Same thing with Cog Hill Farm... until one of their subscribers sent a leather tool pouch/belt to Jason as a gift! He was always losing tools, etc. when he'd put them down on the ground, and then forget where he put them.
Hey guys! Just an observation/thought/suggestion: Leave your ceiling vaulted on your greenhouse side. Have them spray foam between the rafters. THEN you can build storage shelves across the entire length of the house wall. You can never have too much (off the floor) storage! Build it deep enough for rubbermade totes. You’re doing great!!! Good morning Lumnah Acres from Waxhaw, NC. We are at 68 degrees F as I write this and expect to go up to the low to mid-70s for the next couple of days. We are under drought conditions - little to no rain in months. Usually, by this time of the year, we are getting rain almost daily. If this keeps up there will be a lot of tree damage and loss of crops. I love watching your channel - it is my favorite. I can feel every nail and smell every board. We, your fans can't wait for your next release. God bless you and keep you all. p.r.morehouse - author

It was so good to have the usual "meal-with-grace" ending again. I didn't realize how much I had been missing it. I know there's so much to show with everything that's going on that you feel you can't always fit it in. When do we get to see the "secret project" you've been shooting around?
Morning amazing people This shows how much care & love you put into your property a great 2 days work. With an amazing meal created by Gina what more can you ask for . Creativity & determination are Lumnah Acres .
Gina, you need to take a break in the shipping container with a nice fire in the stove, or have some kind of heater in the tiny house to help you keep warm
19:45 - The way Gina was showing the pantry area reminded me of the models on "Let's Make a Deal" when they'd show what's behind door number one! (or two, or three!) 🙂
Hi from “Grammy “ from Ohio !! Just found your channel yesterday and stayed up watching till 6:30 this morning !!! It was worth it !! So nice to get another perspective on tiny houses and homesteads. I love the barn and buildings you’ve built. Will be glad to see this spring and your plans. Your such sweet people and dedicated to do it your way and it’s wonderful to watch. Be watching you !! ❤️❤️🙏🙏
FYI for nailers of sheetrock you do not need to use full studs, remnants of your sheeting will work just fine plus you can squeeze more insulation in that space. my two cents
Good Morning, Lumnahs & all you viewers out there! Hope everyone is staying safe, healthy & warm. The Harvest House has gone up fast. It won’t be too long before it will be warm & cozy inside. Blessings, Love & Hugs from Vicki in Ft. Worth, Texas 🇺🇸👍❤️🥰🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
The project is coming along nicely. To help insulate corners try looking up a California corner framing technique. It allows easier insulation access and can be installed during framing. i have been using this technique in the northeast for 30 years. Keep warm winter is here!
I like the rock wool insulation it seals very well and is very reasonably priced if you do it yourself. It is also fireproof! With the green board you may not need the expense of spray foam? The mineral wool is a natural product and is probably healthier than the foam. With the 2x6 walls you would get very good r value that will not decrease over time like fiberglass. It may be worth looking into.
Great video. So glad you are using spray foam. That will seal up the house good. Nice to see no corners are being cut just because it could be temporary house. Great job to do it right
A warm greeting to everyone around the world, and here at the Lumnah Acres channel, from Kamakura, Japan! 🇯🇵 Spunky 🐶 and I 😃 are enjoying this autumn so far and are looking forward to winter! I hope you all are doing well too!
Great work folks. That pork looks tasty. We use sweet apple cider with our pork roasts all the time. We like “Harvest House as a name. Maybe you should knock together a workbench to make your cutting tasks a little easier. God bless.
Gina, it is SO good to see/hear you more as part of y’all’s story!!! When I first started watching, years ago, you were still working and never in front of the camera! Al did a good show alone, but it is definitely better seeing/hearing you too! You complete the video! 🥰
Oh also Al I hope you plan to frame in some crawlspace doors upstairs to get in behind those knee walls. It's not only a great space for storing old clothes and once a year things like Christmas ornaments but having once lived in a house with a similar knee wall dead space I found I occasionally needed to get in there to run wires for various things through the walls on the first floor. And if you do end up putting Solar on the roof of your "Utility House" (I'm calling it that since it's not tiny and because it serves so many purposes) you'll probably find easy access to those dead spaces super helpful. Plus those ubiquitous Rubbermaid storage totes everyone has fit perfectly in there with room to squeeze around them if necessary.
Good Morning Lumnah's. It comes along quite nicely, good work. Then just a thought; Why not make a simple temporary railing around the staircase on the 2nd floor? It will make it safer for you when working at that side.
Harvest house that has a good ring to it, keep up the good work i know that there is ALOT of behind the scene work that gets done apprisate all the hard work!!

Getting the wiring and plumbing installed in walls that get sprayed foam will be way easier before the foam… looking great guys
In a cold climate, there should not be any plumbing in the outside walls. Freezing happens.
