Great video! Welcome back! I really appreciate all the work and effort to make your videos so well. Additionally appreciate your ethics and respect for the properties and objects you find.
Really like some of the filming and editing techniques employed in this video, Hans. We want more videos :) You always inspire us to grab the detector and go hunting again.
Hello Hans!! Always very exiting to try new equipment 😁!! Thank you for sharing all those very nice pictures, and specially this smooth orange light at evening !! I’m going few days in Berlin next Easter...😊 have a nice weekend in Brittany it’s raining a lot...!!
that!s true :) I can't wait to take it out again as soon has the rain stopped. my pleasure francoise :) thank you for watching and for appreciating my filming! cool! berlin is exciting! you will have a great time there. have a nice weekend too and all the best, hans
"I'm digging in red concrete!" Too funny... Glad to see you enjoy your new coil. Don't worry about the length of the video, content is far more inportant and you never cease to amaze with your educational films. I like the sounds of you softly speaking from the field. You can hear your coil and birdsong alike. Thank you for sharing and in case I dont get to see you... Merry Christmas and Happy New Year... Beste, Anna
hello anna, sorry for the late reply! I was indeed very enjoyable to use it and I would love to take it out every free day. fortunately the rain I was longing for the past month has arrived and will stay for a little while. I can wait for my next outing as rain is more important at the moment. I'm really happy to hear that you enjoy and appreciate my filming. I'm always happy about feedback! thank you for watching, your kind comments and for staying tuned. i also wish you a merry christmas and a happy new year :) all the best, hans
Very informative video, me old mucker, and of huge benefit to those thinking about getting the x35. Use of a microphone link to your camera is a great addition to your commentary and I really enjoyed your chat as you detected - it enabled you to talk about the coil as you used it rather than talk about it afterwards. I know some people are struggling with the x35 but you seem to have taken to it very well. Thanks for sharing.
hey kumpel! sorry for the late reply! I'm happy to hear you like my video and the use of my clip-on microphone. I'm planning to use it more often in combination with the one- perspective camera setting. I only used the coil this one time and I was swinging it over very clean ground. I'm interested to see how it will handle some of my badly mineralized roman settlement grounds. thank you for watching and for your kind comment my friend. all the best, hans
Hello Hans, Another really good clip. Shame you haven't the time to do more, I've seen so very good detectorist clips on RUclips and in my opinion yours are among these best. Looking forward too seeing more clips in 2019. Have a great Christmas and a very happy and prosperous New Year
hello michael, thank you for your appreciation and for your kind comment! It's always great to hear that people like my videos :) I would have loved to upload more videos this year... hopefully I will be able to do more next year. I wish you a merry christmas and a happy new year too!
Hi, I have just started metal detecting over the last six months as I am very interested in history, I really enjoy watching your videos and I find it really respectful the way you conduct your metal detecting activity and your interest in the archaeology I feel that I have learnt a lot about metal detecting by watching your videos many thanks and keep up the good work!!
hello jonathan, thank you for watching my videos and for your kind comment! I'm happy to hear that you like my videos :) all the best and a happy christmas, hans
I'm happy to hear that my friend! I'm happy to see you commenting :) thank you for watching and for your kind words and wishes! all the best to you too, hans
It's so nice to be out in the country with you. Such a vast area. Can you imagine how much stuff is buried over that vast landscape? Just incredible. You'll never run out of ground my friend. Thanks for taking us along.
