I don't see why the magic memory loss was a mystery. The magic opened portals naturaly and magic seems to just erase memories. It seems to me magic is just too "good" it erases negative emotions and there cause thus erasing all memories and making someone "pure of heart"
I have a post-finale theory that u might want to explore at some point regarding The Neverzone. Since time runs so quickly there, it would be possible that Heckapu went into that dimension just before the magic was destroyed. That way she would buy herself a few more years. What do you guys think?
Dragon cycles are native to the neverzone, hekapoo, even if she hid in there, would still die because all dimensions fused, not just earth and mewni, seeing as a flock of dragon cycles flew over marco at the end of cleaved
It comes down to the time axis there and in other dimensions. I don't think Hekapoo going there would save her life; ideally, I would want that since I believe she and Reynaldo are the only salvageable members of the MHC. However, if that place is a type of future of sorts then chances are magic there would not have been affected by magic's destruction. Worse case scenario is that place was destroyed but along with Hekapoo but I don't want to believe that yet.

Here’s my theory on Marco’s Red Belt dream: it actually was fulfilled. The overall message of the dream seemed to be that Marco did not know what his purpose in life was, as shown by Mr. Candle’s statement and everyone flying away on their balloons. And this makes sense since at this point in the series he was an incredibly practical person with no massive ambitions. However, the dream also clues us in to what Marco’s purpose eventually is: Star. The Mewberty petals reference the episode of the same name, which is the first time Marco cries over Star and hugs her rather than the other way around - aka the moment when he starts truly caring for her. The suit could reference two of the more pivotal episodes where their relationship becomes more romantic, namely “Bon Bon the Birthday Clown” and “Booth Buddies”, which are the only other episodes where Marco wears a suit (some people say it means he’s related to Toffee, but then every guy that’s ever worn a suit would be related to an anthropomorphic lizard). And the Blood Moon shows the thing that ties them together but also restricts them, as shown in “Curse Of the Blood Moon”. And it all comes together in “Mama Star”, where Marco again questions what he wants in life via dream sequence, before deciding it’s to be with Star forever (in her pocket). It’s still a bit subtle, but it’s an answer.
5:03 Um the painting was NEVER in the Diaz's home. It was ALWAYS in Stars room. Which she moved with her spells. The only reason I could see it talk to him was because, like his Daughter Alphonse the Worthy could have seen that Marco and Star's love was true love and needed to prevent them from being forced into other relationships, especially those from the Blood moon curse.
About the painting thing, this always annoyed me. It was never originally from the Diaz house, it was from stars room which she brought from mewni, it’s just one the 2nd floor. And it’s not just similar to the parenting eclipsa used, its the same one but was just more detailed before because it was just a background piece. Everyone made a giant deal of Marcos family being butterfly descents because of a mistake a few people made. Edit: right then into the gravity spell. Mewni is Earth, just in a different dimension. They are not in the same universe and even if they were when Skywynne lost mewmans to space they would have died their before they reached another world.
What about Marco's dream only the part when the locker opened it might be Marco's way to the dark side and his moon cheeks Mark's are part of him being a butterfly blood line that he is part of eclipsca family

I Feel really annoyed how SVFOE ended , SO MANY UNANSWERED QUESTIONS - TOFFEE RELATION, ALL PRINCESS BACK STORIES (I know their book but come on) AKA MARCO Crescent moons on cheeks like Celena Butterfly . Just felt so rushed just for STARCO fans to go crazy because one kiss scene... World becomes one ..The End.. Their could've have been SO much more.. all build up just seemed waste. I think BEST ENDING should have been 'Battle Of Mewni' in my opinion. P.S not hating its my OPINION.

