Not really, just cause you are sitting at the station and you get a call doesn’t mean you can leave without getting manpower first cause you can’t really do shit on a call by yourself
I would had waited till another driver or a CPR certified member showed up because 9 times out of 10, they will want one of us to go to the ER with them to help work the patient in the ambulance. Which in this scenario I did. And our department rule of thumb is always *Must have two to roll.*
@@NathanielTexas lol nice bro, thanks for liking my comment! And hey quick question.. what program did you use on your computer to program your lights? Future volunteer firefighter here

Probably against SOP. At least in my department you can't POV to the scene unless it's EMS related and your EMS certified but even then, POVs to the scene are limited.
@@robertmahoney5523 He is correct actually. I also ended up going with the ambulance crew to the ER working the patient. Make more sense to take the truck to where someone could bring the truck back to station.
Dang man, it’s gonna be such a blessing when you can drive, you could have been out the door in one minute
I agree! I’m so ready for it
What do you have to do to be cleared to drive?

@@NathanielTexasit says fire call. So it was an ems call?
thank you for what you do may god bless you
Dude those times sound like an air raid siren the hell
I love that model 2 it sounds really loud and healthy👍
If you were cleared to drive, would you have just rolled solo to this call or waited for more to arrive?

@@NathanielTexas. Depends on how long it will take, personal vehicle to scene is ideal instead of waiting for them
I love that siren
Love the videos keep up the great work
1:13 i thought at first that was a chips ahoy cookie box 🤣
That actually made me smile 😂😂😂
Can you give us a video of the station siren?
Sounds like a Federal model.2
I loved the federal signal model 2 outside, but it was creepy.
Was turning the gas line off on the stove really necessary? And with vice grips attached to it? LOL
Yes. I believe if you don't, gas will still leak through the burners and since that stove is so old, I wanted to make sure it was off all the way. lol
Can you make some more full videos?
On the way!
dude great video! i heard a federal model 2 siren
Yeah same I also think it is a model 2
that was my fav part
What was the button for on the wall was that to cancel the station siren?
That button is to either activate or shut the siren down
@ ah already thanks I know my station has 2 buttons for the siren
Are you not certified to drive?
Wasn't 21 yet. LOL

So seconds dont matter?
Every second matters. Can’t do anything when I was 19 and don’t have a driver.