I'm glad you enjoy it, thank you for watching and appreciating! I haven't got access to all the land you see in my landscape shots. my permission is limited to a certain area which is quite large though. sometimes it's not easy to find the farmers who own the respective fields. greetings, hans
Hello. Im in the US. That was a highly informative video on gear. Excellent stuff. Impressive.Similar to some guys I detect with but myself I keep it a lot simpler. I have my detector, a Garrett ace 300, with wireless headphones, fm transmitter style, my shovel, I either use a $15 mini shovel or us army tri fold, depending on which one I grab first...I have a belt with an old us army saw gunners pouch (200rd style), a Garrett pro pointer and a lesche digging tool...That's about it. I wear jeans and sneakers or wellies, shirt, baseball cap...obviously a lot more in the fall and winter...I'm in Pennsylvania. Always wear gloves. Usually keep some spare batteries in my pocket and might stick a granola bar in another pocket. I usually drink a big bottle of water before I leave the car. Then one when I get back. Due to my work I don't often get to detect for more than a few hours so each week so I don't pack lunch, or first aid kit. I always keep a swiss army knife and a lighter in my pocket. Cell phone in a pocket. Wallet etc. Any valuable coins I put somewhere...none of your business! (lol). Thanks again for the great info...I subscribed.
hello from germany :) thank you for watching, subscribing and for your kind comment! It's interesting to read what you use over there in the us. all the best and good hunting, hans
I’ve been a subscriber for sometime now. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!! I was a soldier, stationed in Darmstadt and I would go to the Herren Garden & the forests in the area. Watching you brings back so many wonderful memories! My favorite finds were at the Woog in Darmstadt. I detected there one winter, when the water was drained away. 120 silver rings, 63 gold rings, a sword bayonet from the Franco-Prussian war. $400.00 in DM. I even found two rings for people that lost them many years before. I wish that I could have returned them all but, no information for the rest. Lots more things, too many to mention. I enjoy your videos more than it is possible to say! Thank you, from an old soldier!!! Prosit! 🍺😎👍
hello ken, welcome on my channel! thank you for watching, subscribing and for your kind comment! I'm happy to hear you like my videos and that they bring back sweet memories to you. It was an US GI that inflamed my passion for metal detecting. we had a huge us maneuver in my hometown wächtersbach in the early 80s and there was this soldier who took out is metal detector for a walk in our castle park. I was fascinated about what he pulled out of the ground and from that day on I wanted to have a detector. I got my first one at the age of 14. all the best and greetings from germany, hans
Hans great video, love that you can get so much deeper in your quest to uncover the past. I'm sure in your hands this will be a very valuable tool. Take care my friend. Good luck, would love to see what you can come up with in the come videos.
thank you my friend, I'm happy to hear you like my video. I'm waiting for better weather to take this coil out again :) thank you for watching! all the best and take care too, hans
Great video Hans and a wonderful review of the coil. Hope you able to get in a few more before the snow starts falling. Thanks for the video and review. Bill
thank you my friend, I'm glad to hear that :) I would be out detecting with the new coil every free day at the moment but unfortunately the weather doesn't play game. thank you for watching and for your kind comment!
Thanks for the video Hans. I was very impressed with your integrity in not going on the field even though you could have. I hope this new coil pays great dividends when used on ground not covered so thoroughly before.
my pleasure :) thank you for watching it. I wanted to give the coil a special test and that's why I waited. It wasn't easy as you can imagine .. haha. thank you for watching and for your kind words! all the best, hans
Excellent videos, thank you for sharing, My girlfriend and I have been binge watching your videos. they are expertly filmed and edited! we found your channel about a month ago and watch a few every week. we are in colonial Massachusetts and so far, the oldest thing I've dug is a 1677 french silver coin, but that's good for here.I couldn't imagine digging the finds that you do.
hello ken, thank you both for watching my channel, I'm happy to hear you like my videos. I'm happy about all historic finds I make no matter if it's ancient or from the 1800s. a 1677 silver coin is a fantastic and desirable find for me too! thank you for your kind comment! all the best and happy christmas, hans
It is very good to know you respect your farmers, some here in the us will loose viewers because they bend too many rules, showin loss of respect for farmers or surroundings.
thank you my friend, I'm glad you like the hunt. I'm excited to use the coil more often :) thank you for watching and for your kind comment! all the best and good hunting, hans
excellent channel and videos..many great finds and really well presented.i only discovered it today and have been working my way through the vids...hope to see new ones in the future.
hello! welcome on my channel :) thank you for watching and for your kind comment. I'm happy to hear you like my videos! all the best and please stay tuned, hans
I'm happy to hear that my friend. there are very good books about metal detecting on the market. on that I can recommend to you is "advanced metal detecting" by john lynn. thank you for watching and for your kind comment!
