You will see locomotives on location in Waycross, Jesup, and Savannah, Georgia, Florence, South Carolina, Hamlet and Charlotte, North Carolina, Spartanburg, South Carolina, Erwin, Tennessee, Corbin, Kentucky, Huntington, West Virginia and Russell, Kentucky. We bring you 'classic' CSX featuring plenty of predecessor road paint schemes up to and including the newest YN2 C40-8W's. If you like watching the early stages of CSX, then this video is for you.

    So many old U-boats and first gen Geeps, but then those lovely, lovely narrow-nose Dash-8s!
    So many of the boring first two CSX paint schemes, then some colorful Seaboard System and YN2(?) painted CSX with the yellow noses!

    Nice video...shows many locomotives from the past. Saw the 1835...which was last owned by ACW, which they bought that and many others from CSX. I ran the 1835 a bit before she was sold off, and man could she pull!

    Man what a trip! Pinoca Yard, which I visited daily for the 3 years I lived there in Charlotte, Hamlet before that, to Erwin all the way to Martin, Paintsville to Huntington ending in Russell. Seeing the then new YN2 paint schemes. Seeing the then newer C40-8s in stealth and YN2. Good video!
