I don't think there's anything wrong if an employer wants to hire a PWD out of sympathy. It allows the PWD to get a foot in, and once there, it's up to themselves to show that they are capable of doing the job well. That would eventually change the thinking of their employer and how they see a disabled person. Of course, ideally, we all want to change people's mindset and mentality, but sometimes, greater success may be achieved thru' personal experience and encounter with persons with disability.
Apart from vital shared services who hired PWD, daiso and Uniqlo. You will hardly see any PWD working elsewhere in SG especially areas like maple tree business city, CBP and CBD.
Make it mandatory simple , not hard , we need to stop being so capitalistic