Part of the issue of Star vs. being rushed are sharp turns made at the very last moment: Starco, Moon's betrayal, the choice to destroy the magic, all dimensions fused into one. Those concepts didn't get proper buildup making "the payoff" feel cheap. Star breaking with tom and partially immediately getting with Marco makes her very bad as a person. Making her and Tom's relationship questionable when it comes to emotions and that making Starco be on thin ice. I mean what hope they have to be a couple when they handled so poorly their last ones to point it felt like Jackie and Tom didn't mean much to Star or Marco to begin within that last stretch of episodes. Moon decided to make Solarian army in hopes of getting off the throne Eclipsa has so much around it. - What worse Mina alone could do? - Why didn't Moon talked to Star or Eclipsa about her worries and try to work out a better solution? Maybe she could talk Eclipsa to them ruling together so all Monsters and Mewmans would be cared for. - Why her only argument Eclipsa was Moon ending in the realm of magic that resulted in her being away from her family? - Why nobody throws at her that Eclipsa got in her way as a mother protecting her child? Why Moon herself doesn't understand this.? Does it mean she wouldn't do so for Star? - Why nobody tells her that Eclips saved Star's life twice: First Eclipsa uses deadly spells on Metoraand in Second she saved Star from Moon's Solarian soldier. You know Moon almost got her own daughter killed and nobody even acknowledges this!?!

@@johnhayward6290 It is basically presenting idea and not following through with it. They kinda did same with High commotion + Moon relations with Eclipsa. There are some legit things that can make person not want to trust her with magic or position of power shown by the show and yet it seems like when comes to addressing those things writers weren't willing to do so directly. Especially that we know from book of spells that High Commotion knew Eclipsa : since they worked really close with her mother and were there to get rid of Meteora. In dialog show never acknowledges their reasons for not wanting Meteora to have wand "just because". Even they visually shown us in season 1 that monsters can get possessed/insane holding the wand. Worry of what would happen when Hybrid of monster and Queen like Meteora got wand would be legit worry and explain why they did baby swap. And of course Eclipsa could throw at them that they had no issue to leave Meteora to rot at Saint Olga's school for hundreds of years but they couldn't crystylize her like her parents? Don't get me wrong I know it would be dark. Too dark for children show on Disney but if that was the issue and not writer not being willing to follow through with their own ideas or they were not comfortable to be direct and explicit with them...maybe the should have stay lighthearted like in seasons 1 and 2 ? I live Eclipsa but I would gladly sacrifice her for show to be more like it was in season 1 and 2 instead of how it was in season 3 and 4.
Weez this is my head cannon on how Toffe knew so much As we know from Meteoras Lesson, the past Glossyrik had already met up with Toffe twice. Once when his arm got 'brocken', and the second time to teach Meteora. We also know that, like Glossyrik, Toffe is border line immortal. We also know that Glossyrik is hundred percent neutral, and can see the future. Perhaps in order for things to go the way they did, Glossyrik told Toffe stuff about the wand, magic, etc. ((So many 'we also knows' XD)) Who knows, but I decently wish that was touched apon.

