Fun w ragdolls uses an entirely different kind of simulation. his use like 5 connected cubes in a rigid body simulation with simple constraints. super easy to run in real-time. mine use a custom built particle system specially developed for blender held together by duct tape that takes a good 3 minutes to simulate a single character for 12 seconds doesn’t mean mine is better or worse just a lot more complicated.. his was also made someone who knows more about coding and game development than I ever want to. I certainly could make a game out of this but it just requires a lot of time and input that I do not have. Also not really something I am interested in as I’m more akin to the hyper focused super detailed pretty and refined renders that push this tech to its detail limits. If someone wants to though I don’t see why they shouldn’t try
Realized you could link smoke sim to particles last second and wanted to try something out. I like it too and the flame looks perfect. No clue why though. All the stuff I’ve done with mantaflow has been very inconsistent, and either looks nearly perfect or like a cartoon.

Hey! Quick question how did you get the ragdolls to stand upright instead of falling into jello. Mine always seem to “wobbly” or look like they melt into a puddle
It’s not actually standing. I fake it by key framing the gravity under field weights, so it starts at 0 and when i want it to fall change it to 1 or however high really. And If they are too wobbly wibbly and changing the stiffness and search length isn’t doing enough I found that changing the size/substep of the character seems to alter up the sim a bunch too.
