KLIA is overdue for a total upgrade. The check in so messy, too many confusing signage, retail outlets like in a pasar malam, inadequate customer service personnel, boarding gates lack basic necessities such as drinking water, charging points, lack of seating in the departure/arrival halls, toilets are not clean, lack of passenger centric facilities.
Such plans has long being overdue. Neglected in the past. Imagine for 66 years after independence, our leaders failed to take care of chicken egg businesses, what more to expect of air transportation and services.
@@mortarpestle2294 Its good that Anthony has been honest & disappointed with KLIA. Previous ministers just went for status quo. Now it’s time for action & clean up the mess, not only KLIA but also Malaysia Airlines whose ranking is disappointing together with our public transport service providers.
Change the MAB management. Those directors and senior managers makan gaji buta with no effort to improve the airport facilities & service. Lack of new ideas, they never listen to complaints & suggestions from airport users & public.
Honestly, KLIA was among top 10 in the world before back in the 90's. Bring it back, and replace those who are incapable with the brightest, most progressive and can execute. Human capital is the #1 asset now. With best human capital, can achieve the very best
Anthony Loke is only good at throwing hot air lah, which will lead to nothing but more hot air and empty promises. If he is that good, why not ask him to take over Proton and challenge Tesla and Toyota etc
Alamak! Malaysia KLIA International Airport ranked at the 67th by World Air Travellers Data Reports by Skytrax in 2023! While Singapore Changi Airport is ranked #1 for the 12th Times by Skytrax & again ranked #1 in 2023! We Malaysians should be proud of Changi Airport high achievements since many Malaysians worked for SIA Airlines & SATS of Changi Airport! These goes to show that , we Malaysians can achieved great heights if managed by Good Governance! ... Malaysia Boleh! 🌍💜🕊🇲🇾🇸🇬
For those of who are ignorant or maybe "too young", KLIA was indeed ranked as a top 10 best airports in the world, if I'm not mistaken between 8th - 10th. Malaysia Airlines was also one of the only 5 star airline in the world alongside SQ, Qatar and Emirates I believe. That was in the late 90's, early 2000's. So, Malaysia been there before.
Malaysian should stop indulging in their past glory. The cost of achieving that status cost Malaysia billions to build a spanky new airport and Sepang F1 to enrich Mahathir's cronies, while having no plans or conviction to establish KILA has an air hub. If Malaysia can afford to throw RM100 billion to build a new airrport, I am sure KLIA can reclaim that status again. Malaysia has lot to learn from Changi and Singapore on how to make Changi profitable and thriving.
I challenge Antony Loke to expose the cartel and mafia operating at every level in Klia.... If YB reads this take up my challenge... I can sit in a room with your advisors and yourself and challenge your knowledge of this airport and mine. If I win... You sack your advisors and don't collect a salary for 1 month... If I lose.. I leave Malaysia.
Clean your toilets, solve your immigration queues, improve the ambience, scent etc, improve your transit lounges, transit passengers are sleeping everywhere, your shops close before 10pm like ghost airport ( i guess lack of flights coming and going out after 10pm, have a separate section for bulk of foreign workers ( creating a perception that there are refugees everywhere). It is the whole ecosytem involving the travel industry that must be fixed
Sangat sangat menghampakan dan kecewakan sedang mereka bi bayar gaji ribuan setiap bulan bila nak bangkit problem is top management semua hanya pandai panaskan kerusi
If you're entering the departure side for domestic flights, you will see the ticket checking machine unused and we still need to go through "manual" checks by the polis bantuan. Wasted money there.
Klia is overbuilt for 60 million pax per year. It has 3 runways so its currently only 50% capacity of full potential. So probably because its overbuilt and underutilised, no money for upgrading and maintenance since number of passengers not sufficient to pay for the expansion. Why they built a third runway and second control tower is a mystery. The airport already has a master plan for future expansion but all these set aside when building lcct terminal for airasia. On the rail link between main terminal to satellite terminal, they need another platform to operate a spare coach in case one breaks down. And a tractor on rails to pull a out of service train to the repair platform.
When YB Minister said that I am not happy it means ( politely ) that the board & management are weak , poor , not proactive and probably lazy . When I look at the board & management they are comprised of pak chiks and makchiks who should have gone for retirement 10 years ago. We need new younger team IMHO…
Yes this is super true . MAHB mgmt team critically must changed . Old ways of work just doesn’t work today . Fresher ideas , younger Gen people and talents who can contribute more is vital to rebound back our economy , return back our competitiveness on airport rankings

KLIA deserved its rating. Getting worse and worse. Always short of taxi. Poor choice of retail shops and restaurants. Aerotrain failure is a big disaster. The list can go on and on.. I would blame the previous/current management who is not only has no vision for improvement but fail to maintain the standard klia used to have.

But you have asked MAHB to use their money for rebranding. So where will the money for upgrading come from? Does MAHB have to come up with that too?

Why design aerotrain with 2 trains only? How to do maintenance? 3 or 4 in necessary
klia is very tired looking these days . hopefully Mr. Loke can improve and refresh the airport
Time will tell
Make Malaysia standing in the eyes of the world again 👍🇲🇾✌️☺️

tukar aerotrain baru yb...basic facilities kasi tip top dulu...baru tukar yg kosmetik...all the best
What make airport great is their services. KLIA contractor have been outsources to foreigner to do almost everything.
Klia needs more terminals to expand.
Fun facts:
KLIA highest ranking was number 2 in 2001 and then we fell to 14th in 2013 and keep falling.
Skytrax ranking? Or other agency? If other agency, KLIA was also voted as top 10 in 2020

MAHB CEO - ultimatum to you. Top 10 or you're out.
Can Loke fire him?
Start by fixing the Aerotrain!
Sepatutnya yg lebih kenegaraan sebagai traditional perasmian rasmi yg melambangkan keutamaan utama negara
Fix the damn aerotrains!
Please try to improve regional busy airport like Kota Kinabalu Airport, Toilet conditions not good..
KLIA 2 is much more better than KLIA
I don’t think so.