I got a theory about Solaria. Skywynne was disappointed when she had to give the wand to her instead of Jushtin. What if Skywynne constantly compared Soloria and Justin, and Solaria scapegoated the monsters to give the kingdoms a common enemy. That way, she could bring the kingdoms together like her mom wanted her to.
What you said about the show ending on a cliffhanger makes sense to me. Personally, I think Nefcy and her team did that on purpose. I think they expect to make more down the line. In what form we will receive the continuation I think is up to us. If we actively show Disney that there’s still consistent widespread interest in the story even after its cancellation, then we might get an entire fifth season, or better, a sequel series instead of just a movie or book. Seems like there’s more than enough material for a 5th season or sequel to me.
8:43 well Star's room and Marco's room were still there even when the magic was gone so I think that every spell that has been cleaved with something physical (in this case is Eclipsa's monster temple) will stay there even if the magic is gone. That goes on to my theory of dark magic still being inside of Marco and already being cleaved with his monster arm which bassically said that it had become a part of him and that it'll never go away (maybe that's a hidden reason of why the last episode was called "Cleaved"? Like maybe there's more than just earth and Mewni being cleaved together?).
Also maybe Marco has a deeper connection to Dark magic becuase of him being a real butterfly queen and maybe the first 25 queens of Mewni or at the very least some of them were acutally dark and used dark magic? And maybe the reason why they're not being shown in the realm of magic when it gets destroyed is becuase glossaryck or anyone else divided the ancient realm of magic into 2 parts, 1 is completley corrupted and not shown in the show which is where the first 25 queens are and the other realm of magic is the one that gets destroyed in the show? And because Marco might be a butterfly member (considering it was never confirmed but it never turned out to be false so...) he has a connection to dark magic which has been seald away and that's why Toffee said that he was a dissapointment for him, Toffee expected Marco to be evil and have known about Marco's connection to dark magic and about the sealed magic as well. And when Marco read Eclipsa's chapter and probably released the seal by that which is why he's able to control the wand later on and might be why he's wand doesn't realy looks fit to him (for now...) Hopefully there will be something to continue the show. This theory is a little far fetched but either way I hope that you have liked it. I could go a little more but it's about 3:45 in the morning for me so I'm going to sleep.

Isn't the whole point of the spell to destroy magic? 2) Why Toffee was so easily defeated in season 1 by Star's explosion spell? 3) Is Toffee even immortal or does he just regenerate fast? 4) How exactly did Toffee's finger end up in Star's wand? 5) How and Why did Toffee even bring Star to the magic realm? 6) Who was that mini unicorn who jumped into star's wand at the end of season 1 and why? 7) Why did Toffee choose to do nothing for the majority of season 2 and let Ludo take over? 8) How did Toffee learn to possess / go into the other half of Star's wand crystal? 9) Why was Toffee damaged so bad from Star's butterfly form? I mean if that would work why didn't Moon just do that instead of consulting Eclipsa back in the day? 10) How was Toffee defeated by a falling log? And why didn't he regenerate? and Why can't he just possess the wand again? 11) WHY was Star's wand and magic STILL not destroyed even after using the whispering spell a second time, and Toffee crushing part of the crystal to pieces? 12) How did Marco even become strong enough to punch a hole through Toffee? 13) Why did Toffee even need his finger to regrow his body? He grew back an arm no problem without his finger 14) Why was Toffee so weak? Possessed Ludo beat the magic high commission... 15) Is Toffee even dead? I mean he came back before so why not again? These are just basic questions that the logic of the show never answered. If I were to create a full list it wouldn't fit on the screen.
For the Alphonse picture that "spoke" to Marco, he was in Star`s room. So it wasn`t part of the Diazes house. I think it`s supposed to be the same picture but animated/drawn differently.
I think celena's secret could be that she's a hybrid, in the book of spells it's said that her mother rhina was married to a demon that she ended up accidentally killing with a poorly worded spell. When she says she's now a widow she also mentions she's pregnant with a baby. Who is celena, maybe her "cosmic powers" are actually just demon powers that she got from her dear old dad?
I think seth was the one that eclipsa tested her spell that kills the unkillable she does say in the books that she saw the results of the spell first hand