Hans, I figured the buckle was 12” deep but 14” WOW and dry soil, and the coin at 12”. Thanks for sharing your finds and information on the coil. Looks like I am going shopping. 👍👍👍👍
you are right about the dry soil. I can imagine that the signals would have been stronger if the soil was moist. it's a shame that I didn't come up with this argument in my video :D thank you for watching my friend!
I'm happy to hear that my friend, thank you! I think I'm not career- driven enough for things like that.. haha.. but I appreciate the compliment that lies your statement.
Great review Hans . The X35 will be a great addition to your coils .My son was going out detecting while I was watching your video with his Deus . I told him your iron tip edging the signal . He has the original coils 9/11/and 13 which he uses very well. He was trying a new programme out . As he was going out with a friend onto some Roman fields . Great video as normal .
thank you my friend, I'm glad you fin my review useful. it's great that you share the same hobby with your son. that's very valuable! thank you for watching and for your kind comment!
Great videos sir! I just became aware of them and expect to binge view more! The antiquity of many of your recoveries is mindboggling..while I'm at it, just an fyi;copper and metals containing it, have anti-microbial properties that also helps preserve things in the ground like leather for much longer than normal. Colonial copper /brass,etc, rivots, shoe eyelets, lacehooks etc are often found in the US with pliable leather around them. Keep these great educational presentations rolln Hans!!

Great video Hans! It would be awesome to see you with this coil and boost mode in the bronce spear forest. Greetings!!
you can't imagine how I would love to use this coil in these woods of wonder :D but unfortunately my detecting permission expired with the end of the excavation there. the night hawks are still haunting this area though and clearing it from all the wonderful things that might be hidden there. it's an unbearable thought. thank you for watching :)
it definitely does.. I'm looking forward to using it more often. you are right about the gloves. I'm often too excited to start detecting and I forget to take them on because of that. thank you for watching and for your kind comment my friend. all the best and good hunting, hans
thank you michael, I'm gad you like my video :) the coils performance is very convincing so far. I can't wait for better weather to take it out again. thank you for watching!
Yeah, just one of those larger coil things. I have over 1200 hrs on a 13" coil (Whites VX3 with Detech Ultimate coil), I still get off to the side of my targets and knick them more often than I like. But, the upside....you get the deep goodies anyway! Another great video! I always look forward to your next hunts.
I will be very careful from now on. I have o learn to pinpoint right as it is very annoying to nick finds. thank you for watching and for your kind comment!
thank you for consoling me by telling me about your faux pas.these things happen to all detectorists. thank you for watching and for your kind comment :)
If I get a sweet tone that I think that is likely to be deep iron, I generally lift the coil rather that using the leading edge because I can get a fuller swing in. I am very pleased to note that we have almost identical technique which gives me confidence that I am doing it right :)
Amazing video as always Hans! I dont know the law in Germany but in Norway we are not allowed to dig deeper then 25 cm. Deeper is considered archaeologically depth. That said, the other day i found 5x matchbox cars from the 70s in the same hole starting at 35 cm... :P A tip from one detectorist to another, digging deep object i would highly recommend using the pinpointer together with a hand-shovel. That way you kan pinpoint exactly where the objekt is, and the smaller shovel wont nick it easilly. I usually attach both shovel and pinpointer in my belt right side for easy access. To test the coil, perhaps try both coils at home digging down the object or use a plastic bucket with dirt. Looking forward to your next vid my friend.
hello my friend, we have similar rules here with the difference that we are not allowed to recover significant finds that are deeper than 20cm. we can dig deeper to see what it is but if we see that it is something significant we have to call the archaeologists. I will definitely use the pinpointer more often when detecting with my 11" coil. I don't want this to happen again! thank you for watching and for your kind comment :)
Learning the center of a new coil is a pain, but we all must. You will master it just as you have the other sizes. Hope you find many relics with your new coil.
thank you for your consoling words! I felt horrible when I saw what I did . . haha.. I have to get used to the coils size. thank you for watching and for your kind comment!
