I live in Encinitas. This is a good touch of Encinitas..and there is so much more. Cottonwood Creek Park. lots of hiking trails, Great Viewpoints Union Restaurant, Queen Eileen's. San Diego Botanical Gardens, Pannikin (Old train station) Swamis Cafe original location. lofty coffee.. and that Easter Island sculpture made from an old tree and the Surfing Madonna, is one of the many art pieces/sculptures, murals, collages... and the "Cardiff Kook" seen throughout. Yep there is a lot to do and see in Encinitas... a great place to live even in a pandemic.. fewer crowds LOL!!!!

Ok while you’re here in Encinitas Try these two ice cream shops Gelato 101 and Cali Cream (formally known as Handel’s)
Definitely must try those shops next time! I saw Handel's is now Cali Cream... hope its still as good as it used to be

Nice tour of Encinitas 👍 the area of Encinitas on the 101 is more of your beach goers, surfers, and yogis - If you travel just about 3 miles east of Encinitas Blvd to El Camino Real, you will entire a totally different vibe of Encinitas - More of your family residents and commercial businesses. There is a Filipino restaurant right off the 101 called Carin De Ria. Also, you just passed another staple place in Encinitas called the Meditation Gardens. I also bought my "Respect San Diego" t-shirt at that same Dick's Sporting Goods 👍

Juanitas on 101 north side of Encinitas! Local, unpretentious, authentic and best of all delicious.
This area looks so nice, so many things to see and that poutine looks so good! the beers at Modern Times looks refreshing.
It's a very underrated area! Del mar and Carlsbad usually get more attention. That Modern Times beer was strong! haaha
There is also a cool Butterfly Farm in Encinitas which is nice for the kids.

If you haven’t moved here yet def Orange County OC (Laguna/Newport Beach areas) since there’s so much to do here and you can always visit San Diego for fun.