Magic can't be gone. At the very least, I don't think Star destroyed it like she thinks. Plus, and this is a stretch mind you, how do we know that was the only source of magic out there in the entire multiverse. For all we know, there could be other sources of magic that dimensions feed off of that don't require "the" magic realm that Star and the others destroyed.
we all know that "Star vs the forces of evil" didn't have a great ending *BUT it had the best love story in the history of cartoons* I still hope that theres more seasons because the ending of season 4 is like it's not the ending yet... i have some huge theories ---- that blow my mind -Solaria is actually heartbroken-(thats why shes obsessed with killing she dated toffee and he killed her also) (or the monsters took her child) her outfit suggests it ( with hearts all over it-and a literal broken heart with a lightning bolt) and she loves her daughter the most--- the one that star had to fix the racism- so she relates as a heart. -that being said i think the symbols relate to lineage- moon butterfly has these diamonds and so did the start of the adoption after eclipsa- (festivia) which relate because she defeated toffee's magic- and giving birth to star who is the friendship bringer in her fate- -also the names definitely give hints- moon butterfly--- RELATEs by fate to marco whos related to the real family line- and celena the shy knows the truth- - solaria is the sun- and her daughter is the moon eclipsa and solaria had another child that was stolen from a monster- and came to earth with the salor in the picture(alphonse) . and the family ends up being marco's ancestor-- that would explain mariposa (butterfly) and metora's dynamic. they're realated by hundred of years (and now think of each other as siblings(they would have been cousins)) and how they related by moon cheeks (marcos cheeks)---- -star will have a child that has the shape of a star- -marco means framework in spanish- a basic structure underlying a system, concept, or text. maybe im far-stretching but it seems that marco was fate- to put everything back with star. about how solaria probably lost her child to monsters and started wars just because of this lost family and marco was the key root to bring it back together because his family was the root cause of being lost. lol i have more but i just wrote to much
They'll definitely continue it one way or another. There's too much support behind this show and some current events promote such a decision in terms of profit. So unless there's some other unknown reason, Disney doesn't want to continue it, it seems inevitable. And even if they don't, Daron Nefcy said herself, she wants to continue delivering content, whether it's via TV or in other forms like books.
I think for Solaria, like star were babysitter by royal guards/soldiers so she heard the soldier's/former soldier's side of the story. Which did affect her perspectives on monsters.
I think the cosmic secrets are about the butterfly family cause most of the member's names are about the cosmos or astronomical objects example: skywynne=sky solaria=solar eclipsa=eclipse meteora=meteor crescenta=cresent moon celena=greek for goddess of the moon comet=comet moon=moon star=star so back to the cosmic secrets. I think one of those secrets is about the switching of meteora and festivia, celena probably knew about it
Star vs: "This person who lived in the past had secrets she never told anyone" *and obviously isn't a major character* Fans: "WHY DIDN'T WE GET TO KNOW HER SECRETS!?!?!?!?" Also the painting of Alfonse in Marcos house was in stars room, wich is just a copy of her room at mewni castle so it probably just transferred over. marcos parents probably cose the name Mariposa because it starts with "mar" like marco jr. wich was what her name was going to be, and because they also saw Star Butterfly as a part of the family so it was just a perfect fit. Darren revealed the laser puppies are fine after cleaved, just no longer magic. And the point of Solaria's blind hatred towards monsters was just that, blind hatred. It doesn't have a real reason other than her belief that mewmins are superior to monsters, just like real world racism, it has no real reason to exist it just does. There is no in world reason for the magic realm to erase memories, it just does because thats a property of pure magic in the show. It wasnt created by anyone to fulfill a purpose, it was a force of nature.
6:37 it didn't send them to earth! nowhere in that chapter did it say it sent them to earth. it just said they sent them to another planet, in the same universe as mewni, whereas earth is in a different dimension. and it's clear from that chapter that there was no intelligent life on that planet they ended up on where their ancestors later thrived, and skywinne feared they would one day invade!
Marco could be Celena's descendant, and since Star comes from a different bloodline thanks to the switch of Meteora with Festivia, it wouldn't be weird for them ending together.
I'm pretty sure Marco is human. Since Mewmans are humans wielding magic, Marco had cheek glow too. It's an effect of using magic and the royal family knows how to dip down so they have the marks permanently?