Nice coil Hans! It does have great signal separation ! When I use my detector, it sounds like a Whale song ! lol ! Great machine Hans ! 👍! Take care my friend . Matt
hello matt, I'm looking forward to using it more often as soon as the weather allows it. haha. . I like whale song! thank you for watching and for your kind comment my friend! all the best and take care too, hans
hello nick, welcome on my channel! thank you for watching and for your kind comment. I'm happy to hear you enjoyed my video and that it helped you to decide. happy hunting with it :)
Hello friends! Finally I was able to test my new X35 11" coil. I hope you like my experience report. Please help me by sharing my video! thank you very much! All the best and good hunting everyone! Hans
Great video again, Hans. Very interesting test with your new X-35 coil and I loved the comments about the coil. I am predicting that you will not take the coil off your machine for quite some time.
Hello Hans, I like the title to your video. Deep secrets! That new coil definitely has you digging deep. You managed some nice finds too. It must be exciting to try out a new piece of equipment like that. Even tho you’ve already gone over the spot once before it’s brought new life to the search. Just think of how many other places you can try. How about your dream field? I noticed a higher view point in one of your shots near the end. How did you manage that? It was very still so do not think it was a drone. Your videos are always so interesting no matter how long. Thanks for posting. Wishing you all the best, Victoria
hello victoria, the footpath is the best place to test this new coils abilities. I've bought it for more ground coverage and deeper ground penetration. it is indeed exciting to test new equipment and I can't wait to take it out again as soon as the rain has passed. this coil might not be suitable for my dream field because of its size. it sees too much of the bad mineralized and iron infested ground which causes the so called camouflage effect that leads to less finds. the x35 coil would be perfect for a woodland permission that I hopefully obtain in the future :) I achieved the higher perspective by positioning my tripod up on a hill. it looks like filmed from the air because I zoomed in a bit. thank you for watching and for your kind comment :) all the best and greetings from germany, hans
TerraGermania I clearly have much to learn about metal detecting. Thank you so much for taking the time to explain these details, Hans. It’s greatly appreciated. Mit freundlichen Empfehlungen, Victoria
Hans! We are still working our way through your vids every night. So relaxing, interesting and entertaining too. We vicariously detect through you, lol. Weird request: My hub's birthday is Dec. 24, and I'm planning a detecting-related gift for him. Would you possibly consider saying "Hey" to him if you make a new video in December? It would be the icing on the cake so to speak. Just a thought! (Hopefully he won't read this)
wild bore's actually do the ecosystem some good...replacement of solids (we're talking poo here), enrichment of the soil (we're talking wee here), and also by rooting around in and trampling upon the soil they're airating and mixing in the nutrients. All of this results in a rejuvanated soil with a wider variety of plant-life than would be there using standard farming methods. Also, they're living on natural foods at no extra carbon cost to the wider environment...in other words tasty, guilt free, live stock ;-) Goats are also quite similar
I think the farmer was referring to the torn open patches where the wild boars were looking for worms. but for me what you say sounds plausible. in the end the damage is lesser than one would think when seeing these devastated areas. thank you for watching!

Thank you Hans, you've helped me decide which coil to go for. Great to see you again.
I'm happy to hear that :) thank you for watching!
