After 10,000 years, this game has finally come.
facts
this game's release represents a victory against woke cancel culture
@@cagneybillingsley2165 Hopefully getting rid of pride day at baseball games is next.
I was there Gandalf. I was there 8000 years ago, when the game was announced.
For damn sure and can’t wait to get into this game on release tomorrow! Hopefully gonna be a badass early access
the audio of them speaking reacting with accurate reverb indoors is scary and cool
dude, this game brings back memories of clearing buildings in the early days in mosul. or the caves in afg. shit is crazy.
Did they ever expand the basic CQB course for infantry after all this?
Thank you, and glad you made it home.
@@iRacerJared yes, we did so much battle drill 6 after this.
@iRacerJared I went through In 2016 and we had a 1 day block on it.
No advanced TTPs, just basic POLR immidiate entry, straight from the Ranger Handbook.
Learned more LP/hybrid techniques at our unit. Had a bunch of swat guys in our guard unit. I'm told not every unit is the same in embracing new stuff tho.
I'm not American but thank you for your service. Glad you're back home safe.
I used to work with someone that was actually in this battle in 04. It sounded like a total madhouse. Im glad this game has come out to give us a very small sample of it.
so much for ''weapons of mass destruction'' horse shit lies they fed us hahah Still we needed to go do what we do for our country. I can't look at our government same way after that
I can only imagine the fear, stress and adrenaline pumping going through all those buildings. This game is gonna be so awesome!
I was 14 when I heard about this game I told all my friends and family ….. I’m now 28 years old and been waiting
Same man!! I can’t believe it, I can’t believe I’m alive to see it!
I'm also 28 and I heard about it last week. Think I'm gonna get this one when it drops too
I'm 31
I think 18 years
same mate ahahaha
To all my Veterans out there ! How do you feel about this game ? Honest opinion.
not a veteran but I will say its sad that this game got delayed for so long bc people back in the early 2000 really though this would disrespect vets but rather it shines a light to the lives they lived through
I think it’s good. The weirdest part about being a combat veteran is that people will either treat you like a hero or a villain, when in reality all you want them to know is just what it feels like. Combat feels like what id imagine playing in the Super Bowl does with how much pressure is on you.
- what I wish people could understand is how insanely fucking scared you are-it’s a fear that just injects itself right into your bones and paralyzes you, and all the concussion from gunshots or rockets just makes you want to burrow yourself into the dirt like a mole and hide from all of it.
- I can’t speak for other vets but it’s not about being seen as a tough guy or a hero or a “real man”, I just want the average person to understand what it feels like to be in so much fear that it transports your mind to a different place and you rely on your bros heavily that I feel more of a connection to the dudes I didn’t even like on my deployment than I do my own blood.
@cook7973 your message need to be heard more. People are too closed minded on this. Especially in times to come.
I am super hyped for this dude. The one thing about combat is that many times you feel like you are in a dream, you feel like you're viewing yourself in third person and you're floating through the situation and are running on pure animal instinct and training. It differs from person to person honestly. But the fear is with you, either in the situation or for some people it comes later and you end up vomiting and some people even piss themselves without knowing. Its a pure adrenaline rush and usually in that moment you just shut down and roll through.
The stories need to be tole.
Can't believe it's finally here! Thanks DD and thanks for your service brother. You're a super underappreciated RUclipsr man.
I remember YEARS ago when it was announced then cancelled because of backlash
@@Napalmburns
Yeah, was also a third person shooter back then also right? From what I remember lol.
@@Rizzbulla uuh yeah i think you're right. I was exited af for it.
@@Napalmburns Same here. Glad it's finally seen the light of day.

I waited all these years and my potato PC can even run it lol. Such shame.
I'm going to sink so many days, hours, minutes, seconds, sleepless nights into this game. Cannot wait.
cinematics look so amazing! the 10 plus years it took to make this game was worth it for this master piece
oh man i love that these POVs are all uploaded in different videos. havent seen something like this since 2012 lol.
As a vet of Fallujah in 07. This looks pretty good. Looks very accurate to the actual city.

Not accurate or realistic enough. No actual camel jockeys died. Also, you did not do your jobs properly. There are still those damn camel jockeys still alive, both young and old. George Bush should have just dropped the nuke.
I don't think I can wait for this to come out on console man the radio chatter and hearing your squad in different parts of the building is so good!