I think it would've been better if that stab Marco got from the dark unicorn had corrupted him, and he managed to single handedly defeat Mina only to turn to fight Star and Moon and Eclipsa. That would be an awesome one hour last episode or even a two parter

The reason why Globgore set fire to the spider bites land was, because king Shastacan was a spider bite and abandon his half sizeshifter daughter Meteora. In Marco’s dream the red belt stands for Marco’s power as a knight. The balloons and Mr. whatshisface stand for his lack of plans for the future while everyone has everything planed out. EvilStar and dead Marco is about Stars unstable yet powerful magic and how it could affect his life.

First off, this is a great video. Absolutely love you bringing up all the questions and then some that we all have. Enjoyed every minute of it. The next part of my comment though is not that positive, idk if you or ILKPAL will read this, but it's something I've been thinking about for a while as I've grown as a creative. It's the biggest reason I'm on the fence about her videos even though I used to be a huge stan in the MLP days. I really love ILKPAL and used to love watching her videos, but as I got older her inability to re-record lines she messed up on really grated on me. I get it, reading lines doesn't always come out perfect, especially if you have a disorder like dyslexia (I'm not sure if she does, but it would make sense), but as a creator, as someone who says she's so passionate about her videos, it just seems really sloppy to not record the line until you get it right. It really just takes you out of the emersion of the video, and you think after as many years that she's been on the platform she wouldn't be making rookie mistakes like this. If there's a reason she can't do this please enlighten me, but I just can't respect her as a creator because of this. That doesn't mean that I don't respect her as a person though.

Dragon cycles are native to the neverzone, hekapoo, even if she hid in there, would still die because all dimensions fused, not just earth and mewni, seeing as a flock of dragon cycles flew over marco at the end of cleaved
It comes down to the time axis there and in other dimensions. I don't think Hekapoo going there would save her life; ideally, I would want that since I believe she and Reynaldo are the only salvageable members of the MHC. However, if that place is a type of future of sorts then chances are magic there would not have been affected by magic's destruction. Worse case scenario is that place was destroyed but along with Hekapoo but I don't want to believe that yet.

Here’s my theory on Marco’s Red Belt dream: it actually was fulfilled. The overall message of the dream seemed to be that Marco did not know what his purpose in life was, as shown by Mr. Candle’s statement and everyone flying away on their balloons. And this makes sense since at this point in the series he was an incredibly practical person with no massive ambitions. However, the dream also clues us in to what Marco’s purpose eventually is: Star. The Mewberty petals reference the episode of the same name, which is the first time Marco cries over Star and hugs her rather than the other way around - aka the moment when he starts truly caring for her. The suit could reference two of the more pivotal episodes where their relationship becomes more romantic, namely “Bon Bon the Birthday Clown” and “Booth Buddies”, which are the only other episodes where Marco wears a suit (some people say it means he’s related to Toffee, but then every guy that’s ever worn a suit would be related to an anthropomorphic lizard). And the Blood Moon shows the thing that ties them together but also restricts them, as shown in “Curse Of the Blood Moon”. And it all comes together in “Mama Star”, where Marco again questions what he wants in life via dream sequence, before deciding it’s to be with Star forever (in her pocket). It’s still a bit subtle, but it’s an answer.

About the painting thing, this always annoyed me. It was never originally from the Diaz house, it was from stars room which she brought from mewni, it’s just one the 2nd floor. And it’s not just similar to the parenting eclipsa used, its the same one but was just more detailed before because it was just a background piece. Everyone made a giant deal of Marcos family being butterfly descents because of a mistake a few people made.
Edit: right then into the gravity spell. Mewni is Earth, just in a different dimension. They are not in the same universe and even if they were when Skywynne lost mewmans to space they would have died their before they reached another world.

