Here's a look at my 20 gallon Angelfish Tank as I remove mulm and other detritus from the substrate with my gravel vac.
Lovely farlowella. Thanks, liked.
Your Angel fish looks terrific.
I love those mini red fish
3:55 "Turn them over under water", I was half listening\watching a segment of the video & had to replay that part I missed, to see what you meant. 😅 Good video, Dan. 📺👍😎
Looks great!!!😊
Will any of your fish jump out? Glad you vacuumed. Been driving me nutty🤪
I've lost a few of the Bloodfin Tetras out of this one.
Gee it's been a while since you did a vacc on the gravel.
Not as long as you might think.
Hay Dan where's the best place to a heater by intake or outake ? horizontal or upright ? where do you place yours . Well can you do a video on all your plants what's for sale and how much shipping to uk
I can't ship outside the US, sorry.
I put the heater near a source of circulation. Usually near a powerhead if I have one in the tank. Upright of sideways is up to you. I prefer the upright look myself.
@@DanHiteshew-oneandonly ok no probs when say source by the intake ?
@@dudeblue8866 Yeah, that works.
@@DanHiteshew-oneandonly thx dan I'm having heat circulation problems
what’s up dan i got a question my fish tank been cycling for about 3 weeks the first two weeks i had no nitrite only high ammonia . then after the second week my nitrite shot all the way up but my ammonia level now at zero and also had my nitrate at a good level i had added four molly’s to help the cycle finish faster but seek like my nitrite won’t go down also did a water change a week ago how do i drop the nitrite level to zero and this is my first ever tank trying set it up for a breakish water fish tank and add my puffer fish but wanna make sure it’s safe first molly fish seem to be doing great doe
It can take 6 weeks or more for a tank to cycle. Now that there's fish in there, be sure to watch the ammonia level. Keep doing water changes to keep the nitrites below 1 ppm to keep the fish safe.
Why didn't you vac the java fern? Those plants hold mulm like nylons hold legs.
Maybe because he didn’t want to and the point of the video was to gravel vac not plant vac!!!
@@nathansfish8282 he is having problems by not vacuuming detritus, he should've vac'ed more specially where mulm forms
Ones again this video is about gravel vac not plant vac and he could do it the next water change stop acting like it’s the last water change he is going to ever do on that tank ok!🤷♂️🤷♂️
@@nathansfish8282 the title of the video is "vaccing the mulm" not vaccing gravel
And what did he vac the gravel so then that makes this video about gravel vac not plant vac.🤷♂️
