Just found this channel after watching your main channel for years and I gotta say it's a lot of fun watching the more informal videos that are posted here.
Kudos to You and Mrs. Outlaw. Y'all hit targets I wouldn't even know were there at 300-400. But up close, I'd be able to back you up. That was fun watching range time. Well Done!
Hit on the range miss in the bedroom ! ,) your new shirt if your really the honest outlaw,) Thanks for super cool entertainment you guy's are a blessing to anyone watching no matter who they are.
That is truly more fun out on the gun range at longer distances it becomes more of a team sport and that's way cool having others around, black power is fun when your timing each other on loading and so on, don't play with large amounts of powder boys and girls your eyebrows and so on will love you, unless you want a tan real quick.
@Outlaw Life The pressure comment followed up with.."...with my penis", had Rio Punch Monster energy drink come out my nose...😂 That was fucking hilarious!
Chris, If your serious about a 45 deg red dot mount, check out Arisaka's option. It's actually a 45 or a 32 (I think) deg mount that has fabric machining tolerances and a real cool way to reverse the base that actually changed the mount offset degree. On my DD right I liked the 32 vs 45 degree angle better.... May be a bit more expensive, but worth every penny!!
Much appreciate the sky great looking out ! Keep that up please GOD'S TV even if it's just a quick second you see more then the NeWS could ever tell you.
Facts, I did alot of research and figured 10.3 in 300blk for home defense, 12.5 for general purpose and 16 for my 'rifle' cause the -LowIQ- 'ATF' likes to play games. always subject to change ofc 😏
12.5" - 13.×" are my favorite barrel lengths. If I could only have 1 it would be Centurion 13.7 MIDWEIGHT HF with LPVO and Top Hat 509T. I also love my SOLGW 13.7 with PA 1×ACSS Micro PRISM. I've been running TR24 since 2013ish . I really do wanna try Aimpoint Duty RDS with Eotech G45 5x magnifier in the future.
And i like 11.ish with a can. 1x4 lpvo with offset. Edit- im not preparing for 400 yard reaches, i feel all my wants, will be wicked close, and i like/prefer speed. My 47 buddies can sit back and play over watch. Just me. And I prefer to run about everything suppressed.
@@96kylar Yeah YHM and Dead Air are my go too for Cans . I run YHM T2 Turbo K with Dead Air Keymo Adapter and SOLGW KEYMO NOX Flash Hider . I love TR24 1-4 & TR25 1-6 . Those are probably my favorite OPTICS for 556 . Both of those OPTICS are super fast up close . Running 2Gun stages I cannot tell the diffrence in time between red dot , 1× Prism or TR24 / TR25 . CM4 13.7 Midweight HF With C4 12" Quad , TR25 , Top Hat 509T , Cloud OWL and LWRCI IC Lower is my go too Rig for just about anything
I built a 11.5 with a PA 1X SLX Micro Prism with green illumination. No magnifier. Hits beautifully out to 300 yrds. Love to see you guys test the PA 1x with 3x magnifier vs the single PA 3x with red dot offset. Great content. Best Regards Cory
So just curious, if you’re planning to run an off-set reddot, wouldn’t it make more sense to run a 2.5-10 or 3-12 scope instead of an lpvo? Is there a reason people tend to stick with the lpvos?
12.5 is fine out to 300 yds. Good cqb/backpack barrel length. Now I had an idea for a backpack/3 day kit that would use a 12.5 upper as a fast reaction setup for vehicle use. thoughts?
I personally think 12.5 is the perfect ar pistol “do all” self defense gun. The velocity is actually the same as 14.5 (as tested and proven in classic firearms video) but keep it short. I love my 12.5 iwi Zion. U can still reach out far with good velocity at 2800ish fps.
It actually isn't in most cases. It depends on barrel and ammo. I get more velocity out of my 10.3 then my 12.5 with one certain type of ammo and same goes for other lengths and loads. It's like a BDC reticle, none of it works or matters until you tested your gun based mostly on barrel and load. Don't ever take one's word no matter how credible it may be. Test and get your own data. Try two same length barrels from different manufacturers and it proves itself 99% of the time.
Do you not have a rig, with a lpvo and offset.? If not, try one. Edit- Welp, my bad, just got to the very end. Do it. You wont go back. Hell, a designated 4x prism and off set over even a lpvo, shits up and down on a flip magnifier imho. I like lvpos, but honestly, your either 1x or maxX,.. almost never at 2.2x.or what ever. But, sorry for the premature comment boss.
Is love to see the chronograph... I've only seen one video on velocity between 12.5 and 14.5 uppers and that 1 video showed basicly no difference between the two. We need more data on this.
You two are a dynamic duo. Great video! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

I love this channel! Thanks for providing this.
Subbed both channels.. good stuff. 12.5 here with Primary Arms SLx 3X MicroPrism with Red Illuminated ACSS Raptor. Keep on training 🔥
Good job Mrs Outlaw!

Great video, enjoy watching you and your wife . Always keeping it real . Thanks for the great content.
Great Vid! Kudos to you both 👍
just built at 14.5 and loving it! great video. im struggling with a 1x 3x or lpvo for it.
LPVO's and innuendo! You guys rock! 😏🔫

Real world shooting, good stuff. Most of my long range shooting is over the hood of my truck, if I'm lucky with a bipod.

I love my 13.7. If I didn’t have to jump through all the hoops to get a 12.5 then I would pick one up. But being 6’3 I don’t mind the extra length.
Get an “other firearm” in a 12.5
12.5” out to 300 all day which covers 99% of what most people need. If I had to choose just one, but who wants to do that. Everyone needs several

Nice
Great video! Would you still like the shorty if the optic was of a lesser quality?
That thumb nail photo is fuckin sweet!
What does Mrs Outlaw have for her AR? Like to see her guns again and if they have changed.
Can you do a review of the optic on your BCM 12.5"?
Is the glare caused by the space between the magnify and red dot?? 15:10
I know I’m late in watching the vid. Love to hear a reply. Can you tell very much difference in the 2” on barrel length?
We watch birds with this…”well we are white” hahahahhaha earned a sub
12.5s best in both AR/AK for short with range
I’m wondering why you didn’t mount the LPVO on the 14.5?
So both ARs are Frankenstiens with a couple of BCM parts. Haha!
🔥🇺🇸
How about a Dickens drill for that American Hero that saved lives at the Mall
12.5 best
It's so odd seeing someone where a hoody in the summer. It was a high of 105F here today, down south.
this was filmed in November

Anyone know which magnifier he is using?
I wish me and mine could shoot outside of 100 yards I really want to

Hey Fallujah was cleared with 20” barreled m16A4’s. is it optimal? No,but damn does it look awesome and gets the job done.
Love the look of a carry handle
That show Iowa was putting on for us was all chemicals sprayed from a plane. Cool right?
Iowa is definitely full of chemicals

dude i would just run the Red Dot on the 12.5 and the Lpvo on the 14.5

That would make for a good setup. Most of my rifles are 12.5 and work very well in a cqb/qrf situation
