It’s 2023 and Mo rendition is still iconic and unmatched. That young man dug deep with his soul with that one. It was raw and unforced, just pure. I hope he’s doing great things now.

But as I always feel on any of these singing competitions, if a great singer loses or wins but doesn’t get far the judges need to step in. They should arrange for their record label to sign them. They want to win but not help.

Yeah no. Technical ability does not a story tell. And her technical ability alone isn't on par with Mo, even just in this montage. Add in storytelling (she's flat, there's none), and emotion (again, she's flat - there's none), and Mo owns her all round.

Sophie has a good voice too, but she completely lacks the angst of the song that Mo expresses so well. Didn't at all connect with Bat-Od either (and his vocals are the weakest of the three).

iron sky - my favourite song ever. mo had me absolutely stunned. he killed it. i’ve listened to plenty of covers of that iconic paolo nutini song and that was my favourite one, by far!
Mo, so much emotion, like Paolo it felt like it made a statement. People may be able to sing Paolo's notes but I think Mo also conveyed some of his frustration and soul. Amazing
