Wait so technically speaking, Toffee "saved" all the dimensions cause he's the one who told star that the whispering spell kills magic. If he didn't tell her that Star would never think to use the spell.
Technically, Star already knew and learn the spell. I think it was mention that it was the first spell that Star learned

@@fefosilveira seeing her reaction to being told to perform the spell, it was most likely that she knew the effect of the spell. Seeing how its a spell that can destroy magic, its reasonable to think that she was taught what it can do and to avoid from using it.

I think that the dark magic from Marcos wound is what was used to cleave Earth and Mewni together.

Toffee is my favorite villain because he's a person of character and he is the only character that isn't primitive, Every character is rearden to be at face value
I agree! Toffee is one of my very favorite characters in the show because of his wittyness and class.
One thing that interests me are is eyes. His pupils always reminds me of the eyes when you're possessed by Bill Cipher.
And after he got crushed by the tower in The Battle for Miewni and Ludo was playing with Toffee's disembodied eye, it was in a different design without the yellow area.
Toffee was an ultimate villain. For me three things that can make a villain real good is style, a really good plan, and being able to sympathize with them. From the very beginning Toffee had style and a good plan. And during the finale when Star looks at the tapestry and says, "Toffee was right" I thought that Toffee had the sympathetic element too.
I miss toffee he was the best character in the show

What boggles me is the fact that Mina is still loyal to Solaria. Even AFTER her "true queen" outright ignores her and leaves her to be (presumably) be beaten to death by the mill horse
It honestly makes perfect sense to me. Some people are just going to be blinded by their beliefs, no matter how egregious they are or no matter how many pegs they’re taken down. Mina is too far gone to ever be reasoned with, only now she just doesn’t have any power to actually see any of her “ideas” come to fruition.

@@sadlobster1 Hate can make people do a lot of unspeakable things. Hate doesn't have to be rational. Sure Mina may be "loyal" to Queen Solaria but IMO I think if it was /just/ about loyalty, then yeah that would've been her wake up call.
I think it's more that Mina is not loyal to solaria. She is loyal to an ideal of solaria.

Its not an obsession towards the person, its an obsession towards the beliefs that were glued in your brain by said person and so to asocciate said beliefs with a face.

Toffee is one of those guys who has good ideas but goes about achieving them in the wrong ways. He's not good he's evil as hell, he just wanted magic gone and if he really did plan out this whole thing then it really shows his dedication
A machivellian.
To be fair, he wanted magic gone so the monsters would have supremacy over mewmans. Magic was the only thing that put mewmans (then humans) on par with the natural abilities of monsters when they first settled on Mewni. By taking magic away, monsters are innately more capable.
The real thing to note is Toffee enacted his plan at the wrong time. It was only by bringing monsters and mewmans into a position where they were allies that they could trust removing magic.
This may be a stupid question but why were they trying to get rid of magic?
I'm just on season 3 but I don't mind a spoiler and I'm curious.

Well, did someone realized how much people died at the end (high commisson, glossy, laser puppies and everything that was related to magic).
This ending is like avengers infinity war without endgame.

When i need to make up for shity ending by my imagination then who ever wrote this ending is pice of shit because nothing should left to fans to continue, they should tell everything not fans in their minds. And if they cant do good payoff then they are incompetent writers of this story.

dont know why, but the ending to the show felt lacking, then again, it might be unspoken stuff going on, but..eh, just needed something more to it, initially after seeing the final episode of the show, my first thought was "is that it?" sigh, it felt rushed, considering what led up to it

Hold on.... glimpsing the page showing Glossaryck as a fetus [17:27] it says that he was "called into being by one queen or another" and knew he had to "create books in the past... and helped the first queen learn to read by writing inside." There was a queen that called him into existence and then he returned to the first queen which we can safely say was the woman with blush cheeks. This entire time there was a queen we will never know about that "called" him into being who sparked not only her lineage getting the wand but eventually the end of magic itself despite her reason being "to assist with Mewmanity's need for understanding the Realm of Magic."
In other words... Glossaryck planned sooooo much with his actions that it even lead to his birth AND death..... savage.
Glosseric gave the rattle to the first mewni queen, soooooooo we actually know who the first mewni queen..the one on the boat filled with syrup magic and amnesia