Hello Hans!! Always very exiting to try new equipment 😁!! Thank you for sharing all those very nice pictures, and specially this smooth orange light at evening !! I’m going few days in Berlin next Easter...😊 have a nice weekend in Brittany it’s raining a lot...!!
that!s true :) I can't wait to take it out again as soon has the rain stopped. my pleasure francoise :) thank you for watching and for appreciating my filming! cool! berlin is exciting! you will have a great time there. have a nice weekend too and all the best,
hans
"I'm digging in red concrete!" Too funny... Glad to see you enjoy your new coil. Don't worry about the length of the video, content is far more inportant and you never cease to amaze with your educational films. I like the sounds of you softly speaking from the field. You can hear your coil and birdsong alike. Thank you for sharing and in case I dont get to see you... Merry Christmas and Happy New Year... Beste, Anna
hello anna,
sorry for the late reply! I was indeed very enjoyable to use it and I would love to take it out every free day. fortunately the rain I was longing for the past month has arrived and will stay for a little while. I can wait for my next outing as rain is more important at the moment. I'm really happy to hear that you enjoy and appreciate my filming. I'm always happy about feedback! thank you for watching, your kind comments and for staying tuned. i also wish you a merry christmas and a happy new year :) all the best,
hans
I'm interested to see how it will handle some of my badly mineralized roman settlement grounds. thank you for watching and for your kind comment my friend.
all the best,
hans
Hello Hans, Another really good clip. Shame you haven't the time to do more, I've seen so very good detectorist clips on RUclips and in my opinion yours are among these best. Looking forward too seeing more clips in 2019.
Have a great Christmas and a very happy and prosperous New Year
hello michael,
thank you for your appreciation and for your kind comment! It's always great to hear that people like my videos :) I would have loved to upload more videos this year... hopefully I will be able to do more next year. I wish you a merry christmas and a happy new year too!
Hi, I have just started metal detecting over the last six months as I am very interested in history, I really enjoy watching your videos and I find it really respectful the way you conduct your metal detecting activity and your interest in the archaeology I feel that I have learnt a lot about metal detecting by watching your videos many thanks and keep up the good work!!
hello jonathan,
thank you for watching my videos and for your kind comment! I'm happy to hear that you like my videos :)
all the best and a happy christmas,
hans
So nice to see you again! Love to see what you find. Peace and good fortune to you!
I'm happy to hear that my friend! I'm happy to see you commenting :) thank you for watching and for your kind words and wishes! all the best to you too,
hans
It's so nice to be out in the country with you. Such a vast area. Can you imagine how much stuff is buried over that vast landscape? Just incredible. You'll never run out of ground my friend. Thanks for taking us along.
I'm glad you enjoy it, thank you for watching and appreciating! I haven't got access to all the land you see in my landscape shots. my permission is limited to a certain area which is quite large though. sometimes it's not easy to find the farmers who own the respective fields. greetings,
hans
Always great to see you back. Thanks for sharing your new equipment.
thank you, I'm happy to hear that :) thank you for watching!
(lol). Thanks again for the great info...I subscribed.
hello from germany :)
thank you for watching, subscribing and for your kind comment! It's interesting to read what you use over there in the us. all the best and good hunting,
hans
Prosit! 🍺😎👍
hello ken,
welcome on my channel! thank you for watching, subscribing and for your kind comment! I got my first one at the age of 14.
all the best and greetings from germany,
hans
Happy to see a new video! Looking forward to the finds you will make with this new coil.
I'm happy to hear that my friend :) thank you for watching and for staying tuned on my channel!
Thanks Hans ! Great video as always. Seeing that country scenery always relaxes me.
I'm glad to hear that :) thank you for watching!

Youre channel is a true treasure. Thank you for another great video!
thank you, it makes me happy to hear that :) thank you for watching my videos!
It's great to try new equipment. Great information on detecting. Congrats on your finds.
It was exciting and fun to test the coil. I can't wait for my next outing with this coil. thank you for watching and for your kind comment!
