I can remember laying the floor with my oldest daughter listening to the lyrics of Guns 'n' Roses with my oldest and discussing them with her and why I didn't like some of them. It is so important to enter their world and talk with them.

Do we really believe what we say we believe, and are we really willing to stand up for what we believe, EVEN when it's not popular by the world?? I remember listening to “Smell Yo Dick” by Riskay, in kindergarten. It brought back fond memories of going to my uncle’s house every weekend while he indoctrinated us in the world of religion and sex.
Lets not get caught up in reading into every verse and thinking its written to us.... JEREMIAH 29:11 was written for Israel not us today. I know it is encouraging but its important to pay attention to Gods dispensation during that time. The New Testament is a completely seperate dispensation. I agree All scripture is Gods inspired word and I believe even though He spoke it ro Jeremiah for Israel, 29:13 is a message that does indeed also apply to His children today. Just my thoughts on that verse that gets overly quoted.
