I was standing outside my local on a warm summer evening shortly before the pandemic altered our existence(2019???).There was a gentleman standing talking to a mate who had a lovely Glaswegian accent (this was in Toronto).We struck up a conversation. He introduced himself as Paolo from Glasgow. I loved what l knew about Paolo Nuttini but had no idea what he looked like.l mentioned that one myfavorite artists was Paolo Nuttini. He said '" Steve it's me".We hung out for the entire evening

How is it possible that being this song the most powerful, talented, enormous, great that I have heard in my life, I did not know about it until today, being from 2014? It is incredible that I had to discover it after having listened to someone sing it on The Voice, how is this possible? It should have been a global milestone in 2014 when it came out and should be known by everyone who loves music.

I read or heard somewhere that he wrote this song when he was very young like 18 or 19. Well to write such a deep meaningful song at that age is, well, amazing. Truly a way underestimated artist, probably 1 of the best, if not the best out there. BRILLIANT
Hunt around here for fanvids of "Birdy", that's what this song was called when they were trying it out and building it up before the record came out. there's also a few that fans just called 'new song' fascinating to hear the differences.

This song literally gives me a wave of a chill throughout my mind and the rest of my body, every time I hear it. A voice, song, talent like Paolo, Little Fish, emotionally and physically moves me in a way no other artist has. I first saw him in S.F. California during These Streets US Tour.
