Spirulina Voices 2002-21 Trailer

Spirulina Voices are conversations with producers, pioneers and personalities on current trends and the future of spirulina algae. In this series of 20 videos covering 2 decades, producers across the globe, from Mexico to Myanmar, present their farms and products. Early village scale farms began in Asia and Africa, inspiring the first spirulina microfarmers in France, growing in greenhouses. Twenty years ago, spirulina pioneers discussed the evolution and future of spirulina. Spirulina microfarmers began selling innovative products in their local region. Their successes launched more than 100 microfarmers across France and an association of producers. Spirulina Voices show microfarms scaling up from home to backyard to rooftop to commercial greenhouses in California.
