It actually is a kitchen stove, that console from 918. It was first used in 263, one of the old homemaker sets from a few years earlier: a literal kitchen.
I absolutely love 928 about 10 years ago I got it from someone I knew at middle school for $25 I didn’t know at the time how expensive that set was. I got pretty lucky 😂
Keep up the amazing videos, the channel is off to a great start. I was here before you hit 300 subs, and that was only two weeks ago. You're growing really fast! :)
Love these vids! I was born in 98 and grew up with Lego Star Wars, bionicle, and Mars Mission, so it's cool to get an in-depth look at these older themes 💫
I honestly rarely comment. One of your videos ended up on my frontpage, and ive just been binge wantching these ever since - I wondered how big your channel was, and i think my screen is putting the dot for the thousands in the wrong spot, this is fire content!
If I had all the money I would collect classic space. But I have had to limit my purchases to castle and Pirate theme only... I do love the 90th anniversary space ship however.
Great video! I genuinely love Lego Classic Space. Maybe new comments will get you a few more views on this! The Lego Space Shuttle, 442 on this side of The Pond and 891 over there, is the first Lego set I ever received. I got it from my grandmother when I was in the hospital. I enjoyed it so much, my mom bought me set 487, the Space Cruiser (or 924 Space Transporter elsewhere) when I got out, and I LOVED it! It got stolen ☹. So, she bought me the Galaxy Explorer (497/928) to replace it! 🥰 That was probably my most treasured toy ever. I'm pretty sure my dad got me the Mobile Rocket Launcher, which was pretty cool since it was clearly the only weapon that could damage the mighty Galaxy Explorer 🤓! The last big set Mom bought me was the Yellow Castle (the, by then, new 6075) and since then Castle has been my favorite theme, but the Space sets in this video have always been special to me. Thanks!!!
4:15 yo my family had those 2 baseplates when I was a kid, I think it was from my mother’s home. Theres also a poorly aged white spaceman missing its helmet and legs and also a lone red torso in better condition but missing the rest, I guess they must’ve came from that set. Those baseplates pretty nostalgic tho they were only in ok condition (one had a small part of a corner broken off for example)
originally the red and white spacemen represented white american astronauts and red soviet cosmonauts though i guess that idea was thrown out later as red, white, yellow, blue and black represent pilots, explorers, scientists, security and spies respectively.
I do find it funny that someone who talks Lego can’t build without a booklet telling them what to do next. Lego was designed to build what you can imagine. Lego has gone so far away for its original idea it might have forgotten what it started out. That’s a shame
920 Alpha Base I think it's called. This is the set that popped my LEGO 🍒...err started my lifelong obsession with plastic bits. Aww, this comment is going all wrong.
Did you know set 885 is in the lego star wars game? it's in the space worm's stomach crashed down. I hope those space guys are alright
I didn't! Looks like im gonna have to play through it again, what a shame ;)
Ditto, maybe they just ditched it to keep their mate with the two seater space scooter company

Holy moley you're right!
This RUclips channel really took off, rightfully so! Thanks for your content Robrick!
I'm honestly amazed at how well you put together a video as a new channel with so little exposure. Keep up the amazing work and you'll take off.
dude keep these videos coming, they're pretty darn funny and nice quick info dumps, really like this kinda content
maan put some respect on town
Now this is what I call a retrospective.
I absolutely love 928 about 10 years ago I got it from someone I knew at middle school for $25 I didn’t know at the time how expensive that set was. I got pretty lucky 😂
Now that is a good deal, i had to fork out around £250 for mine 😢
These sets are awesome, truly an iconic era of Lego

Thanks for staying with me
Your videos are just amazing everytime! Thank you!

886 is my all time favorite, was also the 1st set I remember buying for my own money (yes it's a nostalgia thing).
Last time I came this quick to something my girl was mad 😂😂 love the video bro keep it up 💯💯
Old Lego is my favorite :)
Agreed

Glad your enjoying it!

Only the 2nd and 3rd most expensive themes then lol

Id like to see more like this explaining classic sets, really cool
>reminds me of a stove
I actually think that is a Homemaker stove piece!
Your videos are awesome they’re making me want to upload content again, almost 1k subscribers lesgooooo
Great work Robrick!
Thanks 💖
another banger of a video
I love futuristic Lego minifigures like Space Police II and Star Wars.

I’d love to have seen a display that has all the sets laid out together in a simple scene.
I'll keep that in mind for the next one i do 😊
4:22 sounds like my life tbf...
ngl, as a young lego lover, looking at what was given to us back in the day, I love Town, thought I'll admit that space and castle were a bit better
Town is still nice but given the option of going to space or creating medieval battles it just feels bland to me :)
'LEGO Town' ⬅️😭⬅️💀
More classic space videos!
When I was 6 I thought the different colours were because they had different skills n jobs .
I mean
That *is* the case! One of the creators of classic space confirmed it
originally the red and white spacemen represented white american astronauts and red soviet cosmonauts

the jokes in this video are halarious
Bro why you not like town!? (First time on channel btw so don’t know if that is in another video)
haha great video, i love the jokes
we know his opinion on lego town, we know his opinion on lego city, but what about lego world city (a short transition theme between the 2)?
scooter.
my eyes fell immediately at the atlantis box in the intro, nice video, really enjoyed it
Underrated theme in my opinion!
@@RobrickLego i have one set of the theme and it is one of my favorites!

Great video! My LL 924 spaceman have also been doing Amazon Prime shipping before it was cool.