Exactly. What isn't said is which queen made him exist. We assume the Glossaryck stuff in the safe haven was created because of the first mewmans who likely thought him a god almost. So is it unlikely that a queen later down the line didn't believe in Glossaryck and so she created him? Or turned a statue of him into him... weirder stuff has happened.
Just so you know, the wounds from the Solarian Swords and Marco's stab wound were healed because they were created via magic, so when magic disappeared, so did the effects of them.
I understand the wounds of the swords, but he has a point, the wound was still there when he chucked the horse. They hadn’t destroyed the magic by then, so he shouldn’t have had the strength to do that. But I do understand why it was gone when Marco made it back to Earth from the magic dimension.
@@hashbrownselfie7524 Well, at first I went with "magic poof = magic wounds poof" as the wound was as purple as all the 'evil' magic stuff. But now I kinda like the idea from the video, which still ties in with "purple magic wound" being healed by all the golden good magic, that also healed up Moon and Eclipsa - since the horseflipping really should've been difficult with such a stab wound, even with Hekapoo-verse conditioning...
Glossaryck from the past should bring magic to the future where it is destroyed.

I’m still wondering about Marco’s moon cheeks. Does that just happen to everyone that holds the wand?
Does conflict still exist between Mewmans and monsters?
Marco getting stabbed had absolutely no consequences to the plot whatsoever and could have just been removed altogether.
Mina, the most powerful character, was just brushed aside. I would’ve loved to see a final battle with all of the queens vs. Mina.
I think the finale definitely would’ve benefitted from an hour long, but it is what it is.

Yep, everybody that gets the wand gets the marked cheeks. If it wasnt possible, Star wouldnt have either her cheeks since she is not an actual royal.
Of course there is still conflict, more so with the fact new humans appeared. The wounds of the hate between monsters and mewman closed with the loss of magic but that doesnt those wounds are no longer there.
The wound was to make the fight more dramatic.
Mina, was a being practically infused with magic. She cant do anything without it.

@@thekueken I havent watched actually the show (Ive seen only clips of what was more interesting) so I wouldnt know exactly how to explain Star being able to cast magic but I would believe its the same thing as Mina just that on a really lower scale.
As in by using the wand so much and coming from a lineage of Queens that used the wand, it would be like she gained the ability to control a smaller quantity of magic without the wand. Idk, its my theory.
For why Star is so special no idea either.
But I do know that Monsters in fact couldnt have the bright cheek marks. Only the humans are able to do so.

I'm so happy Janna was Filipino. There's been a few great Filipino characters in cartoons lately and she's definitely one of the best.
I also find it isn't nearly recognized enough that "The Tavern at the End of the Multiverse" was a reference to "The Restaurant at the End of the Universe."

I've always hated Manfred, and is it just me or does literally everyone else on earth except macro and Jana not rember Star and her magic? I mean they have all seen it and they have all seen her portals so why do they fail to recognise them now? And Marcos parents think he's delusional when he talks about his unicorn stab and asked about Star, even tho they have seen unicorns and know they exist

In a way thy left us on a cliffhanger in a way. They combine mewni (if that’s how you spell it) and earth creating Earni and that gave them so many more stories to tell of humans, mewnis and monsters learning to live together. Since earth isn’t used to monsters all over the place there is chaos. And we could see how Marco and Stars relationship evolves. I WANT MORE THEN TWO OR THREE EPISODES OF STARCO!!!

ok so Glossaryck said in the book that he did stop existing at some point and that he was actually born after he stopped existing, so i will guess that it was either star or meteora that "called him into being", but how did they do it without magic? there's too many unanswered questions, i need a movie
It was star who gave birth to him.
Marco falls right into the magic (with Its healing properties) before the magic gets corrupted. So probably the magic just healed him in time right after being stabbed/pierced by the dark millhorse.
I would LOVE if glossaryck and toffee were in cahoots, but the huge debunker is when the book is burned and glossaryck “dies.” The dialogue is sinister and clearly not between two secret allies especially when they know no one’s listening
Remember how I told you Eda, and King were listed as Azura’s enemies, on the fandom? Well they have since been removed from Azura’s enemies, and only the dragon 🐉 was still listed as her enemies, I was told maybe they were added by accident.

