I've have a 2014 Sorento LX FWD I got used with the 4 cylinder engine and I love it. I like the body lines of the third generation better than the direction they're going. Thing is my Sorento LX is just a glorified front drive car, and that's fine for me. It's a little underpowered but I'm in no hurry, and it's got enough power when I need to get on the on ramp or pass on the highway, that's all I need. I'm never going to tow anything other than the baggage of a misspent youth and it has the tow capacity for that. The gas mileage isn't great but I don't drive much. The interior is wonderful, very comfortable, stereo is lacking, but it's a really nice environment to drive in, very comfortable, very enjoyable.
Well, my 22 non-turbo base model all-wheel-drive is pretty fast… How about learning how to drive and not abusing your vehicle by flooring it everywhere you go
Ridiculous video. Under powered? No,, all models except the base have turbo. Towing? Give me a break. Nobody is buying this for towing. And other silly reasons. I encourage everyone to give this vid a thumbs down like I did.
I have a 2008 Hond Accor LX that has 277,000 miles on it. It is a 4 cylinder engine. I don't need turbo or hybrid. I live around the Chicago area, and a SUV is need in these areas. I don't care about the three seats. It is just me and my wife. I have never towed anything or did off road driving. At 57 years of age, I am just looking for something that is reliable, does not have start/stop, CVT. I am just looking for a naturally aspirated engine with the old school transmission. With the way vehicles are made now days and all the added fuel efficiency, I am seeing a lot of problems. As long as it drives and does not give me any maintenance issues, I am good with it. Is the 2025 Kia Sorento a good choice to buy? Also does the Sorento come with those airline seats. I don't like that look. lol
Just about all youtube care reviews always say cars are sluggish not good for highway speed. What are they expecting a SUV to do. I have a sportage with a 2.5 liter 4 cylinder. They say same thing sluggish. In real life it is just fine. I'm sure the Sorento is also
Americans... 1. In Australia we have 2.4 turbo diesel. It has 324.5 foot-pound of torque and AWD. 2. Diesel has better fuel economy too. 3. And better towing. 4. We don't use third row. 5. And this fixes cargo problems. 6. Pricing is comparable to rivals.
True. Here in the US, our jackass politicians, the Environmental Protection Agency, and the CARB (California Air Resource Board) have RUINED our abilities to buy diesel powered vehicles, for the most part.
everything mentioned here is a stat that anyone can easily find online. how about reliability, handling performance, actual cost of ownership, how easy it is to work on................ none of these?!?!?!?!
I own a 2023 Sorento SX prestige it’s amazing the 8 speed dual clutch is fine is my eyes I’ve had no issues in the 2 years I’ve owned so I disagree with what you said
@ mines Sapphire blue I walked into the dealer wanting that color turned out one arrived from the factory a few minutes before i got there and thankfully it was available i bought it and took delivery that day 17k miles so far

Excelente SUV. ZERO ROBLEMS IN 5 YEARS, just regular oil & filter change.

Yeah.. that’s right, it’s not like your buying a sports car.
Ridiculous video. Under powered? No,, all models except the base have turbo. Towing? Give me a break. Nobody is buying this for towing. And other silly reasons. I encourage everyone to give this vid a thumbs down like I did.
And yet, when I look at the stats, there isn't a single thumbs down...
How is the highway mpg worse than city?

This is one of the top PHEV options out there. don't listen to this channel, they only have 4k subs.
Well i still like it. Hopped in one and fell in love.
What’s a better vehicle to purchase that’s similar?
Americans...

Can you fit a kangaroo in the third row?
@@trumpius_maximus47 Couple of wallabies perhaps.
@ Nice

🤡, 2020 Sorento Ex V6 is Excellent. Just change the oil every 5k miles with the filter. Zero problems.

I have the exact same one and I have kids I haul around on a daily basis lol I absolutely love my Sorento!
@ yeah I’ve got 2 kids I haul around btw what color is yous
White. I wanted a diff color but it was the last Sorento on the lot so I didn't have a choice lol
@ mines Sapphire blue I walked into the dealer wanting that color turned out one arrived from the factory a few minutes before i got there and thankfully it was available i bought it and took delivery that day 17k miles so far
The 2025 prestige model is good my family just got one a couple months ago the only problem is the luggage space but besides that it’s a good car
It's crazy Kia hired a Audi designer and BOOM Kia makes good looking cars
Nice try Diddy
It's a good car wat is he taking about I have it nothing is wrong
In the US it's a no Brainer. I would buy it at once. In Europe the price is unfortunately nearly 100% higher.
Still love this vehicle❤
I love mine
Now who and why would anyone spend time and effort to create a video just to discourage people to buy a specific car? 😂
This guy needs help 😂 the 2025 is awesome
I thought this was an owner review. This is merely gospel at best.
Where buying a four-cylinder not a race car 🤣
Nice try Diddy!
Comparing plums to peaches. Low level biased "analysis". 🤣😂
SI-System
What the hell .. I love my sorrento