Buzzing cant wait for this on console aswell
My brother was in Afghanistan years ago. He was issued a M249 SAW. He told me that once, dyring a firefight, a kid about 10 years old ran around a corner right at my brother, holding an AK47 and the SAW "turned him into swiss cheese". Later on in his deployment the US air force dropped bombs on a couple of his squad mates: Justin Clause and Aaron Toppen. My brother was supposed to go with them but his equipment failed, so Aaron took his place. My brother was a totally different person when he came home.
im sure he’d be thrilled with you telling his story in a youtube comment. idk but seems like something someone would tell another person in confidence.
It’s no secret war can affect the soul and psyche you muppet, what’s with all the reticence?
@@peasantt- thats a bizarre take, hes not ripping on him, hes telling the truth, which is someones story. it may be painful to the one who experienced it but thats all the more reason to tell the story. it isnt just a crazy shock value thing its a genuine account of the horrors that happened there. suppressing it only would nullify the humanity of the soldier and kid. people who want to hide history are weird and ignorant
@@peasantt- his story deserves to be told. I’m glad ik it. Wish ik his name
Thank you for your story. We need stories like this so edgy kids will be reminded that real war is not Call of Duty.
As someone who participated in Operation Al Fajr (and Vigilant Resolve for that matter), and operated in Fallujah throughout 2004 and 2005, I just hope that this game doesn't suck and does right by my fellow Marines. It'd really piss me off if it turns into another _Insurgency: Sandstorm_ or some FPS class-based shooter which gets a "tactical" label but completely lacks any actual small unit tactics, like the bastardized _Rainbow Six_ and _Ghost Recon_ games.
I really don’t think this game will go that route. I only played about 20 minutes but it felt really similar to ready or not if you’ve ever played/seen that. I have high hopes and this game could really be something special if we give it time
@@Oscar-yk6ww Agreed. I have high hopes.
How about it also does right by the million dead iraqis too? Show a bit of the war crimes the Americans committed on a daily basis
@@Yaaddaa I assume it will go into detail. It shows a movie explaining the war from both sides when you first launch the game so it seems to be going for historical accuracy but time will tell I suppose
@@Oscar-yk6ww let’s hope it doesn’t end being a one sided propaganda piece but in the current state its just a brainless kill the stereotype looking terrorist simulator
My question is for any Fallujah vets out there: How did you keep track of the houses that were cleared?.... was there a marking system of some sort?. Also thank you for your bravery and service ....
You mark the wall by the door with company and platoon number/letter.
Colored flags, chemlights… etc.
Don't worry! We all don't make it through it!
"motivational speech from devil dog"
The way you guys move and communicate is top tier. I’d go to combat with you fellas any day.
This may be the most intense game video I have ever seen! My heart is racing from watching this game!
I've imagined what it's be like being in a band of brothers, but this just takes the imagination to a whole new nightmare
Just downloaded this on early access 2 hours ago. Have so far tried playing as a single marine. Have died many many times, only killing a max of 5 enemy before dying in my best attempt. I love how each time you play, the building interiors are different and the enemies are in different locations. This is going to be an immense game when the full version is released. Will try and se if I can do this mission alone but have more chance of winning the lottery I would predict. I have one book specifically about this battle but am going to see if any more are available. It was a mini Stalingrad.
Yh this game is unreal from the content it has the potential is huge and now the games functional, I hope the devs continue to fulfill it. The teamwork is the best ive done yet blown my mind with audio, just a few things need tweaking but overall the fps I've been looking for. Full of immersion, finally no COD players going rambo and every class has a purpose, quality game.
As a 11b this looks pretty good. Can’t wait to try it out, definitely brings back memories.
Good rolling with you! If your trying to get some BattleBit in as well let me know!
Thanks for the content. Can’t wait. Almost here. Most importantly, to those who served. Thanks so much for your service.
Sims like this in VR would be epic
That feel when the voice chat sounds more realistic than the pre scripted AI
Hey DevilDog, super glad you’re covering this game. I’ve been following it for years and am hoping it comes to Series X, don’t have a PC yet. Was watching some videos recently about Iraq and was wondering, did you guys ever hear about Baghdad Bob while you were deployed? Hope this gets answered.
If it dose come on Xbox u trying to play
It is gonna be coming to xbox, ps next year when the full game releases.
