Can- am dropped the ball on their headlights. I have the exact same machine,I purchased two sets of LED's off of Amazon took 15 min. To change all four. I added a 12" quad row lightbar just under the winch and added two 32" single row light bars above the windshield. All together they are amazing, but any single upgrade mentioned will make a good difference.
I have a 2022 xmr max the 4 door I love it I have the thumper, fab roof and doors matching color coated. They’re expensive, but they make high-quality stuff.
Off Road Town lights on Amazon are awesome for the money. I spent way too much money to put Rigid lights on my first side by side and decided to give these a try to save money (a lot of money) they work just as well, do not have moisture problems, absolutely no issues. My brother bought the same light for his rig as well and loves them. They have a very large selection of lights to choose from so you should have no issues finding the ones to meet your needs.
I have purchased several "Off road King" light bars off Amazon and they are great for the price. I ran 3 of them for 3 years on my old Defender with no problems at all.
I would change to LED bulbs in the lights! I just purchased a limited and that’s what I plan on doing right away. Aux light has them . Thanks for the review.
Thanks for watching. Funny you mention the limited. I actually wasn't seriously looking at UTV/SxS's until I saw a limited at an auction. That got me into the rabbit hole of Polaris, CanAM, Honda, etc.... I liked the limited, but I also like the feeling of outdoors. I have a 1st Gen tacoma if I want to wheel in heat and A/C (checkout my videos). I decided I didn't want the hassle of those items on a SxS. I wanted to step up from my Polaris 850 ATV into something different but still retain some connection with my environment around me. Checkout my other vids! I'll make more!
I put 52in light bars on all mine, you don’t have to buy a expensive one, Amazon or eBay 60-70 bucks , if you bust it your not outta much, I use keep cj7 mounting brackets about 15 bucks, works great on defenders , mount it just high enough to miss the class when open, pods on rear
If you still have problems with the mirrors, tighten the bolt behind the can-am logo on the backside of mirror. Plastic logo piece pops right out with a screwdriver.
They make specific plates that mount at the roof front and the back for adding things like lights and windshield wipers. I'm really shocked at the prices of the light bars. Nothing on these things is cheap. That power steering issue, the door upper seal and mirror problem is a sad testament to their quality control. I'm going to find an aftermarket solution for the mirrors. It's a beast.
I went with some light bas n eBay. Had to make up some spacers and what not but the CanAm light bar for the front is over $800 Plus. I just cannot see that... Quality control is something lacking in a ton of places. Thanks for watching. Stay tuned for my light bar update!
With the fixed windshield and doors how would rate the cabin heat? I have a 22 Commander and if the front windshield is completely closed in the summer I get extensive heat. Thinking about the same machine as yours.
I purchased in September and haven't experienced a lot of warm days. Nothing since the point has caused me to be concerned. I would imagine if you are in Moab and it's 100 it's going to be warm. However, if moving, you can crack this windshield open a little to get airflow. Will see how things check out this summer.
You have a cap on the mirror its say can am on it just remove that and you gonna have a bolt tight that bolt that gonna tigh your mirror so its gonna stay in place when your gonna go out for a ride
I've owned 2 different Can Am side-x-sides in the last 5 years. Both of them made the same noise from the power steering. I never had an issue with it though.

With min you have to re adjust the headlights down.i bought led bulbs and they work so well.i also put a light bar on the top of the roof.

No sport mode. There's a trail mode.
Have you tried other Defenders? Curious if the ride was stiff on XMR.

There are. Depends on what you want. I went aftermarket for rear window. For the roof and front windshield I went BRP.
My power steering does the same thing
Yep...replaced it and it's quieter but still there. I guess it's normal???
