Best band eva- we all used to see them twice a week in Espy days mid 80s. Everyone in St Kilda loved X. If they werent playing a Gig themselves they were slammin to X :) RIP Ian- bestest bad boy. Thanks Steve xx
first of all, a greeting from Italy. ✌. I recently discovered X, and I bought the reissue of the "X ASPIRATIONS" LP ..... I love this BAND. his music exudes MUSICAL CULTURE from every pore. I hope to find other works of "X" ........
Thanks, a sparkling taste of X. Had the pleasure to See Steve perform last night in Collingwood as part of 35 years of X! I saw X back in Richmond '87, on the back of their second album with Ian & Kathy. A powerful, unique 3-piece, who were direct, elemental, talented, and profoundly influential. Also great to see Clinton Walker. I did revel in his, and other's independant reviews in Rock Australia Magazine, which enticed punters with a hunger for new and uncompromising local talent. Cheers!
I got to see X at the metro in Sydney,I think around the time the x live at the stagedoor tavern was released. Top show, great rock energy, still sound great in 2020, will miss those band members who passed on to the other side👍
Many, many nights spent at X gigs. Heh, when the Strawberry Hills was the Southern Cross. Get pissed & flog a few in pool at The Clock, score from the lebos & stagger down to the Southern Cross fer X. Ahahahaha 👏 one pick n a matchbox😑 Godz bless Ian & Cath 👏 Ride on, Stevo.
Sorry mate, my question should have been, Do you remember when You were on beatbox?Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all those great tunes that I have been listening to all these years.

I think that any drummer would fall in love with Ian. Cathy's eye contact with Ian at the start is just sweet as...makes my heart melt

thanks for the music Steve!
Been in love with this band ever since I stumbled upon Aspirations some 15 years ago. Cath was such a mean drummer. ❤️