@@gettimabodybag6213 hell yeah let’s go get some
Boys
I used to hate building clearing back in the day.
*me who has turned into a fossil*
Ah that game is out now
Animation and special effects need major work, but what we've here is quite special.
RAHHHHH!!! lets fuckin go!!!! been waiting for this game for 3 years lmfao.
BUT you could shoot at mosque if you had P.I.D being engaged from there.
Shawn Ryan has a clip of some guys he’s interviewed that participated
PBS has a decent doc about it coming up on 20yr anniversary.
I will never forget these years of enlistment.
possibly later on when they modified the roe once command was made aware of such cowardly tactics. in the beginning of the campaign, us forces were still on hearts and minds mode. that goes out the window when your buddies are dying
Early roe prohibited any engagement on religious sites regardless of pid. That got modified later on because the insurgent forces realized that they could use those sites to take advantage of our roe.
@cagneybillingsley2165 explains the number of war crimes committed by American forces in Iraq I guess
@@tercel9710 the path of evil often begins from the pain of love
Yours, is literally the ONLY opinion I care about for this game.
Agreed. Devildog and controlled pairs (also in this video) are the only ones whose opinions I really care about with this
Damn , the bots (the enemies ) actually speak Iraqi slang . Wow pretty cool .
I like how they acted as if they were real marines but they were so uncoordinated and just strayed off by themselves occasionally
It's a game and the channel owner has for sure served in the same or similar war. FYI.
@@HartJon282he was an infantry Marine with 3rd Light Armor Reconnaissance, fought in Ramadi in 06
Not engaging a mosque, well that brings back some (fucked up) memories.
this is the military shooter i've been craving my whole life. but not yet, imma wait for single player. having friends is one thing, having competent military ones is another
The 5 hours I played today was amazing, sure there is some people that don't get the teamwork aspect of it but once we lose a couple that start to get the hang of it. And the audio is a bit buggy but that's what ealy access is about. So far its a 8/10 but it'll definitely be a 10/10 with a few more tweaks
Should have a secret ending where you write "separation of church and state" on a m203 round and take out the sniper.
YO THEY ACTUALLY GOT THE REAL BLUE BONGO. No other military simulattion has so accurately presented the legendary workhorse of the insurgency, the blue bongo. Every suspicious military age male worth knowing was riding around in a blue bongo in the mid to late 2000s in western iraq
I hope they work on the explosion noises & ambience outside of buildings, other than that it looks very promising
looks good and the voip audio sounds nice. Imagine clearing these buildings with a 20" barrel...
Imagine this studio create more games similar to this. I can imagine playing as Kurdish forces fighting ISIS.
Thanks to whole humanity's stupidity, there's always be a historical foundation for such games
People are dumb, so war keeps going on.
The flashlights being POS is a nice touch.
Glad to see someone playing with IRON sights.
Apartment is probably the easiest mission other than Phase Line Henry (convoy). The hardest mission is usually Northern Train Station, although Jolan Park can be difficult too
this game looks really good. crazy to think i've been watching you since like 2012, and almost the whole time we've been waiting for this lol
this game is going to be fucking incredible!
Yo devildog at 5:47 I just want to commend you on that barrel and trigger control friendly fire incident averted good job
Looking awesome that they finally make it happen after a couple of years when the game was canceled great gameplay dude.🙌🙌👏👏👍👍👌👌
Ya'll just left grover to fend for himself. Some friends you are 😂
The AAR at the end is so fucking cool, and is a great way to show the stats.
Summary of gameplay: FUCK FUCK FUCK! Love it!
Mostly a Nintendo switch gamer now but this is the 1st pc game since half-life 2 that is seriously tempting me to go back to the master race😊 this looks amazing and console ports could be fun but its made for pc in my opinion
You know *munches on burger* I think this procedurally generated map thing is going to be the bomb… no pun intended.
“Did you kill me?!” “Noooo…”
What are the reactions from soldiers who were over there in this time depicted in-game?
does this have AI teammates? i remember that being advertised, i wonder if its any good. the cut scenes look awesome.
will be nice to hold us over until the next ready or not update
They will be added soon but we have to wait for the update they are trying to polish the team so it's a good experience

Thank you for your service devil! Great video 👍🏼
I really hope it wont take long to mod the game to have more than 4 players in the same coop session. The amount of angles to cover with just a fireteam is overwhelming, even a full sized squad would be hard pressed in the same situation.
