Had a lesson with Mike today also got to chat with Brandon & Tom from avoda. Excited to get my fit done soon. Those irons are gorgeous & all those guys are good people
For me and that whole crew you can really tell they are all a passionate about golf! Glad to hear the positive experience. Let me know how the fitting goes if you get the chance 👍
Thanks for sharing the experience! I’ve not gone thru a full blown iron fit, but have had the chance to demo different clubs/shafts to find a good combo for me. Anyone that wants to get better really needs a set of clubs that works with their swing.
For sure! I was so gassed by the end of this whole session but it was eye opening. Figure if I'm still going to go one length I better make sure it's for me by someone who plays one length. Thanks for watching 🤙
Man that makes me want to get fit for new irons! With the new iron build, 4 up and with 60g shafts, did ballflight change a lot for you?? And if you got these, can't wait to see the first round with them!
Yeah I got a set! As for the ball flight I did see some distance increase however, the clubs are a degree stronger than my current gamers. In terms of trajectory it didn't appear to be a significant change. They felt amazing and given the light shaft I felt like I was yeeting that ball haha. We will we see on course that will be the true test but that won't be for a while (have other vlogs to catch up on).
This comment made my day haha. Bump and run gang let's go! What if I just spent a majority of the fitting on the flightscope focusing on bump and run data 😂
@@GolfParfection BRG! I can see Brandon asking you what shot you need to be able to do in the fitting and you tell him that if it can’t bump and run it ain’t it.
A very polarizing player but Bryson DeChambeau put the company on the map with his custom irons made by this company. I saw that they also offered a single length set and they were located where I am originally from. So that’s how I came into contact with them. We will see how they perform on course once I get them im excited 😃
Hey there! Wasn’t given a specific time but let’s just say I got fitted on the 6th this month and clubs are still not in hand today the 24th. They have a ton of builds to do since the brands recent popularity 👍
Hi, I am Darren from Germany. With a height of 1.77 meters and a weight of 80 kilograms, I have an athletic and balanced physique, which gives me stability and control in my golf swing. Current I am playing the Wilson Launchpad 2 clubs at regular graphit shafts, and I achieve a consistent carry distance of 135 meters with my 7-iron. I’m considering using one length irons set to the length of a 9-iron, since it’s my most reliable club. However, I’ve been advised by many that the shaft might be too short to achieve the distance that I need. Could this shorter length impact my performance, or could it still be a helpful setup for improving my consistency across LW - i5 irons? Thx for your feedback!
Hey there! I am really in no position to advise on this question so I would suggest either emailing the company or giving them a DM on instagram. Good luck!
haha did he say most OEMs dont use the correct head when doing the shaft fitting? almost every real fitter will keep the head when using different shafts 🤦
Yup, that is what Brandon said. Cannot assume or speak on why he holds that view. If in your experience that is not the case it's good for others to know who read the comments! Thank you 🙏
unless he didnt show other one length irons this is an awful fitting. you have to fit the shorter clubs in single length too cant just go off 5 iron numbers
Hey there! Valid point, you should definitely hit the higher number clubs if trying one length in a fitting. However, imo the main inhibitor to one length is the speed/height of the lower number clubs hence showing the 5i. Off camera I briefly hit the wedges to ensure that they were what I liked but there was some blind trust in my current swing/ability being able to hit the higher end of the bag. Cheers and thanks for the comment. If you have personally had a one length fitting would love if you shared your experience in a comment 👍
@@GolfParfection ya i have tried them. I like the longer irons a bit shorter and hit them well. but anything lower than 8 iron i really struggled with. Im a fairly high speed player so it was near impossible to keep the flights down. especially wedges. they ballooned almost instantly. Had i tried only 5 iron i would have went one length but as soon as i tried scoring irons it was a total wrong fit for me.
Excellent point and knowledge shared! I took the fact that I don’t have that similar problem (probably because of my lower swing speed lol) into account and should have mentioned it or shown me trying out the scoring clubs in the one length shafts as well but time and fatigue did not allow for it. One again appreciate you sharing this insight for others 🤙
@@GolfParfection Hey thanks so much for this video which was insightful. ¨ Can I know what is your 7i swing speed and Driver swing speed approximately? I want to know because I had another single length brand where I had that problem of not being able to get the 3i up in the air enough and the wedges were a little too high as well. Thank you!!
@@jaycee1192 what about you Jaycee? what is your 7i swing speed and driver swing speed? Which set of single length clubs where you using and which shafts that you couldn't keep your wedges flight down? I'm asking because so I can sort out as many doubts as possible before ordering. Thank you!

Same! I’m anxious to get these in the course and see if getting fit pays off 😄

That’s wild! I thought I was getting a big difference. I was 1 up now I’m 2 downv
We will see when I get these on a course with real grass! Maybe I’ll hit them like utter shite but excited to get them on grass asap! Haha
@@GolfParfection hope you enjoy them
Love the light shafts man, just think about all that weight you’ll save when you carry
This fitting is missing one big component that’s bump and run ability

More of these type of videos! Also curious, what got you interested in these brand/model club heads, I’ve never heard of them?

Do they sell blades? Would like to see a lower handicap fitting.. I just hate CB
This is currently the only retail model they have. That and a utility iron which is out or coming soon!
How do they not test your spin?
Good stuff. What's the build time?

You must be quite wealthy to get these clubs! Just saying.