Hans great video, love that you can get so much deeper in your quest to uncover the past. I'm sure in your hands this will be a very valuable tool. Take care my friend. Good luck, would love to see what you can come up with in the come videos.
thank you my friend, I'm happy to hear you like my video. I'm waiting for better weather to take this coil out again :) thank you for watching! all the best and take care too,
hans
Nice video and super new machine !! Looking forward to seeing you in action on your next video. Thanks for sharing
thank you david :) I'm waiting for better weather to take it out again! thank you for watching!
What a time saver this coil is, I really want a detector. Your editing is exceptional. Keep up the great work!
thank you for watching and for your kind comment neil :)
Greetings from Chile!! I love your videos, your respect for the environment and dedication.
I'm happy to hear that my friend :) thank you for watching and for your kind words! greetings back from germany!
It wasn't easy as you can imagine .. haha. thank you for watching and for your kind words!
all the best,
hans
Great video Hans, I look forward to more of the same. Thank you
thank you bob, I'm glad you like it! I will talk a little more about the coil in upcoming videos :)
thank you for watching!
Thank you for making great videos, I really enjoy watching them and how you always respect nature
thank you for watching and appreciating my videos :) I'm happy to hear you like them!
Great video Hans, great upgrade to the machine and also to the channel. Thumbs up.
thank you my friend! I'm happy to hear you like my videos :)
Very informative vidio Hans and very well made as usual , the finds will be interesting in the future I'm sure
thank you for watching and for your kind words my friend :)
Wieder super video ,Hans
Tolle montage!!!!
Excellent videos, thank you for sharing, My girlfriend and I have been binge watching your videos. they are expertly filmed and edited! we found your channel about a month ago and watch a few every week. we are in colonial Massachusetts and so far, the oldest thing I've dug is a 1677 french silver coin, but that's good for here.I couldn't imagine digging the finds that you do.
hello ken,
thank you both for watching my channel, I'm happy to hear you like my videos. I'm happy about all historic finds I make no matter if it's ancient or from the 1800s. a 1677 silver coin is a fantastic and desirable find for me too! thank you for your kind comment! all the best and happy christmas,
hans
It's good to see you again Hans
good to see you commenting again rachel :) thank you for watching!
hans
It is very good to know you respect your farmers, some here in the us will loose viewers because they bend too many rules, showin loss of respect for farmers or surroundings.
It's very stupid to annoy farmers and it is something that effects all detectorists. we have to sensitize newcomers about this issue.
Nice to see you back again. Always enjoy watching your videos.
Can't wait till the weather gets better and you can get out and metal detect. Its hard waiting out the winter. I have watched this twice.
I'm looking forward to that too. also my permission contract hasn't arrived as yet. thank you for watching and liking my videos :)
Congratulations on having the new coil! I'm glad it's working for you. Good luck and happy hunting! :)
thank you my friend! I'm looking forward to using it more often! all the best GL&HH to you too!
hans
Great hunt Hans I'm glad your liking the new coil looking forward to your next video buddy GL&HH Simon
thank you my friend, I'm glad you like the hunt. I'm excited to use the coil more often :) thank you for watching and for your kind comment! all the best and good hunting,
hans
hans
excellent channel and videos..many great finds and really well presented.i only discovered it today and have been working my way through the vids...hope to see new ones in the future.
hello! welcome on my channel :) thank you for watching and for your kind comment. I'm happy to hear you like my videos! all the best and please stay tuned,
hans
I shared your channel on facebook today.really nice videos you've been putting out hans
Hans, my friend and I are thinking of getting into detecting here in Hong Kong and your videos are very inspiring. I'd like to thank you, mate.
hello mate,
cool, I wonder what you could find there. It's a place with some amazing history. thank you for watching and for your kind comment!