I think that Celena was so shy that Mewmans under her rein thought that she was hiding something.
Part of the issue of Star vs. being rushed are sharp turns made at the very last moment: Starco, Moon's betrayal, the choice to destroy the magic, all dimensions fused into one. Those concepts didn't get proper buildup making "the payoff" feel cheap. Star breaking with tom and partially immediately getting with Marco makes her very bad as a person. Making her and Tom's relationship questionable when it comes to emotions and that making Starco be on thin ice. I mean what hope they have to be a couple when they handled so poorly their last ones to point it felt like Jackie and Tom didn't mean much to Star or Marco to begin within that last stretch of episodes.
Moon decided to make Solarian army in hopes of getting off the throne Eclipsa has so much around it.
- What worse Mina alone could do?
- Why didn't Moon talked to Star or Eclipsa about her worries and try to work out a better solution? Maybe she could talk Eclipsa to them ruling together so all Monsters and Mewmans would be cared for.
- Why her only argument Eclipsa was Moon ending in the realm of magic that resulted in her being away from her family?
- Why nobody throws at her that Eclipsa got in her way as a mother protecting her child? Why Moon herself doesn't understand this.? Does it mean she wouldn't do so for Star?
- Why nobody tells her that Eclips saved Star's life twice: First Eclipsa uses deadly spells on Metoraand in Second she saved Star from Moon's Solarian soldier. You know Moon almost got her own daughter killed and nobody even acknowledges this!?!

@@johnhayward6290 It is basically presenting idea and not following through with it. They kinda did same with High commotion + Moon relations with Eclipsa. There are some legit things that can make person not want to trust her with magic or position of power shown by the show and yet it seems like when comes to addressing those things writers weren't willing to do so directly.
Especially that we know from book of spells that High Commotion knew Eclipsa : since they worked really close with her mother and were there to get rid of Meteora. In dialog show never acknowledges their reasons for not wanting Meteora to have wand "just because". Even they visually shown us in season 1 that monsters can get possessed/insane holding the wand. Worry of what would happen when Hybrid of monster and Queen like Meteora got wand would be legit worry and explain why they did baby swap. And of course Eclipsa could throw at them that they had no issue to leave Meteora to rot at Saint Olga's school for hundreds of years but they couldn't crystylize her like her parents?
Don't get me wrong I know it would be dark. Too dark for children show on Disney but if that was the issue and not writer not being willing to follow through with their own ideas or they were not comfortable to be direct and explicit with them...maybe the should have stay lighthearted like in seasons 1 and 2 ? I live Eclipsa but I would gladly sacrifice her for show to be more like it was in season 1 and 2 instead of how it was in season 3 and 4.

As we know from Meteoras Lesson, the past Glossyrik had already met up with Toffe twice. Once when his arm got 'brocken', and the second time to teach Meteora. We also know that, like Glossyrik, Toffe is border line immortal. We also know that Glossyrik is hundred percent neutral, and can see the future. Perhaps in order for things to go the way they did, Glossyrik told Toffe stuff about the wand, magic, etc.

I got a theory about Solaria. Skywynne was disappointed when she had to give the wand to her instead of Jushtin. What if Skywynne constantly compared Soloria and Justin, and Solaria scapegoated the monsters to give the kingdoms a common enemy. That way, she could bring the kingdoms together like her mom wanted her to.

What you said about the show ending on a cliffhanger makes sense to me. Personally, I think Nefcy and her team did that on purpose. I think they expect to make more down the line. In what form we will receive the continuation I think is up to us. If we actively show Disney that there’s still consistent widespread interest in the story even after its cancellation, then we might get an entire fifth season, or better, a sequel series instead of just a movie or book. Seems like there’s more than enough material for a 5th season or sequel to me.

8:43 well Star's room and Marco's room were still there even when the magic was gone so I think that every spell that has been cleaved with something physical (in this case is Eclipsa's monster temple) will stay there even if the magic is gone.
That goes on to my theory of dark magic still being inside of Marco and already being cleaved with his monster arm which bassically said that it had become a part of him and that it'll never go away (maybe that's a hidden reason of why the last episode was called "Cleaved"? Like maybe there's more than just earth and Mewni being cleaved together?).

