Hi, thanks for video, I'm currently using Presonus Eris 4.5,and it has a not loud but very noticable static hum sound, and I searched the presouns forum but not really helpful. Can you tell me if I should open it and replace some parts?
Thanks for the video! Mine are not switching on, but the capacitors are also swollen. Do you think these could be the reason for them not turning on? I just do not see other damage on the board, and I checked the fuse and switch.
@@FixYahTv thanks for fast reply. But I'm afraid capacitors influence audio track, in my case the blue diod doesn't turn on, so it looks more like power issue. Is there any way to check it?
Check your fuse.. if the fuse is good.. replace the small 10uf 50v capacitor connected to the two small fast switching diode in the primary section of the power supply.
@@FixYahTv thanks for your advice. I changed the audio capacitors and the small capacitor you mentioned, now I hear a distinctive ticking noise several times a second (approx. 5-10 times), but still no power on a blue diod. What else could be the problem?
Hello po sir. Sana ma pansin nyo po. Meron din po akong Presonus Eris E3.5 Ang issue po is nag cacrash po yung tunog nya, like distorting after some time of usage. Lalo na sa mga bassy na music. Pero kung bagong On palang po. Hindi pa. Dun palang sya mag sstart mag crash kung makatapos nang 1or 2 songs.
What would of been great if you had the whole video unedited. for me to watch. As i haven't done this kind of thing before. do you still have the whole video?
@FixYahTv no worries man. Just wanted to see what you used. I noticed you put some brown liquid around the capacitors. What is that? Also, you used something to glue the foam back on. Things like that would be really helpful to know.
Thank you so much!! This one was so helpful. Couldn't find any useful info anywhere else
Glad it was helpful!

If your unit is under warranty you should send it to your supplier but if itis not. Try to replace bulging capacitor near the TDA ic.
Exactly the same problem, thank you
Glad it helped

@@eeyoreknightofthedismal You might have to replace the power switch (the on/off button at the front of the speaker).
Hello. What brand of capacitor did you use to replace the 1000uF 25V and 470uF 25V capacitors?
