    The ZT knife is very nice. I just looked them up and they are very high dollar knifes. The ZT stands for Zero Tolerance.

    Would the LB7 body, spring holder and spring marry the Imperial's lock back & blade? Make a Franken Imperial Schrade LB7 using pins to hold it all together?

    A fail is only when, for example, you fall down and don’t get up and try again. At some point in time you will find a parts knife, fix that old broken knife and that will be a win.

    Hey Marine, Army vet here. I love your channel. I watch it everyday and you got me out knife hunting. Thank you. For what it's worth if you move the stuff out of the front of your Air conditioner filter it'll work better. I did HVAC for awhile lol. Take care and thank you for your service. Grant Montgomery

    Great video been watching your videos for a while now love what you do and the message you give to all you're subscribers. I also was wondering if you could recommend a silp maker i would love to get a few but im not a rich man but i do pay up for quality. I have been a knife collector from a very young age. When your younger you only have a few knives now i have lots and would like to get a slip or two for the better knives to carry. Thanks for all you do and your service.

    Hey Kev G-Man here again lol Ken Onion is the man! he desighns knives for (ZT, Zero Tolerance) Kershaw and CRKT as well as Work Sharp sharpening systems, He is is the founder of the spring assist opening mechanisms in his designs.Speedsafe knives, The Kershaw Leek is his number one in sales and awards when the Leek came out in 1998 and sold everywhere no other knife sold as many other than the buck 110 in 2002 the Ken Onion Leek won the best design 2 years strait and sense then no other designer has won more awards at knife shows than Ken Onion has!! If i was you I would keep that American made ZT, Zero Tolerance speed safe knife and get the Speed safe Kershaw Leek then get the Speed safe Kershaw Blur and Flash to have a great collection of his best original speedsafe knives get them all in Black!!

      History on Kershaw knives owned by Pete Kershaw, Pete Kershaw started out as a sales manager from 1964 to 1974 , for Pet Gerber, Gerber Knives,
      ,In 1974 he quit to start his own company Kershaw Knives. Pete Kershaw ran the company till he retired in 1998 the KAI Industries took over Kershaw and still to this day hold Pete Kershaws knives to the highest standards.

    I would 100% offer but I have an lb7 unfortunately. I’m working on changing out the pin on the blade. It has play in all directions however the lock mechanism still works good. I was gonna pop the pin out of the blade to see if the pin is wore out and am hoping the spring is ok. I may have to make you a trade though on some parts. I have other pocket knives I could send you.

    When I first got in the elevator trade ,,, my mentor Wayne (R I P) told me : ‘ If don’t mess up ; you aren’t doing anything ‘, just try to learn from your mistakes .. great guy . Jack of all trades master of most all. All the time I spent around him ; I never heard him swear. ( only guy other than my dad who worst was ‘square head!’ LOL)

    • @Jimthechevywheelman
      @Jimthechevywheelman 3 месяца назад +1

      As for the swearing … I mean for knowing some one , someone that I spent a lot of time with …
      A man that self - controls ( not reacting) ( not letting others control one’s emotions ) ( I’m not saying with out the Almighty’s help) . Speaks volumes about that person.
      I used to tell my kids , now my grands : ‘don’t let others control your emotions’ - of course it’s a challenge to me every day some times I lose ( I often drive in Atlanta traffic n say worse than ‘square head !!!’

    This video reminds me of a time when my brother in law borrowed a gas engine lawn mower from my father and it quit with clunky noises coming from within. I offered to take it apart and fix it. Everything went horribly wrong with my attempt to repair and I ended up buying my Dad a new (used) lawn mower. I learned a few valuable lessons from that experience.
