XG the flyest female crew on the planet. I'm old skool and these young ladies are my ride or die. Their mix of ultra level talent, fire charisma, swag and aura are seriously insane. If they don't absolutely explode globally it will be 100% criminal. One thing that sets XG apart from any other group is you can see and feel how much they are loving what they are doing and its 100% genuine. It's infectious. Destiny's child- Say my name with the bright colourful rooms and furniture. MJ and Janet Scream- space ship scene and Aalyiah for sure. I was so impressed and the nostalgia hit me hard! So far I haven't seen any other group do this style better than XG , With 4 rappers who can also sing and 3 incredible vocalists combined with hard hitting top tier choreo. You have a super group. or a group of ( Xtraordinary Girls). I'm not sure if they did but their PR department should have promoted both " Shooting Star " and " Left Right " directly into the U.S. and Europeon market. I know now that they used the Kpop industry's music shows and norm to help promote their music towards western audiences by using all English songs, but from the responses I see, I think these 2 songs would have done well. People who hear the songs for the first time wouldn't even know they were an all Japanese 7 member group, 1 who is part Australian and 1 who part Korean. XG is also a name people would not suspect either but would be asking " Who is this group ? how many are there ? And because KPOP has drawn a western audience, they will find XG a refreshing super talented group of 7 members bringing back great memories and styles of artists they enjoyed as well as new and younger fans who enjoy this style. Top tier from production, editing, sets, make-up, stylists both hair&clothing style, choreography and most of all ,the talent of all 7 members of this group. I have many groups I like depending on my taste which varies. XG is # 1 in this style of mixing rap, hip-hop,vocal harmonies and impressive choreography.

As someone who was in HS during y2k, I completely agree with the whole TLC, Destiny’s child, Aaliyah, Moesha thing. In fact TLC was the first thing I thought of when watching them.
to be honest, I don't think they are the same type of y2K Newjeans is more inspired by R&B and y2k I said a little more clean version of it but XG is doing y2k and R&B in his real forms, they are more on the side of Japanese y2K and Harajuku and I love bot version.
Actually I don’t listen kpop anymore but i think that the only difference is kpop even you add some part of any other generes you will know is still kpop but XG not since TIPPY TOES I knew that XG music itself wasn’t Kpop and I’m happy the girls recently said it 🎉😊

All xg videos are all finished products of their label. All your comparisons and ideas and insisting that they are influence by some past groups is all speculations and assumptions. And we are witnessing xg's talents, stop saying and directing viewers to some other past groups. If you respect the group that your reacting now you would not do that. I don't think xg team need someòne like your kind of reactors to promote xg, it is a waste of money from xg's team and label. Hope xg should be cautious in choosing personnel to promote xg's talents.