Great feedback on the X35 coil Hans, many thanks. Look forward to more information in the future. ATB MMMD
my pleasure, thank you for watching! I will take the coil out as soon as the rain as passed. all the best and good hunting,
hans
Nice to see you back Hans!
thank you my friend! glad to see you commenting :)
A pleasure, as always. I wish I knew more about detectors, but I am learning from you. Thanks
I'm happy to hear that my friend. there are very good books about metal detecting on the market. on that I can recommend to you is "advanced metal detecting" by john lynn. thank you for watching and for your kind comment!
On to new levels of finding the past. Great video, very pretty scenes again.
I'm so excited to to take it out more often. I have to wait for better weather though. thank you for watching!
Another wonderful video!! A true pleasure to watch!! I believe you would have a profitable future in making documentary films!
I'm happy to hear that my friend, thank you! I think I'm not career- driven enough for things like that.. haha.. but I appreciate the compliment that lies your statement.
Great video Hans , I've got an x35 and I totally agree with all you've said ...........Paul.
thank you paul! I'm glad you've made the same experience :) thank you for watching!
Colonial copper
/brass,etc, rivots, shoe eyelets, lacehooks etc are often found in the US with pliable leather around them.
Looks very promising that X35, now all you need are a pair of gloves for hidden sharp objects ;-) Be careful Hans. And thank you for sharing! GL&HH.
it definitely does.. I'm looking forward to using it more often. you are right about the gloves. I'm often too excited to start detecting and I forget to take them on because of that. thank you for watching and for your kind comment my friend. all the best and good hunting,
hans
Another great video. Impressive coil though. But that's when you get top notch stuff.👍
thank you michael, I'm gad you like my video :) the coils performance is very convincing so far. I can't wait for better weather to take it out again. thank you for watching!
Thanks for the video, it was a long wait!
thank you for watching it :) I hope the next video won't be a long wait too.
Nice to see you out again Hans, happy hunting.
happy hunting to you too my friend and thank you for watching!
Oh, Hans! I was detecting a Civil war site and nick a bullet w/ my shovel, its heartbreaking. Good to see you again Hans. Merry Christkindl!
thank you for consoling me by telling me about your faux pas.these things happen to all detectorists. thank you for watching and for your kind comment :)
If I get a sweet tone that I think that is likely to be deep iron, I generally lift the coil rather that using the leading edge because I can get a fuller swing in. I am very pleased to note that we have almost identical technique which gives me confidence that I am doing it right :)
similar technique, same result :) thank you for watching and for your kind comment!
Another excellent video and information ! also enjoying the voice-over , keep up the good work Hans !
glad you like my new video :) thank you for watching and for your kind comment!
Amazing video as always Hans! I dont know the law in Germany but in Norway we are not allowed to dig deeper then 25 cm. Deeper is considered
archaeologically depth. Looking forward to your next vid my friend.
hello my friend,
we have similar rules here with the difference that we are not allowed to recover significant finds that are deeper than 20cm. we can dig deeper to see what it is but if we see that it is something significant we have to call the archaeologists. I will definitely use the pinpointer more often when detecting with my 11" coil. I don't want this to happen again! thank you for watching and for your kind comment :)
Love the videos man, keep up the good work
I'm happy to hear that kenny :) thank you for watching!
Wirklich gut gemachte Videos!
hans
Another cool vlog. Your command of English is brilliant.l look forward to more 👍 thank you.
thank you, I'm happy to hear that :) also your comment about my english is very flattering! thank you for watching and for your kind words!
Nice coil Hans! It does have great signal separation ! When I use my detector, it sounds like a Whale song ! lol ! Great machine Hans ! 👍! Take care my friend . Matt
hello matt,
I'm looking forward to using it more often as soon as the weather allows it. haha. . I like whale song! thank you for watching and for your kind comment my friend!
all the best and take care too,
hans
First time watching your videos. Really enjoyed it. I will buy the x35 coil now and I don't even have time to get out detecting
hello nick,
welcome on my channel! thank you for watching and for your kind comment. I'm happy to hear you enjoyed my video and that it helped you to decide. happy hunting with it :)
I was already thinking of buying the X35 coil and this video confinced me. thanks!
