The woman who collected all those amazing pieces through her life time had a true love for collecting. She must of had some increadable party's at her home. That was amazing. My mother has a large collection of Bjorn Winblad pottery. (The blue and white statues with the 3D faces) as well as many other Rosenthal pieces.
I see that even a true mid century collector is a more is more person. I would want all of those amazing sculptures, pottery pieces, furniture, fabric, ugh. I’m in awe.
this is literally what my grandparents house looked like and I am so upset I couldn't keep so much of the amazing MCM items and that I didn't appreciate the extensive collections they had because I was 16 years old when we cleared out their home:(
I loved seeing you on Jocelyn’s live from Ohio. I follow several of the people in that group, and it was delightful to see you all together. I wish I could go to the PDX sale. I live in Eugene, but will be celebrating all things UO Ducks all weekend with my son’s family. At 66, I am at the point where buying new/old treasures isn’t going to happen (we’re trying to downsize for a future move to a retirement community) but I love to join all of the You Tubers on their hunts for treasures! I have learned so much, especially from CLL. Good luck at your sale, and I’ll keep enjoying your videos when you get them put online.

I didn't buy them because I knew what they were or who made them...just because I liked them. Oh good lord! I live in Florida and we have some pretty epic estate sales here, but I have never seen anything like this! The art, the furniture and wall units, the pottery, the glass, and all that Pendleton fabric.. I’m drooling! And was that a rack of vintage clothing too 😭 The anxiety I would have if I was there, I would lose my mind…I can only imagine what the turnout will be!!

I really like how you talk about being respectful of the homeowners re not filming in the estate sale houses. Having just had my very first ever yard sale after living in my house for 30 years, and seeing first hand how disrespectful people were OUTside my house, I can only imagine how I'd feel if I were having people IN my house...although I do recognize that estate sales are generally when someone's passed on... you're right though that the family is often times going thru all that (and I've done the clear out on my grandfather's house so I have a bit of an idea). I know this is an older video, but not having been to an estate sale before, this was very helpful and I hope you are able to do more of the partnering. Thx again for sharing all of this! Also, I would love to have met this person!

I have never come across a purse with looked sliced wine corks, and you’re right it was gorgeous! Can you imagine how long it took to make?! I have however, had one of the leather handbags in high school in my junior and senior high school years ( 1976-1977 ). I’ve noticed the set of plates ( yellow and orange ), we had an avocado set ( plates, bowls and tea cups ).
This is THE most AMAZING collection that I’ve ever seen. I could not have dreamt of so many beautiful items. I’m almost sad that I can’t be there to see in person this collection. Outstanding. Thank you for sharing this with us.

I was at one amazing eclectic sale a few years back in Dunnellon, Fl. The woman was the daughter of a famous artist and I still drool over the large scope of MCM collectables and her fun clothing and accessories! This sale however is amazing!

That collection of Mid Century Modern really took me back to my children neighbourhood in Toronto, Ca. Friends of my parents who lived across the street's home was totally in that style. I can close eyes and visualize it still. Best of luck with your flea market sale.

I LOVE that you mentioned respecting the home owners/sellers and shoppers who may not wanting to be filmed. Although I do love watching yours and many other youtubers shop with me videos that is always in the back of my mind. I am a very high anxiety person and I would have a panic attack if someone was recording me on their videos. I also wish and have tried to record shopping but I haven’t recorded other people. Also I haven’t posted haha. But yea this estate sale is so cool and you are super sweet!
It's really wonderful that you were able to film this collection before it was dispersed. Fabulous! I have been volunteering to set up a huge university library bok sale twice a year for the past twenty years. I do this to be able to see the books because all the great ones get snatched up in the first ten minutes of the presale. In the past there were many antiquarian books but there are few now.
AMAZING! 😍 I just bought a bunch of art and pottery through a similar (slightly smaller) estate auction and when I went to pick it up, I felt the spirit of the woman who left those treasures behind. OMG!! I've never been to an estate sale but this one had me swooning! The red/chocolate Lion was probably extremely valuable! Loved the mid-century wall units- I loved EVERYTHING you showed us!! I wish I could go and to your flea market event too! I lived in Springfield, Ohio 2006-2008 on N. Limestone. Hopefully, you got a chance to visit Schuller's Bakery! It is THEE BEST bakery in Ohio! I LOVE that you mentioned respecting the home owners/sellers and shoppers who may not wanting to be filmed. Although I do love watching yours and many other youtubers shop with me videos that is always in the back of my mind. I am a very high anxiety person and I would have a panic attack if someone was recording me on their videos. I also wish and have tried to record shopping but I haven’t recorded other people. Also I haven’t posted haha. But yea this estate sale is so cool and you are super sweet!

It's really wonderful that you were able to film this collection before it was dispersed. Fabulous! I have been volunteering to set up a huge university library bok sale twice a year for the past twenty years. I do this to be able to see the books because all the great ones get snatched up in the first ten minutes of the presale. In the past there were many antiquarian books but there are few now.
AMAZING! 😍 I just bought a bunch of art and pottery through a similar (slightly smaller) estate auction and when I went to pick it up, I felt the spirit of the woman who left those treasures behind. She was a beautiful curator of color and style. I bet you felt some of that connectivity in this home too. 💕

One of the most amazing & unique collections, I would have loved to see it in person. wow. Was it an estate sale open to the public, or collectors only? I wouldn't be surprised if someone wealthy bought the entire collection or large portions of it, just stunning, you are quite lucky!
