69, Washington State...local band growing up in southern Cal was Van Halen, from nearby Pasadena.
Saw a lot of great bands in concerts in the 70's & 80's...too many to choose from.
Last favorite band wasn't the local Boyz (Van Halen), but UFO during the Schenker era.
Quit going to concerts after the 80's...seems like too many bands burned out, members died, etc, and nothing great in the rock genre behind them.
Bands just couldn't write songs like they used to and rock stagnated...quit listening to the radio and just recycled great, enormous rock bands from the 60's, 70's & 80's, mostly.
Always wondered what happened to rock...almost asked my brother who was a great lead guitarist what happened to rock but don't think I ever did.
Finally got to the point I didn't hardly ever listen to my thumb drive in my car stereo much anymore which has hundred's of the best classic rock/hard rock from yesteryear
Fast forward to 2023, when for whatever reason I decided to listen to a song by this all girl band.
      Hey, that's awesome...but probably a fluke!
Let's listen to another one of theirs...good stuff...and another...wow...do these young girls wite any bad songs?
Or are most of these covers...like Sandman?
Can't remember what song of theirs I heard first and whether it was a single song or I clicked on the most awesome full Teatro Metropolitan concert recorded a year before...which was new enough to have Evolve for an encore.
But by the end of the night, I had watched the phenomenal Teatro Metro concert and much, much more, which happened to end with this beautiful audio song, The End...and I wondered if that was them...later to find out it was one of my favorite Warnitg and Paulina songs.
I decided by the end of the night before reading hundreds of 99% positive comments that this was a phemomenom...the best band in the world and probably the best band since the late 80's or 90's!
I went out on a limb within days and announced on my fakebook page that The Warning (TW/DPA) is the best rock band in the world with mega talent in the three sisters...two of the three are superstars (both lead singers) and the drummer is my favorite drummer of all time!
And nobody in decades has come close to the superb song writing of this band!
Which along with the exceptional lead vocals & harmonies makes them easily the choice of pronouncing them as The Best.
I did have an encounter with them years ago as I did come across a lot of their older videos and remember sharing one of them years ago of this little girl beating the shit out of a drum kit...recognized the video as soon as I came acrossed it again.
I felt it worthy of sharing years ago, a girl...little girl like that whacking the drums like that!
And wouldn't you know...I love all three and including their parents with much respect but that little drummer became my voted #1 superstar of the three sisters even though all three are mega talented.
      So...that's how I got hooked!
From the first night of ever hearing them other than that drummer featured video years ago when Paulina was just a little girl and they no doubt were playing a cover tune.
I felt younger...I smiled or giggled everytime Pau did that scream at the end of the bridge in Evole...reminded me of Roger Daultry from The Who, We Won't Get Fooled Again...when I was very young.
They and their music was a breath of fresh air...believe it helped me through the cancer death of my younger sister last November...and other 'Golden Years' ordeals.
It was wonderful and I felt like I was reliving the 80's.
I share them a lot on my fakebook page, trying to show my friends what they are missing and that they can fill young again just by 'following' this amazing sisters and have said several times since last year...I'm not going to recant what I stated last year about them being the best band in the Worls and best band since the last few decades...the best band in the XXI Century.
Nobody comes close in songwriting and vocals...like comparing apples with oranges.
And I'm sure I'm not alone...but I really love reading the comments under their videos and watching interviews and some 'reaction' videos and other fun stuff of the girls & the gang just having fun and expressing the love.
      Who'd a thunk it...Three Sista's reviving rock...single handedly!

There will be another single coming out soon titled Hell You Call A Dream, that one and S!CK were debuted live last year and that's why they're getting released now before the whole album drops. Aside from this, they have three amazing albums and one standalone single behind them. First two albums (XXI Century Blood and Queen of the Murder Scene) are independently produced and third album ERROR is their label debut. QOTMS is a concept album released in 2018 when they were 13-18 years old, XXICB is from 2017. Absolutely incredible what they were able to create at such a young age, and they played live so well even back then. They also have an EP from 2015 which were their first original creations, so along with tons of content on their channel and elsewhere there's a whole history of their evolution as a band documented for anyone to see.

They're on album 4 now and my favourites are actually 1 and 3. 1 has some incredible songs on it considering they were 11, 14 and 16, then Error was the lockdown album and I guess they had more time and space. The second album was a concept album about a murderous teenage girl, which is just what you'd want considering their ages at the time 😅

Being a bassist may influence my liking of this band but still, live...there arent many bands today who offer a more visually entertaining show of energy. Their beauty and youth also lend a lot to our struggle to keep rock music in a place where the youth of today will access it and hopefully latch on!

It's their finest piece of art they've made so far. Their videographer Ivan who usually records and edits their aftermovies is the director and postproduction behind this video and music video of their previous single MORE. Great stuff from him, my favorite parts are all the retro styles and touches, like the old 2000s digital camera aka Petunia (yes they gave it a name lol) that is used to record aftermovies, they complement their "vintage but modern" sound well.

The Warning is a Mexican rock band formed by three sisters: Daniela, Paulina and Alejandra Villarreal. They are fantastic musicians who play with passion, energy and skill. Their music is powerful, catchy and original, blending elements of hard rock, alternative rock and heavy metal. All their albums are gems that showcase their talent and creativity. They have released four albums so far: Escape the Mind (2015), XXI Century Blood (2017), Queen of the Murder Scene (2018) and Error (2022). They have also performed at various festivals and events, such as the Mother of All Rock Festival, The Ellen DeGeneres Show and TEDx. They have received praise and recognition from famous rock artists, such as Kirk Hammett from Metallica, Lzzy Hale from Halestorm and Matt Bellamy from Muse. They are conquering the world with their talent and music, and they are an inspiration for young rockers everywhere. My best and dear hardrock band in this planet ! I love them.