This is the only thing I didn’t really like on the roadmap. I expected there to be like 6-8 people missions but I’m sure mods will come soon
It was so frustrating not being able to fire the mosque I remember time and time again it's not at not being able to do anything about it
It would be dope to be able to invade the game like sniper elite 5 and be the sniper. But you cant move since you cant ve engaged.
i couldn't even tell if the tinnitus from 5:32 is from the game until i took off my headphones
This game looks promising. But i will wait until the full release. There are too many early access games that never made it to the full release
I just want to say, the tinitus that they fade in when you walk deep into a building is off-puting.
The shooting seems pretty clunky. The sound design is pretty good except the one time at 04:28 where the guy is shooting at you almost point blank. When is this due out?
Tomorrow
Am getting some old school black hawk down vibes. I love it.
Me and 2 of my friends buyed it and only thing we really hate is the timer. You get 15-20 minutes missions while we could spent even an hour going room by room, house by house looking for caches, IED's and enemy combatants instead of that we kinda had to rush everything just because of timer.
Complain about it in the Steam discussions. The devs will listen to you. After all it's still in Early Access and a lot could change but you need to let them know.
It should have been an 8 man squad. It's overwhelming for a four man team to clear buildings.
Want a minimalist hud setting that only shows vital info for those who want zero hud but newd to know: how many mags left, how many bullets in my mag. Everything else, checking wounds doesnt need it and i hate how big that text is on the screen. But not being able to check your mag or remaining mags withnhud off sucks
And all that happened in a single building, nuts
Why are the sights not aligned when you ads? Is it so that your view doesn't get blocked by the rear sight? Edit: It's not really ADS I guess? I can see actual ADS now which is normal
Point shooting, so your field of view isn't obscured by the rear sight
its a really good starting point for this game solid foundation for improvements and additions,
counting down the hours for tommorows launch
pls midnight release kthx

Must of been the longest 6 days of our troop’s life
My old unit was in this battle. 1st BN/8th Marine Regt.
Games are getting so realistic.
Hopefully they add the option to have more than 4 guys and you can have morr then one firing teams.
Excited to play soon.
I wanna see the single player,
And the squad mechanics
Solo and coop only available so far. No ai squadmates yet, still waiting on campaign and Operator missions to release
Cant wait for it to come out 7 years for console
I want the Devs to add more factions like Special forces, British military or Iraqi military with different weapons, uniform and such.
Dev has confirmed on their FAQ they are being added in the future.
there are seals in the game, also the engine looks like it might be unreal engine 4 or 5, originally they had used a proprietary atomic engine but i think they switched. ue has a lot of documentations and tools for it, it will be simple to mod new characters, weapons, objects, etc
Time to upgrade my computer so I can play this 😂
I’m not tryna ask for toooo much and the game looks dope, I wish there was a way to drag a downed teammate and do the healing animation. Ya know get fire superiority then get the wounded to cover
Will there be vehicle control in this game?
This game is meant to revive PTSD for the veterans
If this game is coming to next gen, I’d definitely buy
16:15 lmao
My big brother who’s a former marine is so incredibly intrigued with this game and asked me to show him some videos of it. About five minutes later he asked me to turn it off because it was bringing shit back that he wants to keep locked away but he still wants to play it when it comes out dispute my slight protest to him playing it
Devil dogs Hu -Rah
Will the final version either relegate you to pairing up with friends online or going in alone, building after building?
As per the roadmap they hope to have fully fledged co-op and singleplayer randomly generated missions as well as accurately recreated missions from the actual war with real people and such. So at full release it should please just about everyone
Is this the same devil dog gamer from back in the DayZ days?!?
What's up guys
The guys "fuck off" 😂
I can't wait to play this with my friend on console
I'm pretty sure playing this with me would suck with me constantly yelling WTF are you doing get back in the building
“Because guess what? You can’t shoot at mosques.” The level of hyper-realism extends to crazy nonsensical ROEs. They’d have to court martial me because that sniper would be getting a closed casket funeral.
Amazing feel to the game
Movement speed needs a boost. I get we have heavy gear etc but if your lifes in danger you would move quicker even for a cuple seconds.