I'm happy to hear my video helped. thank you for watching :)
Hello friends! Finally I was able to test my new X35 11" coil. I hope you like my experience report. Please help me by sharing my video! thank you very much!
All the best and good hunting everyone!
Hans
Very nice Video! great background video! love finding deep targets, Oh yes Ive dinged a few!
thank you david, I'm happy to hear you like my video! thank you for watching :)
Great video again, Hans. Very interesting test with your new X-35 coil and I loved the comments about the coil. I am predicting that you will not take the coil off your machine for quite some time.
thank you donnie, I'm glad you like my presentation. I can imagine that too :D thank you for watching and for commenting!
Hallo Hans,
Jason
Thank you so much for another wonderful video. You’re fan in East Tennessee, USA
my pleasure :) thank you for watching and for your kind comment! greetings from germany,
hans
Hello Hans, I like the title to your video. Deep secrets! That new coil definitely has you digging deep. You managed some nice finds too. It must be exciting to try out a new piece of equipment like that. Even tho you’ve already gone over the spot once before it’s brought new life to the search. Just think of how many other places you can try. How about your dream field? I noticed a higher view point in one of your shots near the end. How did you manage that? It was very still so do not think it was a drone. Your videos are always so interesting no matter how long.
Thanks for posting. Wishing you all the best,
Victoria
hello victoria,
the footpath is the best place to test this new coils abilities. I've bought it for more ground coverage and deeper ground penetration. it is indeed exciting to test new equipment and I can't wait to take it out again as soon as the rain has passed. this coil might not be suitable for my dream field because of its size. it sees too much of the bad mineralized and iron infested ground which causes the so called camouflage effect that leads to less finds. the x35 coil would be perfect for a woodland permission that I hopefully obtain in the future :) I achieved the higher perspective by positioning my tripod up on a hill. it looks like filmed from the air because I zoomed in a bit. thank you for watching and for your kind comment :) all the best and greetings from germany,
hans
TerraGermania
I clearly have much to learn about metal detecting. Thank you so much for taking the time to explain these details, Hans. It’s greatly appreciated.
Mit freundlichen Empfehlungen, Victoria
Love your Videos so relaxing, enjoyable, interesting and informative, thank you. 👍👍👍👍👍
I'm so happy to hear that my friend. great compliment :) thank you for watching!
a buckle may be near other finds, shoe nails, watches, buttons, rings, coins. I always wish searchers would stay near a find to find some more.
happy christmas hans to you and yours all the best for 2019 from all at the york pub cheers kev
thank you kev :) please say hello to everybody and a merry christmas and a happy new year to you all too!
cheers,
hans
Besten Dank !
With always great video Hans 👍🏻😊🌹🌹
thank you for watching and for your kind comment :)
Great to see you again, friend!
thank you for watching :)
(Hopefully he won't read this)
nice vid again hans, you will get a good workout digging deeper.
haha. . I think so too. thank you for watching my friend!
Great new metal detector Hans. 😊 👍
I'm a big fan :) thank you for watching my friend!
wild bore's actually do the ecosystem some good...replacement of solids (we're talking poo here), enrichment of the soil (we're talking wee here), and also by rooting around in and trampling upon the soil they're airating and mixing in the nutrients.
All of this results in a rejuvanated soil with a wider variety of plant-life than would be there using standard farming methods.
Also, they're living on natural foods at no extra carbon cost to the wider environment...in other words tasty, guilt free, live stock ;-)
Goats are also quite similar
I think the farmer was referring to the torn open patches where the wild boars were looking for worms. but for me what you say sounds plausible. in the end the damage is lesser than one would think when seeing these devastated areas.
thank you for watching!
Hallo Hans, sehr cooles video und tolle Aktion. 👍 LG Sondelfuchs
hallo sondelfuchs,
hans
