Yes I did and I'm still very content with it, don't regret purchasing it at all! I love my F3, even more since the MIUI 12.5 update. I have the white 8/256 GB variant.

@@giulianoraggi1863 Camera is not as bad as y'all want to make it seem, sure it's not the best out there, but in my opinion, it's not a "no". It serves its purpose and it takes decent shots. If you install a GCam it improves the picture quality as well. I use my smartphones primarily as a mobile communication device, at the end of the day it's still a phone, not a professional DSLR camera. With that said, camera gets the job done.

I have been using this phone for almost 2 months now and I have been facing 2 issues.
1. Unable to use gestures with other UI since beginning.
2. After upgrade to MIUI 12.5, notifications space is occupied after removing the music player

Is there any information about the newest MIUI update removing the option to stop recieving notifications/forced ads? Is it true that on the newest MIUI update, there's no way to turn those off anymore?
I’ve had it about 2 months now and yes I’ve ran into the same music bug, also a handful of other minor quirks that I’ve written down and plan to send to xiaomi, but honestly I really had to look and nit pick so I gotta say (and I have no reason to be biased), even with the few minor quirks they were just that, this phone is in all rights a beast and beyond worth the money, it’ll do everything you could possibly want it to do and more, it’s just a matter of hashing out some ui quirks.
After the couple months I’ve had the phone my following quirks and suggestions briefly are as follows:
Quirks with themes (for a system customization app it could be a lot more user friendly, it’s as incredibly roundabout as it is incredibly useful lol)
Quirks with game turbo settings (the Restrict buttons and gestures during games feature seems not to work regardless if on, even if I’m in dnd -do not disturb mode-, all other features seem to work as intended tho especially the actual performance features)
I’d love a built in crop feature for videos there isn’t one you’d have to download an app
I’d also love if they were to add floating windows as an option to implement for a shortcut and have an option to float window in multitasking after holding down
also I’d love an option to see the full name of apps on the Home Screen (through the poco launcher that is, ofc it’s an android it’ll support any launcher or ui feature)
Basic xiaomi system apps won’t work on the global version of the ui, meaning xiaomi text phone and contacts apps, as well as app vault and certain functions of device well-being, all of these features on the GLOBAL ui might seem installed but you won’t be able to use them in any way, your provided google communication apps so if you don’t like any of those you’ll need to use the play store for communication apps and set them as your default (personally I don’t mind google contacts and phone but for texting I use textra), and if you want app vault (it’s xiaomis shortcut creation app), or the ability to count your steps through device wellbeing, you’ll need to download other apps.
Satisfied especially with gaming, it can play all games with high graphics without dropping framerate. Just wished that they made the battery 5000mAh. Overall, I enjoyed and still enjoying my POCO F3.

Will this work on AT&T and their MVNOs in the U.S? Some people online said it will not work with AT&T along with the X3 Pro also.

Yeh Frankie, the recent music player glitch is literally driving me INSANE, thanks for actually highlighting it!
No matter how many times it's swiped away, it reappears, handy I guess, but the OCD in me likes to CLEAR notifications and have them stay CLEAR once removed.
BTW I bought this phone on your review recommendation and I haven't been disappointed, the speed is insane, got this at launch for $353 approx £250.

I experienced a lot of stuttering while playing genshin impact on miui 12.5, previously on miui 12 never faced that issue with the same graphic settings
I've run into the same music player bug as well. Using a Poco X3 Pro with MIUI 12.5. Also....is there a way to disable native apps using a MIUI device?? I am not sure how to do so

I bought two of them, one is rooted and running a custom rom which has been running flawlessly. The last Xiaomi phone I had was a Mi Max and I wasn't a fan of MIUI then and I'm still not so I'm thankful we're able to unlock the bootloader and install other Roms. Also, Gcam turns the camera into something much better. You don't even have to be unlocked or rooted to install it. I'm surprised everyone doesn't just use gcam as the photo quality is much better. The stock camera quality is not so good.

Hi Frankie, yes I bought the 8GB white version, and love it. However you are right about the software bugs, which otherwise sour a perfectly solid phone, even the cameras aren't that bad. I'm sure they'll get it sorted in future updates, but for the money really happy. (previous phone was Huawei Mate 20X)

How about the screen dimming issue and the proximity sensor issue?
To remove the persistent music notification, you need to install a MIUI notification apk. Stumbled on it while searching for solution, it resolved it completely. I think it is bug of MIUI 12.5 generally.
What specifically apk? Can you tell me? I'm annoyed by that notification (Spotify won't go away on notification bar). Thanks!

Been using mine for more than 2 months and I only have great things to say about it: the screen, the performance, the overall value - all terrific. The music player bug that was brought on by the 12.5 update can be fixed by downloading then installing the apk of the latest version of the 'Notifications' app. Worked for me.
Where did you download that notifications app?
APKmirror. Just search the issue on reddit and one of the comments provided the specific link for the download.

From time to time the brightness would go down when I'm playing CODM but I think it's because I'm covering the ambient light sensor which is hidden below the screen. I don't think it's an issue though.

The Motorola Edge 20 Pro has almost the same price as the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE, that can actually deliver better performance, sound, protection, camera features, recording and display.

Watching on Poco f3.... Been using over Month .. very satisfied !
I bought this phone last year and initially was very satisfied. However after the recent updates, I'm starting to reconsider if I've actually made a good decision. Hopefully these glitches as well as the poor ram management (which was good on the previous miui versions) would be fixed soon. It's starting to get a bit annoying specially considering the hardware this device is running on.
Does the blue color only available in 8/256 variant?
Yeah just got mine yesterday. So far i am observing its battery performance after the recent update. I did an antutu benchmark and i only got 576809 for both 60 and 120hz refresh rate.
What version of antutu did you run v.8 or the v.9?
Also experienced the notification bug. The messenger bubble heads bug. and some other application optimization. But still a beaaaast! :)
That bug is fixed after update and Messenger bubble is android 11 feature ,you cant fix it

Can anyone confirm if there is working mhl video output on f3? Have dock with hdmi and 3 USB a inputs which I'm using with my s10. Watching videos while bored in work.
Some of the bugs I've noticed is it stutters when searching on Google which is quite annoying at times. You have to either reload the app or the page.
the issue is that the music player does not actually close
you can force stop the application from the settings and there is no need to reboot it then
I like mine, I think it's decent, even the cameras since I come from a mi9 (similar system)

Basically set your screen to 120 Hz refresh rate, turn auto brightness off, go to google’s incognito mode in the browser and set your brightness to 0-25%, and try to be in a dark room, and check if the screen has any green discoloration. Let me know please.