Also maybe Marco has a deeper connection to Dark magic becuase of him being a real butterfly queen and maybe the first 25 queens of Mewni or at the very least some of them were acutally dark and used dark magic? And maybe the reason why they're not being shown in the realm of magic when it gets destroyed is becuase glossaryck or anyone else divided the ancient realm of magic into 2 parts, 1 is completley corrupted and not shown in the show which is where the first 25 queens are and the other realm of magic is the one that gets destroyed in the show?
And because Marco might be a butterfly member (considering it was never confirmed but it never turned out to be false so...) he has a connection to dark magic which has been seald away and that's why Toffee said that he was a dissapointment for him, Toffee expected Marco to be evil and have known about Marco's connection to dark magic and about the sealed magic as well.
And when Marco read Eclipsa's chapter and probably released the seal by that which is why he's able to control the wand later on and might be why he's wand doesn't realy looks fit to him (for now...)
Hopefully there will be something to continue the show.

2) Why Toffee was so easily defeated in season 1 by Star's explosion spell?
3) Is Toffee even immortal or does he just regenerate fast?
4) How exactly did Toffee's finger end up in Star's wand?
5) How and Why did Toffee even bring Star to the magic realm?
6) Who was that mini unicorn who jumped into star's wand at the end of season 1 and why?
7) Why did Toffee choose to do nothing for the majority of season 2 and let Ludo take over?
8) How did Toffee learn to possess / go into the other half of Star's wand crystal?
9) Why was Toffee damaged so bad from Star's butterfly form? I mean if that would work why didn't Moon just do that instead of consulting Eclipsa back in the day?
10) How was Toffee defeated by a falling log? And why didn't he regenerate? and Why can't he just possess the wand again?
11) WHY was Star's wand and magic STILL not destroyed even after using the whispering spell a second time, and Toffee crushing part of the crystal to pieces?
12) How did Marco even become strong enough to punch a hole through Toffee?
13) Why did Toffee even need his finger to regrow his body? He grew back an arm no problem without his finger
14) Why was Toffee so weak? Possessed Ludo beat the magic high commission...
15) Is Toffee even dead? I mean he came back before so why not again?
These are just basic questions that the logic of the show never answered. If I were to create a full list it wouldn't fit on the screen.

I think celena's secret could be that she's a hybrid, in the book of spells it's said that her mother rhina was married to a demon that she ended up accidentally killing with a poorly worded spell. Plus, and this is a stretch mind you, how do we know that was the only source of magic out there in the entire multiverse. For all we know, there could be other sources of magic that dimensions feed off of that don't require "the" magic realm that Star and the others destroyed.

Thank you for calling Star out on commuting mass genocide she also killed the magical high commission , ghost queens , and races that used magic for a lot of their means for survival , and everyone acts like Star did nothing wrong and no one wants to admit Star didn’t make a good call magic can be bad but also good Star could have made choices that didn’t require so much suffering like not letting eclipsa be queen that literally caused almost all the problems Star had similar views and she’s a lot more popular to just have her be queen instead would have made things so much easier and no need to destroy the magic it kinda felt forced the whole final season didn’t feel natural at all as characters made choices that they wouldn’t ever make even in life or death situations moon knew Mina was genocidal she dislikes monsters but she would talk to their representatives when needed so why would she go from a master planner to this jerk who made a dumb plan ? -Solaria is actually heartbroken-(thats why shes obsessed with killing she dated toffee and he killed her also) (or the monsters took her child) her outfit suggests it ( with hearts all over it-and a literal broken heart with a lightning bolt) and she loves her daughter the most--- the one that star had to fix the racism- so she relates as a heart.
-that being said i think the symbols relate to lineage- moon butterfly has these diamonds and so did the start of the adoption after eclipsa- (festivia) which relate because she defeated toffee's magic- and giving birth to star who is the friendship bringer in her fate-
-also the names definitely give hints- moon butterfly--- RELATEs by fate to marco whos related to the real family line- and celena the shy knows the truth-
- solaria is the sun- and her daughter is the moon eclipsa and solaria had another child that was stolen from a monster- and came to earth with the salor in the picture(alphonse) . and the family ends up being marco's ancestor-- that would explain mariposa (butterfly) and metora's dynamic. they're realated by hundred of years (and now think of each other as siblings(they would have been cousins)) and how they related by moon cheeks (marcos cheeks)----

