i’ve watched this fight a good 4-5 times, it’s so interesting seeing how tough Volk was the entire fight. Ortega really has the stamina and can take a nasty punch.

Was no fan of Ortega in the beginning. But, after watching him for a while, and seeing the tremendous heart he has, he's earned my respect and admiration. He's what the great Greek philosophers called "men with chests."
I love how much respect the fighters have for one another in the UFC. These guys tried to kill each other for 25min straight and then hugged it out right after...
that's the first thing I noticed about the sport when I started watching around 2 years ago. It's so ironic how they literally try to kill each other for 15-25 min and then hug like they're best friends right afterwards

It's sad Ortega never really crossed that line into greatness. I remember when the UFC first hyped him up... I thought it was too early for such a young kid. Today he really only had one shot at climbing the rankings and going for a belt. He just needs to tighten his skill... Cause we know he's tuff.

This match gives me the impression that makhachev could beat volkanovski as bad as everyone is predicting he will, ortega gave him a war. I'd still imagine volkanovski could surprise makhachev with his speed advantage and superior striking, though. It's hard to predict with makhachev, his recent matches haven't lasted very long, so there's not much to analyse. His striking looked limited in the oliveira match though, same left cross to right hook the whole match.

This match gives me the impression that makhachev could beat volkanovski as bad as everyone is predicting he will, ortega gave him a war.
I'd still imagine volkanovski could surprise makhachev with his speed advantage and superior striking, though. It's hard to predict with makhachev, his recent matches haven't lasted very long, so there's not much to analyse. His striking looked limited in the oliveira match though, same left cross to right hook the whole match.
