I love your attention to detail on all you do. I enjoy watching someone competent do a job. No drama, no fuss, just a getting the job done. Thank you for sharing your projects.
Hi Al, There is an old saying that every homestead or farm needs to have a kerosene torpedo heater.... having one allows you to warm your house now.. knock the chill off....but it can also be used to unfreeze pipes, warm equipment for better starting etc.... For a $300 investment you won't be sorry. I have one I use in my garage for when I am doing projects....well worth it
Your wife is really beautiful-, I so appreciate watching her gain confidence with the camera. Lord bless you as you teach so many how to create and serve together.
The joys of having an Aussie Shepherd on a worksite, I absolutely love that part about this episode haha I too have an Aussie and can relate to the constant work the bread demands haha
Hello Lumnahs and tanner,,,Looking good out there, stay warm,,Al maybe you can give Dutch some pointers,bc he's going NOWHERE FAST on his build, praying soon,Hve a blessed day!!!
I think I would take some of the left over plastic you had from the greenhouse and cover the windows to allow light in while you are waiting for the windows.
I know with that rich stock, that was a very hearty welcome to take that chill off your bones. I can finally say I make that too! Just use wide Pennsylvania Dutch noodles.
The sun porch is looking good. I would suggest a set of dual opening French doors for the front wall. I suspect you will also be adding a walk through door from the Harvest House eventually. Thanks for sharing with us.
It’s amazing how quickly you guys have built this house. Thank God Mother Nature has been on your side. From what I remember your place is covered in thick snow by now.
Was great to see Tanner St the new property. And Gina on a ladder !!! She is coming along. ha ha. Look forward to seeing the place sealed up and insulated.
I just love watching the progress you and Miss Gina are making on your new cottage. I know you call it a tiny home...it just reminds me of a sweet cottage that will be filled with love.
Ginas' dinner looked delicous!!! She is an inspiration on what to cook for dinner here.. love watching the new house build on you beautiful property and seeing your doggy enjoying hisself running the property! Love your videos.
I like the pattern the zip tape made on the front of the house. I agree with Gina, the "porch" looks great, but it will look awesome closed in too. It was good to see Tanner. Haven't seen the pups in quite a while. That soup looked awesome. Blessings to all.
Freezing Celery? That's a great idea. We just threw out a bunch because it went bad. Thanks' Gina's kitchen. That's the biggest measuring cup I ever saw. Lol Tanner is so precious!!!
Love this build. This would be just the right size for my husband and I. Gina, that soup looks delicious. A great way to end a chilly day. Blessings, 😊💕🙏🏻🇨🇦
Good Morning y'all, Suggestion... Might have be easy to use a scaffolding to put up the Zip tape on the wall. Miss seeing Olivia helping her dad. Glad to see Tanner.
I'm out duck hunting right now. Checking the channel from the blind. Not many ducks today but the venison is on the frying pan as we speak. You two are the hardest working people I know. The OGP is coming together nicely. from a year ago till now wow..
Great to see Tanner loving the new homestead. Great teamwork on Zip Tape - especially in that cold. Love the simple recipe for the chicken soup - Curry does sound delicious in there - going to have to try it.
Gods morning Guys! Going over to the farm to build today also. Temperatures got up into 72° 73° yesterday, not going to complain about a little over cast, and no sun today! Stay🙏 blessed 🙌...
Good Morning, well you seen to be making great progress on the house, and I was glad to see that Tanner was getting some time with you. Stay well, and be safe.
After opening a bag of celery, take it out of the bag and put it in aluminum foil while you keep it in your crisper. It will stay fresh longer than in a plastic bag. That's my daughter's new tip. Of course, it's nice to have some in the freezer for cooking.
You could put clear plastic up where the windows will go until the windows can be installed. That will allow the sun to warm the room and help to keep the wind out.
Before the snow flies, think about bringing the shed (outhouse & tool) closer to the tiny house for the winter. You could also arrange to have your remodeled shipping container brought up so you could utilize the living space (wood stove & sleeping bunks) during the winter time for overnight stays and a place to warm up till tiny house gets these conveniences. I'm sure both would be used instead of driving back and forth to the farm.
Good morning PA GUY evening if they stayed up there they would have to drive back to the farm to feed the animals but it would be nice not having to. Have a great weekend
@@ryanhoward1013 and Pat Church - I was just thinking that Gina could go home to take care of Olivia and the animals while Al could continue on projects at the tiny house. Gina could make the trip up if she wanted to help but she may have things to do around the house also. I'm just thinking ahead of the bad weather which could make daily trips up and back maay not be possible. I guess I should have mentioned the animals.
@@samvalentine3206 Hi Sam, Do you think Al and Gina will use the shipping container house? I hope Al will not work alone! I think Al could pre make some walls in his warm shop like Ken did, and trailer them up. Or at least precut studs.
Hey Al don't forget to ZIP tape the corners on the building..those exposed ends need to be protected as well ;>) Love the project and the progress you've made! always looking forward to your posts!
Y'all got a lot accomplished on that cold day. I just can't believe your ground is still bare. This has been crazy weather. everything is looking great, I know it will be even better once you get the heat going. Have a Blessed weekend everyone.
Love watching the work on the house.i truly love watching you work, you go at it and get it done.you work quick, even by yourself.you make lots of progress fast.
Hi Gina, always enjoy your cooking segments and just wanted to let you know that we chop and freeze for winter too! Carrots, onions, leeks, sweet potato, butternut squash, and swede also known as rutabega. Whenever I am ready to make dinner most of my chopping and prep is already done...yay!
Have been watching your farm life for a while, really love it. All working together, that's how a family stays in unity. The wooden buildings for the animals are so beautiful. The structures are all solid, no wildlife can "get" to anyone. The goat herd is coming on beautifully, I love them especially the baby goats, who would not? The chickens are so well looked after as well as the pigs. It all seems to be in fine order, love the cooking sessions just down to good home cooking on the farm. The recent view of the vegetables in the green house, the tomatoes are growing so beautifully, you will reap a good crop for sure. It's a great life, but hard work. Keep going you reap what you sow!! Looking forward to the next video, go well. Kind regards from all of us.
I like the idea of a pourch.
So much done already on the house...
Thanks for sharing your journey and God bless.
Love how the dog is helping keep mom safe on the latter.😁❤❤

Gina should put hummingbird feeders in front of those South facing windows in the Spring.
I like how Tanner stays very near you guys and does not wander around. He's a good boy.
maybe he already noticed a Sasquatch hiding behind a tree....
Thank you all for sharing your adventures! I always look forward to your next video. The small house is looking terrific. 🙂
Tanner says " I'm trying to play ball! There is no time for work." The soup looked amazing.

As long as there is enough ventilation, they are great.
The irony is that they already have one. Seen them use it when building the container "cabin"