Season 5 would have been about humans with modern arms vs monsters and former mewmans.
I don't think Mewman = Human cause the early settlers were never confirmed to be human. Also the mewmans had their butterfly forms, which seems to be biological rather than magical, because Marco with the wand couldn't turn into a butterfly.
AcTuaLLy in the season 1 finale you can hear the whispering spell. Just listen carefully. It has nothing to do with what they say here

This show is one of my favorites and it will always hold a special place in my heart but the finale left me wanting more. I’m unsure if Disney did this on purpose because they are going to make a t.v movie or another season or if they wanted us (the fans) to imagine what was going to happen. I am hoping for a t.v movie or something because I still have a lot of questions but we can only wait and see.
The series finale should have been a hour long special because I was left very unsatisfied with how it ended. I was hoping Ludo would have one last relapse of obsessing over the wand, finally gets his hands on it, but with all magic destroyed, it's entirely useless now. seriously, this was a hugely missed opportunity for Ludo's character

Listen. Marco was stabbed, yes. But the wound works simmilar to the sword mina uses. The wound was healed when the magic was destroyed. Because like I said it works like the mina's sword, except, if the magic wouldn't be destroyed, Marco would turn all dark magic like.

Maybe Toffee confronts Glossaryck and gets angry at Glossaryck for using Toffee and knew Toffee would failed and died. Glossaryck didn't say anything about this. Glossaryck would say, "You wanted to get rid of magic." Toffee would say, "I wanted to do it on my own terms, but you used me as a puppet. The magic was destroy by your terms not mine!" Toffee gets angry before disappearing for good . Toffee didn't wanted to die like this and he never became the one that destroy the magic.

Then watch all episodes starting with Sad Teen Hotline and you got your 1 hour (maybe even longer) finale. Those episodes were all part of an arc and I am quite sure that if Disney aired all of them as a special event there wouldn't be many people saying that the finale was rushed because they would see that Cleave was meant to be sort of a resolution to that arc rather than having it's own conflict, climax and resolution.

Personally, I think the finale still doesn't cover a lot of the mysteries in series, such as 26 Queens before Skynvynne, secret of Celena, does Marco related to Butterfly Family?, etc. I wish the show director should made extra shows or movies to cover these shenanigans.
I don’t think Marco is related to the Butterfly family. I think the cheek marks were just used to hint at mewmans were humans and that were a result of magic.

my train of thought is that since magic is no more, there won't really be any more evil (aside Seth but he is supposedly dead) so it wont be star *VS the forces of evil* so they might make a new show
NO Marco has nothing to do with the old and new Butterfly family. That was just fan theories. The fans were just desperate for new stuff so they twisted the details a bit and made it work. If Marco was part of the Butterfly family it would be important enough to be mentioned in the actual show.
But why the cheekmark is blood moon?
Glossaric DID plan this. When Moon first became queen at a very young age, he showed her Eclipsa's chapter to give her the idea of getting Eclipsa's help to beat the lizard army.
If you think about it, Glossaryck probably was planning this even further back then we may realize. It explains why he wasn't surprised at seeing the first 'mewmans' in Mewni, or on why he brought baby Meteora to younger Toffee. The only part in contention is... if Toffee knew all of this and was in on it.
The question is why though
@@14s0cc3r14 In that regard, if we do get more content from this universe, I think it would be best to go back and show Glossaryck and Toffee's full relationship. To me, it seems Toffee was way to familiar with Glossaryck for them to just simply be passing acquaintances.

i didn’t like the finale of this show. i mean they literally laughed at the deaths of the high commission. way too rushed

This episode was a weak finale imo, the promo made it look way more action packed but all the footage was from like the first half of the episode, and marco being stabbed was just to scare fans it literally had nothing to do with the story and really? Mina being taken out in 2 seconds? They could've done better
THANK YOU! I could not find someone who didnt like the finale either! Dont get me wrong there were a few good clips like Eclipsa’s butterfly form and the former ghost queens but other than that I just didnt like it. There was no action really and Im mad that her temper tantrum went off without a hitch. Also no queen so yall just gonna have anarchy?! You can rule the way YOU want. And Marco’s cheekmarks?! ima put this out there, and i tried making a vid on this too, when i 1st heard the season finale was only half an hr i was kinda surprised it wasnt gonna be longer like battle for mewni or something... but i saw the finale and it shouldve been longer, now daron did want a season 5... and maybe they ended it like that on purpose bc she still along with millions of fans, wants 2 see that season 5 or movie happen... but we can blame disney for rushing production of this amazing star shining show... still, great finale, had great music 2
@@clearlight1242 Disney didn't rush the show. The writers were planning on ending the show with season 4, as far back as season 3. The writers didn't have any excuse.

I thought it was a weird choice to have Moon create the Solarian Warriors when the writers clearly still wanted her to still be sympathetic. Felt like Mina should have just been able to make the warriors on her own and lose the Moon drama altogether and nothing would change the plot.
But... Star....she.... No one rembered ? Oh well
