WHAT THE FUCK THIS WAS THE SWEETEST SAIOU VIDEO I HAVE EVER WATCHED NOT EVEN LYING DUDE,,, like there are so many amazing videos of these two but this just fully captures the meaning of true love. it's always hard to love, because there are so many battles being faced all at once, and you may feel like a burden, but true love means fighting them all together and rising up from them, even if a split has to happen in the process. i usually dislike soulmate string, but the metaphor here was actually so perfect, especially for kokichi who cut ties with everyone before his death, and the string only being cut when the partner is dead. and the string being tied back,,,, they CHOSE to be together by tying it again. and i think there's something that's so pure about that, being bound by fate, but staying by choice. THIS is the type of saiou that i live for.
your artstyle is really unique and refreshing to look at, and the way this entire thing was executed really???? those interactions were just so cute UGH, the hints of pregame were a really nice touch with the whole soulmate idea (past life lovers

Congrats, this made me cry. Happy tears. It perfectly captures the love that Kokichi had for Shuichi, and Shuichi's guilt. Them growing attached to eachother, only to be violently and yet somehow gently ripped from eachother, and then reunited again after everything, and the emotions they shared in that moment. The music, the color pallette, everything mixed into one beautiful animation that will now hold a place in my heart as the only animation to ever make me feel sad and happy at the same time
