There used to be loads in London then they got withdrawn and sent elsewhere in the UK, there’s not too many of them left in public service around the UK anymore!
This Exstagecoach Citaro G ZF's has a kickdown that sounds a bit like a lorry but pretty similar to fire engine's oldest Mercedes Atego that roars around the streets while having sirens on and it was Great Meeting you on the same day, Great journey :)
It goes well for a bus that weigh's much more than standard single decker's. I've been on a few Citaro's myself and it feel's like you're getting towed by another bus when going round corners.
@@Frozzles It reminds more me of 6 cyl E200's with Allison gearboxes as it's changing gear much higher. It's probably been programmed to do that and the Citaro's are only 6.4l anyway
DAMN! That is one of the lengest citaros i have ever heard on my own life! Even heard it on max volume on AirPods Pros! Gosh cant wait to ride on that if it strays next week with the right driver😍😍😍😍😍😍😍🥵🥵🥵🥵
Your the man who gets the good drivers and the good stuff when i don't.... :( But anyways, Nice video and this is one of the lengest citaros i've ever heard in my fucking life, Fun fact: This first came new on Route 25 when Stagecoach worked the route in the old days.... My fucking god fav part is 0:10 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍🥵🥵🥵🥵 ty for the memories my guy
@Frozzles LX04 230xx never done 453 I don't know whenever it did since when 453 never had them since these 23036-77 are zf were enw to 25 and 23001-35 are voith for 453 (some went on the 25 following of some loss of some zf 230xx have caught fire before all bendies withdrawn back in 2011) that's the infomation for you to let you know :)
Great video dude, good to hear what these sound like as not much can be heard up front!
Thanks mate! Yeah they’re very lovely at the back, not surpised it can’t be heard ‘18 meters’ away! 😂
@@Frozzlesnow rotting away at Beesmeer Road MOT centre 😢
Probably the best Citaro G kickdown ive heard by far. Good journey hoping to see more of this in the future too
Thank you, definitely looking to get more of the buried treasures we’ve been missing soon

Ooooh, an accordion bus in the uk! Interesting! We have those buses here in America, but I don’t think I’ve seen a video of them in Britain.

Because it’s got a massive 6cylinder, 348hp engine to handle the weight😅
@@Frozzles The extra power has made up for the extra weight.

12l engine in these😛
@@will_n775 I don't really like Bendy buses that much but the Citaro Bendy Bus is ok.

Yeahh it’s so good with Airpods on, you can hear it so clearly!
The only time when Bendy Buses make a return
Great video. ☺️ By the way the ZF is more audible if you sit one row in front by the wheel arch.
Thanks, and yeah I’ve heard it before, sounds amazing
The bus has the OM906 engine. But great video thanks for recording.
My bad, I’ll change that now. No problem and thank you too
woah at 6:03 looked like he went fast over a speed ramp or whatever it was :D
Yeah just a really big bump🤣

Yeahh I remember these on 25 back in the day, they sound brilliant! Also no problem bro🤘🏾
For how long will this Rail Rep be? I want to go there on June, 5th...
I’m not actually sure to be honest, usually Clapham rail replacement is ongoing, it’s very frequent
It won’t be out on June 5th unfortunately.
Were these on the 453?
Yep they used to do 453 I believe!

Pretty sure these were on 25
Was this ride for. Free? I guess not as it'd a rail replacemrnt means that it's revunuew protected but let me know if not
It was for free
