Yknow its pretty cool how in-depth your opinions and analysis's of various fighting game content and characters are they really put me into the mood on playing theme and give knowledge of making my own
You should! we could always use more perspectives! Too many people play these games but don’t share what they know. I’m not some pro lumina player, but I’ve played enough where I can talk about the game on a semi-confident level.
I recall she had a "Boss mode" when she was a giant. Also Ive seen mugen variants of her as Akiha Yagami meaning she uses a variation of Iori's moveset.
I'm glad a setplay-style character is so strong, you don't often get that in other fighters! I just started playing recently and I'm blown away by how fun and moderately she is so pick up. Thanks for the easy breakdown!
No problem I make the videos so people can have an easier time picking a main and getting into the game. If you like set play you should also try Hisui and Kohaku individually or as the duo.
On the topic of characters being based on a certain moon style, Roa is based on his Half style instead of his Crescent style, right? A "True Roa" character based on his C or F style (and with his old hair) would be pretty nice.
F-Roa was pretty fun if not a little basic but he got the job done. They definitely picked H-moon Roa because he fit the best in lumina although I’d love to see a modern take on C-Roa.
It's all but confirmed that TM is saving VAkiha for after Red Garden's release, though using F-Seifuku as the "normal" Akiha is more surprising. Though regular, non-uniformed Akiha seems to be just plain gone... for now, at least. I guess a more "classic" Akiha is off-limits for FB since she could have a Last Arc that could spoil what TM has in store for the Far side remake (Basing off the pattern of Arc & Ciel's)? Another conjecture of mine is that C-Akiha & her Vermillion counterpart would be folded into a single character under the latter, but we'd never know. Type-Moon is rather meticulous about TL potentially spoiling what future plans they have in store for Tsuki Remake, and that is my _one_ pet peeve in what is otherwise a good game.
Being connected to the remake is the game’s ultimate Achilles heel. Once we get the second part of the remake, the floodgates will open, but that’s if and when we get part 2 of lumina which I don’t doubt considering how well the game has done, but we don’t know until we know you know?
I wasn't initially an Akiha main; I played Mash during the game's free weekend on Steam and had fun with her, but once I actually got the game some time after, I liked Mash less due to how slow she felt (I don't dislike slow characters at all, I do occasionally play them, but in Mash's case, it eventually warranted a character change). I don't remember how I came to the conclusion that Akiha should be my new main, but she probably clicked the most with me. I don't usually gravitate towards setplay characters (I tend to have mains that are pure rushdown), but something about how Akiha played, setting up Wheel and getting punished for it due to Shield (I'm far from the best at MBTL) just clicked with the most. She's fun, even if I suck at playing her and the game lol. Tldr, Akiha just felt the most fun to play over my old main.
In the months leading up to Type Lumina's announcement I'd abruptly swapped mains to F.Seifuku in Actress Again. Imagine my surprise when this niche, rarely-used variant of Akiha became the basis for her Type Lumina incarnation... and in much stronger form at that.
Glad to see someone finally gets how her name is supposed to be pronounced. I hope V.Akiha is more like her orinal design or H Moon. PD: Why did FB think her EX command grab was better with that awful input?
The input is like that due to command overlap. She has specials on every motion so they used that input instead, it’s a fairly standard input in other fighters like kof and guilty gear
I have literally nothing of importance to contribute to this discussion However I'll play Type Lumina when Ryougi Shiki gets added in the nothing future.
They had every opportunity to add her and had no excuse not to, but they chose F/Go over peak. By that logic, I can only assume that she will be the last character to ever be added to this newest version of Melty blood in 2037.
I was interested in this character when MBTL was announced since I played F-VAkiha in MBAACC, and she was the only version of Akiha in the game. However they are nothing alike most disappointingly she is significantly less mobile.
Yeah they’re significantly different. If Arcuied and Ciel can get their counterparts in the game hopefully Akiha can too because there a lot of cool things they could do with those variations in Lumina
@@Drzuul All we could do is let Nasu cook. It's gonna be a big, rich pot of stew full of deep flavors but it's gonna take a while (and we're halfway there)
That’s an idea I’ve actually had. The only problem is It’s kind of hard to find information. I gotta do some real leg worth but mbacc has some really interesting characters so if I find anything good it’s 100% becoming a video
i havent played this game in like a year and i totally forgot akiha has a command grab omg. i play akiha just because i love setplay and aoko didnt drop yet and i got too good with akiha to want to swap LOLLLLL.
I'll be honest watching this makes me want to get back into playing Type Lumina, or Melty Blood in general. I was a Nanaya, Vermillion Akiha, with a bit of Chaos and Warachia on the side main. So with Nanaya, Chaos, and Warachia not in Type Lumina, I gravitated towards Akiha, but the auto combos kept getting in my way. I know they fixed the auto combos and I played a tiny bit when Ushiwakamaru was added into the game but not much. But playing Tsukihime Remake (Just finished it) is giving me that itch. But I'm not sure if I want to pick up Type Lumina, or Actress Again.
Lumina and Mbacc have active discord communities I highly recommend. you should check out the mizuumi wiki it has links to both plus a ton of helpful info for getting back into both games. Losing all of your mains is definitely hard I feel you. Hopefully one day everyone can get their character in Lumina
Noted, red arc is pretty cool in this game with the mix of projectiles and rush down. Also her combos and conversations can be insane. Thanks for watching

That would be G-Akiha the final boss of the last route in the original Melty Blood. She is very annoying.

I had a similar experience with Kohaku as a secondary. You never know who you’re going to click with until you try.

MMMM YES!! Praise Akiha more truly the best girl, the oujosama council is very happy with this video

@@Drzuul It used to be a 63214X in AACC, but it got changed to 632146X for TL. I don't see why the change if she doesn't have a 63214X in TL.
Nice, thanks for new episode. Look forward for new characters too!!

Melty balance sounds like a fire series, bett
very interesting analysis of akiha. keep it up! (Shinoa from psa)

Subbed for waifu 👍🏽
I'm by no means amazing at Melty, but Akiha became my main as I love her shenanigans and movement.
I respect the dedication
@@Drzuul There is no dedication stronger than "waifu dedication" 😅
Love to see the MBTL content. I vote Mario, Mash, DA Noel next :)

Would it be interesting to cover the history of Melty Blood characters? A competitive history?

id love you too make a red arcueid video like this!

best girl akiha 😍😍😍
mbtl replays the goat
bruh imagine MBTL unreal engine 5
I'm still sad they didn't pick crescent seifuku. I miss soko de spam.
its soko ne
its very likely they didnt put her in because 1.shes harder to pick up compared to fsei 2.ppl HAAAAAAAAAATE c-sei
I need soko de in lumina ASAP
Wait- brilliant wheel seems to be just like Kuon from UNI, no?
More of the opposite since MBTL came out first
He copied her vibe, not cool!
I'd say she's more vaguely Carmine in general than anything else
(besides, Kuon's wheels looks closer to Classic Warc's)
that kind of move has been in fighting games since darkstalkers
tbh i just hope real akiha is guaranteed once red moon is released. they just can leave off the game og akiha gone broooo
Exactly I want the real Akiha seifuku probably isn’t even a real word
