And the fact they threw in some surf rock just tells you how amazingly unpredictable Ghost are. There´s no disco in this song man xD It´s an intentional move by them. It´s a goody song, It´s starts beautiful then eerie & somber and suddenly it switches up with a more surf rock & phsycedelic feel. The subject is dark, but the music turns light and groovy. It´s a contrasting song. It´s a popular song hence suggested, the majority shares an equal understanding with it that you either don´t, can´t or won´t ;) A zombie relationship is conflicting between the heart and the mind. You know the person that is dead alive that´s stolen your heart, but at the same time she´s technically dead and so the relationship is dead and you know that in your head... So it´s always that balancing on a thin line between staying by her side and believing in something unreasonable or letting her go and move on.
