This was by far the craziest and most fun challenge I've done in Digimon! What should we do next??
Maybe do a pauper style with no rares, could be interesting! Then again, if you've already done a pauper game, then i'll certainly look foolish for suggesting it lol

I would love to see a similar budget video but you can only buy sealed and maybe only allow 1 starter deck per person. Adds to the randomness and strategies of what packs to open and how many of each imo
Side stacking is illegal in the game. Inheritables need to be readable. Sorry you’ve lost a viewer
The game is originally designed for children, however I doubt that with the current prices they can actually play it without much money from their parents. However, it would be cool to create a serie of videos where you guys act like you get a weekly allowance that is par with what kids get these days from their parents. From there see if you can get a deck together before the next set comes out and be able to join a store championship. Just to show if kids these days can actually get that far. It would even be more awesome if you're able to even join a tournament with that. However that would require future knowledge of decks that get good enough within a certain time period to be meta decks.
The reason why I would love to see this: if kids are able to play the actual game, join a store championship with nice placement, join a tournament, all this with 5 or 10 dollar a week. XD Serie would be a weekly video of the progress, LGS plays, buying / trading cards and such. Would love to see such content!

Yeah it’s illegal in the main game too. It’s ashame he chooses to play the game in an illegal fashion.
The rules state the stack must have the inherited text shown at all times, it's against the rules to play like this

Surprised you took sealed as I reckon singles has a big advantage. One of the best things about Digimon is how you can build some really good decks on a budget, Green Hybrid for instance is exceptionally cheap and can still do well even in the current format.

Love your videos, I would love to see a guide for people just getting into Digimon I know we are nine sets deep but I also know a lot of people who want to start playing now but just don't know where to start or what there doing.
I just started these past few weeks, its crazy how playable bulk is. Not fantastic but a good jumping off point. I do agree that this wouldve been nice. But Slowly building black blocker jank into Knightmon has been satisfying lol
@@ashadonji8762 i started playing the game with D-Brigade, needed 30€ to buy the whole stuff I needed and had a easy to play deck that can compete with meta decks
Later I builded Dragon Linkz also for 20-30€
Of course its not the strongest, but Digimon is really low budget friendly

My brother and I just picked up the game and have been having a blast. I just made a Nomu deck and he's so much fun
So I have a question about the rules and I don't really know where to ask so I'm going to do so here. I'm really new to the game, but I have a background in card games for over 20 years. If you have a Digimon that gets the ability Security Check +1, and your opponent only has one security card left in their stack, what happens? Does the Digimon just check the singular card left in the stack, or does it do the one card, and then the second Security check would go through for lethal? Any advice is appreciated.
If they only have one security left and you have +1 security it only checks the security check it does not go for game you will need another digimon to attack or unsuspend the one you have and attack again directly.

Tbh I wouldn´t restrict starter deck cards in the single bought deck, they are usually more expensive when you buy them as singles same for promos.

Digimon Game Mode: World Ender (Raid Boss Game Mode)
Rules:
1. Must have 2-4 Players
2a. Roll Dice to see who becomes the World Boss.
2b. When playing with 3 or 4 Players everyone numbers themselves 1-4 and use a number generator or put names in a hat someone picks one or Ro Sham Bo.
Ro Sham Bo is 1. 2. Shoot. & Rock Paper Scissors 1. 2. 3. Shoot. (That's the difference)
3. World Boss Player can have 15 Max Memory (Stays 10 if only against 1 player)
4a. If it's a 1vs1 then world boss has a his Main deck at 55 (60 Cards against 2 or 3) and starts the game with Security and Hand Size with 6 cards.
4b. When the W.B.P. is against 2 or More Players increase Digi-Eggs to 6 And has a total Security and Hand Size of 7. (Security and Hand Size may change)
4c. World Boss Memory: W.B.P. Must Combine all of the memory that the players gave him at their End Phase.
5. The Non World Boss Player/Players Go First.
Optional Rules:
1. First Turn Draw (Since WBP has an advantage)
2. Can only use 1 copy of the Banned Cards.
Wait, did Yoshi go back and exchange his sleeves for Katanas? In the shot where he bought his peripherals, it looked like he got green Eclipses. Well, I can't blame him. Katanas are the best!

Does anyone know a reliable place to buy digimon cards online? My LGS doesn't have the best selection.
Best bet is browsing on TCG player and finding those shops that have a TON OF USEFULL C AND U cards for 5 cents a pop. Dont pay more for cards, find a shop you can build a lot of 5 cent or 10 cent cards and get what you want for 2 decks specifically

on deletion effects happens when a digimon is in trash. so its has to go last
Real shame ya couldn't hit a lighdramon, even one woulda made the deck so much more consistent. I also think 1 stingmon from the Ex-01 was super unlucky. Swapping to be blue base from the ulforce makes it real hard to get those green champions down for the dna digivolve. Getting the 2 green only digivolution champs outta the deck for stingmons or lighdramon could have made all the difference. The davis and ken was pretty lucky tho so maybe this was already better than average pulls for the scenario

Because singles already has a huge advantage of card selection, giving them access to cards from Structure decks just makes it more lopsided.

It is! I used to primarily play magic but now digimon is my main focus. I love the game flow and the memory system that the game uses. I still like playing commander with the guys but digimon just hits different for me

First time watching your channel but the one in the green sleves is shuffeling pretty bad since his bottom cards stay at the bottom which could either be considered cheating in tournamentssince you arent really randomizing your deck.
The singles guy not being able to buy starter deck cards and the sealed guy being allowed to by starters, is kinda BS

Digimon is actually incredibly cheap compared to most TCGs out rn. I play magic and digimon with my buddies and shopping for digimon is such a breath of fresh air compared to shopping for magic. You can get really cheap decks for digimon (cheaper than $100 even!) And still have a pretty viable and well put together deck.
Super dumb rule to not be able to buy singles from decks, and Sealsdramon isn't even from a deck.
It's ok because it's your first deck and probably your first game but watch out what the rule says : the digivolution cards MUST be placed vertically so that we can still read every inherited effect.

My lil sister got me one of the precon bundles for Christmas and they came with a pretty sweet set of memory counters that have that nice foil.
Buy singles... 100$ ? Building a meta deck with 100$ is pretty easy, if you remove the randomness.
100$ is a bit too much, digimon is a much cheaper to play specially if your buying singles

I actually have trouble PULLING __A PART__ pre-built structure Decks.
This is why I like to purchase 2 of the copies...
one to open and... mix and match.
The other is to never open or _one day_ open...
Ain’t no way to build a deck with just $100 bill, especially at frank n sons. All those card vendors will definitely jip you off buy and or sell. Most likely they agreed on the price for promoting them.
