Just wanted to tell you how delicious the Italian chicken sandwich’s were . I made them yesterday for my sister and I for dinner I used the crockpot method. It was an enjoyable dinner and being able to share it with my sister. We try to get together at least once a week for sister time and I am always looking for a new recipe to try this one was a winner. And the left overs was divided into smaller meals for two . And vacuum sealing. Witch makes it easy for a quick dinner or lunch. It was hard to start cooking for 1 after my husband passed away and my son moved away. So thank. You for your videos.

That is so funny. My sister has had a lot of cats. One time years ago I was over there and one of the cats got hold of a loaf of bread and pulled it a cross the living room. Her middle son was on leave from these marine corp and had just woke up. He was probably 21 at the time (now 44) and he thought he was seeing things. Itwas so darn funny. Dish looks delicious. Yummy. When my kids were little I gound up peppers and onion so they wouldnt see them in a dish. It worked great! They ate the meal and never complained and hubby and I got the great taste of peppers and onions in our food! Win Win!
Take a big rubber band and put from handle to handle wrapping around knob on lid to secure your slow cooker lid. I do this when transporting mine since i don't have the lock type lid.
Last night I was thinking about making some slow cooker dinners, and here you are this morning. Haper is beautiful! My youngest granddaughter just turned 1, she is also Harper :)
The struggle is real. Our cats are the same. I don’t even really bother to try to keep them out of mischief. The boy is a little terror. I do my best to keep him occupied with toys or his own dinner but often he is following me around wanting attention not necessarily the food. He has a thing he does where he stalks and pounces on my leg then pretend bites and runs away trying to get me to chase him. I find my life funnier with them in it so I just roll with it and laugh it off. Ended up buying my husband a coffee mug one year that says “everything tastes better with cat hair in it”.

Kristin, I think we all have had one of those fur kids that can't stay out of trouble. I had a cat years ago that if you didn't put the pies in the refrigerator or in the cupboard it was hers! 😼 She literally wiped out my Thanksgiving pies one year.

The cat thing is so relatable! Whenever I’m cooking in the slow cooker I put a clean hand towel over the top and over the cord so that my cats will not mess with the cord. Works pretty well for my cats since they don’t try to go underneath.

Instead of ice cream, when the grans come over to visit, I often treat them to chilled avocadoes, as a healthy high protein alternative to ice cream. Sure enough, as soon as they walk through the door, they head for the pantry and ask me, "Gwampa, let's have some more of that wundaful gween vedgebul ice cweam pweez." I hand them each a half of an avocaodo and a spoon. Once they've had their fill, we all go outside and plant the avocado seeds in the backyard,, hoping the family dog doesn't dig it up and eat it before it has a chance to add to the earth's sustainable bounty by growing into a big beautiful avocado tree!!! . I have heard two different hints on using ground Turkey in sub for ground beef! One was to add Worcestershire sauce and the other was to add a tsp of beef Better than Bullion soup starter! They are supposed to make it taste better in recipes and more like beef!

Ritz Chicken sounds good too, I wonder if I could make it in the oven instead of a crockpot, my husband will NOT eat chicken from the crockpot, he says it gets dry hence the oven. I've got two furry cat babies so I know that feeling. And a long-haired daughter oh, she's a teenager so she's probably more feral. We've had them since they were tiny little kittens, they are our ES kitties they are both over 10 years old. I know you can't teach an old dog new tricks but you can teach an old cat new tricks oh, I newly taught them both how to open my bedroom door. So when my hands are full or it's feeding time, whatever I need assistance with opening the door cuz I have muscle and nerve damage as well. My boy loves walks and car rides and our little girl won't go anywhere near the door cuz she was born in and abandoned in the snow so she wants nothing to do with outside

I found that the IP slow cooker function is not nearly as hot a temp as my Crock Pot slow cooler temp! Even with the highest temp setting, my IP doesn't get as hot as my old Crock Pot. I actually thought it was faulty, until I looked it up online and saw that it's a documented issue with IPs. For that reason, I use my 35 year old Crock Pot for slow cooking, and my IP for pressure cooking. Sad that I wasted money buying a slow cooking lid for my IP!
We do not like using the Instant Pot as a slow cooker. The temps are not the same as on a slow cooker. So if you do use it, watch your food carefully!!

How do you convert an Instapot recipe to a slow cooker recipe. I am trying to convince all my friends that they need an Instapot but most are pretty stubborn. I have a recipe for chicken tortilla soup that they just love, so can they just put all the ingredients into their slow cooker?

I love food cooked in slow cookers but unfortunately my crazy family are picky but me I eat everything as long as it doesn't look gross . I will be trying these anyhow. Just make a smaller portion. You could adapt it to the oven. Just be sure your chicken cooks through.

LOL about nosy kitty. You need one of those slow cookers with lid locks. And stepping on tin foil placed on the counters creeps most cats out.

I love food cooked in slow cookers but unfortunately my crazy family are picky but me I eat everything as long as it doesn't look gross . I will be trying these anyhow. Just make a smaller portion. Thank you lovely ladies and thanks for showing us your beautiful girls. That baby is so cute I could reach in and squeeze those cheeks.
