Hiya Kevin, fantastic video mate, love the lakes and the river. Always take me places where I would never go , and as you know wheelchair bound now all the hikes I go with you, I enjoy very much , Thank you mate❤. Take care X X X
Hello Kevin, I see your planning a trip to the west coast, with winter coming its a great idea, I have mentioned it before that Powell River is an amazing unique town that has endless possibilities for free camping, hiking, fishing and its a safe town to hunker down for the winter, I have lived here my whole life and sometimes we dont even get a snow fall, just lots of rain, If I was in your position This area would be my destination, I have lived and worked in Alberta in the winter and you know that a camper no matter how insulated is no match for 40 below, In PR it rarely gets below freezing, I have trout fished and hiked year round, Just get the ferry at horseshoe bay then drive the peninsula past seshelt until you get to Earls cove then one more boat to Saltery bay, You wont regret it man, If you get this msg let me know and I could give a few suggestions when you arrive, Drive safe
I think this is why I like your channel when I want to leave alberta and go for a ride your doing it for me it’s like I don’t have to drive. Thanks Kevin sis in Alta.😊
Starlink is amazing. I am watching your vid right now where you are out-off Lillooet,. We are at Teslin Lake, south of Whitehorse Sept 16th. Fall colours are amazing. Being connected is possible. Thanks Starlink
The Duffy is a special drive but ya, it’s unpredictable. Starlink has been a game changer. So nice to not have to chase cell service. Hopefully it’ll make life a little easier for you Kevin.
I think I was in my mid teens when we found shuswap lake provincial park. It became our goal to place for the month of July. We spent our days at the beach. Good times, I haven't returned in 43 years. Bright legs! It was hard on my eyes! Tee hee! After summer is over, shorts are on clearance sale, go stock up somewhere, like a Canadian superstore, stop supporting American stores
Your camper looks like a mansion compared to my 2017 Cache Camper slide in. I bought it specifically for my GMC 1500. It's built to fit a6 ft bed and I can close the tailgate. Mine is a cab over as well for sleeping arrangements and I don't have any holding tanks but has an enclosed bathroom ( I changed out the chemical toilet for a composting head.) and it has an AC/Heating unit in the roof I power off a Honda 2000 generator. I use a 2 step folding step stool and my tailgate doubles as a porch deck. Mine only weighs 1100 lbs empty. I could live like a king in yours!
I saw a man on a SUP with a small motor at the back, today. Never seen that before but it seemed to work just fine. Funny to see, though. I've even seen a SUP Rowing board with oars. Just mentioning this in case it appeals to you. Happy boating!
Thanks for the videos Kevin. I have been binge watching them all week! One piece of advice I would like to give you. You didn't have to go through the hassle of sending the Starlink to your home mail box back in Alberta. With Starlink you can set a separate service address from a mailing address and your mailing address can be anywhere. So you could have just sent it to any Canada Post office as 'General Delivery' and they would receive the package on your behalf. Done it many times myself...
I was tempted to camp at that pull out area when I was through Kamloops. There's a wicked campground just north of it though. I think it was Pinegrove or Pinecone RV & Campground. nice place!
when I was Alberta a couple of years and I was talking with guy who had a chassis mount camper it was a pretty cool camper till I researched and the price is insane but your camper seem to be pretty nice and roomy and I'm sure yours didn't cost haft a mill
@@KevinWaldsAdventuresSame stairs setup on my outfit except minus the bottom adjustment. Its the only thing I don’t like otherwise truck campers are the answer.
Incredible views Kevin! You've probably done it already, but someday, I'd love to see a tutorial on the apps you use, maps, etc to find your crown land spots? We all have a system, but you RUclipsrs are the best at it. I always look forward to your videos. You and Kenny!
Bro, another amazing video well done! I notice you’re out of order now. Knowing you have Starlink now I wanted you to stay up by the landslide haha. Also, my one request for ya is to pop a chair up at some of these creeks and take a load off. Haha. Enjoying your travels! 👊
Yeah, anyone parking smack beside when there is room to park at least one stall over, don't understand n it makes me nervous. Check out 'the time is now adventures' utuber, he just built an aluminum deck n stairs on their camper. What was name of that free campground? 🍻
Hello Kevin how are you today is your truck a Diesel or gas beautiful views free camping is the best here from Ontario Canada ❤️❤️❤️❤️🇨🇦🇨🇦😎 I am sharing your video on my Facebook page publicly ok
Excited to see some whistler/vancouver island content. I grew up on the island, and used to visit whistler bike park during the summer. You mention dumping the tanks, how long do they last, and are you using the shower in the camper at all? Keep up the great content.
I dump the tanks about once a week, that’s with me having 3 showers though, I could prob get a 4th shower in but the black tank is usually the first to be full
Hey Kevin, I've been watching your videos for a bit and recently bought my own Northern Lite camper! I was wondering what brand bike rack you use. I'm looking for a good one to put on my ladder. Safe travels!
Mine is home made, I used a thru axle fork mount and then I scrapped a old bike rack and took the tire carrier off it and mounted it so not all the pressure would be hanging on the fork. It’s a bit to get to work but after 10000km of no troubles it’s my favorite set up!
Had my Dodge diesel truck stolen out of the parking lot at the Marble campground last year while I watched from across the way while ice climbing. Not awesome.
Looking at getting into full time truck camper life. Are you ever worried about anyone breaking into your truck cab while you're asleep in the camper? Any horror stories of that happening to anybody?
I had a guy come up to my door once in the middle Of nowhere, said he was just out for a walk. I talked to him a bit from my door and kept my personal info to myself. I think he knocked to see if anyone was inside. If I wasn’t there he would have probably tried to steal stuff. Scary in the moment but honestly not enough to worry me.

Nice video Kevin, safe travels
Those stairs have an adjustable lower leg pegs so you can level those stairs easily
The tork lift ones do not mine, the tork lift ones are way better stairs but a bit pricey for me

Hello. Can you tell me what bike rack you use that attaches to your ladder?. Thanks!
I made it myself actually, thru axle mount for the fork and part of an old bike rack to hold the rear tire
jackstands want paint!
Who is we your not the only one who says this lol I be seeing one person and maybe a pet or two and van life they say we lol ❤

Yes the truck does have AC, it’s the only luxury option it came with 😂
