Everything you say I need I have no access to. No church, small group, nothing. I have no choice but to do it myself.
I do genealogy and interview older people. Most of these people leave me feeling such peace. Most are Christians. I can not explain the peace they give me. I leave them praising God. I am 76 now. I miss visiting the older persons in their 90’s .
What an awesome man in these four dimensions.
I used to ride my Harley out to Saddleback Church just to hear him.

Thank you Pastor Rick for delivering an enlightening, awesome and encouraging message today. The message has opened up my eyes to the decisions I always face with others and the battle to say "No" to them. It also helps me decide of continual volunteering at my church is the "purpose" the Lord has for my life. I've always focused on the Lord prior to the work there and it has been challenging and tiresome. I have to make the Lord the #1 priority and everything else in my life secondary. Both Corrie Ten Boom and Dietrich Bonhoeffer were focused in the Psalms to help them through their persecution. So, I guess their experience tell us that is the place to start.
I am still struggling to find my calling. How do you find your calling? Listening to his sermon helps me remind myself how to live my life and what to focus on but still I am struggling with depression and loneliness..
I’m praying for you. If you’re still in the season of loneliness and depression, let it hurt and let it serve its purpose in your life. Jesus loves you and He doesn’t waste away our pain. 🙏🏼❤️🩹 God bless you more.

There is nowhere in scripture that says God loves unconditionally. I think it more accurate to simply say God never stops loving you.

What are the good things we shouldn't do? When Satan tempts us with good things.
I think what pastor Warren meant was not to get distracted from our mission to live for Jesus by focusing on things that although not bad may be used by Satan as a distractor to stray us from the great commission.

Strangely, this came up in my list just when I really needed it....as these things tend to happen throughout the years.
I actually don't believe in anything, but I always hope in the unseen things & that just maybe there is something worth this endurance against injustice & the lies of this World. (As I wrote "endurance" you said this word..in a 34 minute speech..ha, so many coincidences throughout my life that keep me hoping in something beyond our ken, something truly inspirational & even worthy of worship!.....said lastly but most of all in this I hope, if you understand the implications??)
We certainly need the power, so tantalising, so desperately needed, that I have always sensed is but a breath away.
Gonna' take a deep breath, awake tomorrow & speak against the World with truth another day & hope in the unseen things, which apparently is the true meaning of "Faith".....even though I still don't believe!
Hopefully these thoughts are helpful to somebody, somewhere in the despair of this mess we are truly in.
I'll pray for you brother, but if you don't accept the Lord Jesus Christ into your heart. Death is a Horrible thing.