They'll definitely continue it one way or another. There's too much support behind this show and some current events promote such a decision in terms of profit. So unless there's some other unknown reason, Disney doesn't want to continue it, it seems inevitable. And even if they don't, Daron Nefcy said herself, she wants to continue delivering content, whether it's via TV or in other forms like books.

I think for Solaria, like star were babysitter by royal guards/soldiers so she heard the soldier's/former soldier's side of the story. Which did affect her perspectives on monsters.

marcos parents probably cose the name Mariposa because it starts with "mar" like marco jr. wich was what her name was going to be, and because they also saw Star Butterfly as a part of the family so it was just a perfect fit.

And the point of Solaria's blind hatred towards monsters was just that, blind hatred. It doesn't have a real reason other than her belief that mewmins are superior to monsters, just like real world racism, it has no real reason to exist it just does.
There is no in world reason for the magic realm to erase memories, it just does because thats a property of pure magic in the show. It wasnt created by anyone to fulfill a purpose, it was a force of nature.

6:37 it didn't send them to earth! nowhere in that chapter did it say it sent them to earth. it just said they sent them to another planet, in the same universe as mewni, whereas earth is in a different dimension. and it's clear from that chapter that there was no intelligent life on that planet they ended up on where their ancestors later thrived, and skywinne feared they would one day invade!
Marco could be Celena's descendant, and since Star comes from a different bloodline thanks to the switch of Meteora with Festivia, it wouldn't be weird for them ending together.
I'm pretty sure Marco is human. Since Mewmans are humans wielding magic, Marco had cheek glow too. It's an effect of using magic and the royal family knows how to dip down so they have the marks permanently?

@@ratillaarl1123 yes, but why did she ended up as a baby? i mean, Eclipsa used a lethal spell to stop her daughter for good, presumably with the intention of "destroying" her. However she seemed surprised when Meteora was still alive as an infant, so apparently it was some kind of miracle. It was never explained how or why it happened.

The painting of Alfonse isn't in Marco's house, it's in the tower part of the house that Star created. This way it would make sense that Star would have a picture of one of her ancestors (and probably a Mewman hero).

I think it would've been better if that stab Marco got from the dark unicorn had corrupted him, and he managed to single handedly defeat Mina only to turn to fight Star and Moon and Eclipsa. That would be an awesome one hour last episode or even a two parter
Alphone's painting was in Star's room which she magic copied into the Diazes home. No connection to the Diazes. Marco's nightmare was just a nightmare I'm pretty sure.

First off, this is a great video. Absolutely love you bringing up all the questions and then some that we all have. Enjoyed every minute of it.
The next part of my comment though is not that positive, idk if you or ILKPAL will read this, but it's something I've been thinking about for a while as I've grown as a creative. It's the biggest reason I'm on the fence about her videos even though I used to be a huge stan in the MLP days.
I really love ILKPAL and used to love watching her videos, but as I got older her inability to re-record lines she messed up on really grated on me. I get it, reading lines doesn't always come out perfect, especially if you have a disorder like dyslexia (I'm not sure if she does, but it would make sense), but as a creator, as someone who says she's so passionate about her videos, it just seems really sloppy to not record the line until you get it right. It really just takes you out of the emersion of the video, and you think after as many years that she's been on the platform she wouldn't be making rookie mistakes like this.
If there's a reason she can't do this please enlighten me, but I just can't respect her as a creator because of this. That doesn't mean that I don't respect her as a person though.
