Very very interesting what you had to say about ‘i term’ and decending wobble. Im using i = 0.6 and still getting a fair amount of wobble which I thought was just normal prop wash. I’ll try reducing even further to see what happens
Hi Mate, I am also struggling with I term. In my case everything looks perfect till I set I Gains to 0, with any I Gain value it starts overshoot. Have you tried to fly with I Gains wit 0?
@@danielnoname8352 it’s fine but for reasons I don’t understand I know it’s required. I know the response plots may look great but for i-term but have a look in the time series plots and you’ll see the benefits of I-term
Big thumbs up for this video I love how you emphasize on how it feels instead of numbers and science and it's about "your flying and their quad. Nice job. I think a good video would be just running down the sliders breaking them down into a easier understanding then What they give ... which is way better than 4.2. But it did cover a lot in the is thanks. Great content as always
Great video, very nice tutorial. Thank you. Out of interest, did you leave your DD at 0 as there is no mention of it once tune is complete :) Many thanks
I know I should learn this but everything in me just wont start 😂 i notice some wierd sound from my motors or esc that is probably coming from my tuning.
Hi Mate, I have build exactly the same Quadmula Siren F5 Split as you have, now it is time for tuning. Are you showing ESC setup in any of your videos?
Hi, congratulations for the beautiful video, I decided to start following you 😉. I wanted to ask you a question, why when I go to raise feedforwar and about the blackbox the "line" gets worse? even only bringing it to the standard value of 1. thanks
Sorry for the late response, 7" really isn't that much different. You may not be able to squeeze out as much master multiplier. I'd start with it at 1 and go up from there.
My most up to date ESC settings are at the end of my Part 1: Setup video. I actually just stick with 48khz low and high for no other reason than efficiency. The performance of 24khz or lower is not worth the reduced battery life or burnt up motors. Those lower frequencies are great for torque but that also means getting in a fight with a tree branch is certain death.
I flew 48khz for the longest period aswell. Im quite sure battery life is not hurt much on 5 inch going to 24-by rpm for example. But yea it gets more heat. But it solves low throttle instability having yo turn off thrust linear helps with more consistent performance so for me atm i Stick with 24- by rpm performance is just increased overall imo
do you do all your tunning flights with air mode on? Cause that could eventually influence on the wobble after your full throttle punch and during the drop?
Yeah this drone is super clean and I can actually get away with just RPM filters alone. It's crazy but it works. As for the Apex. 30-60hz is something really slow moving. That's got to be something like an antenna or wire moving around too much possibly even against the gyro itself. I always run my wires under the ESC whenever possible and never across the top of the FC or anywhere near the gyro.
This video has helped me get my filters dialed in. It’s a good feeling that has eluded me for a year straight. Thank you
This is the most straight forward BF 4.3 tuning with the sliders. Got my subbed man!

You sir earned my sub. Appreciate u taking the time to do this video! Thanks a bunch man! Send it!
Thank you, bro! I've been a huge fan of your channel since I started last year. Your edits are a big reason I got really into doing edits myself.

concise but easy to understand. thanks a lot for this video.
So informative and helpful!
Thanks!
Perfect. Exactly what I was looking for. Thanks a lot buddy 👍

Super clear tuning video dude! Thank you for this!!!
Excellent video mate as usual. Great explanation
All the support.
Awesome video, super concise and easy to follow, thanks 👍
Really nice tutorial, congrats!!💯🚀
187th like. Great video/s, so helpful and great explanations. Quad is already flying 1000% better. TY!!! 🔥🔥
Your quad really clean build.
thanks my man excellent guide 🤘

By the "line" gets worse, do you mean it gets more wobbly?
@@MurdersFPV the more I climb the more it becomes woobly I have to stay around 0.6 / 0.8
@@ElRouge_FPV very strange. Do you notice the wobbles while flying?
@@MurdersFPV some oscillation at the end of split s if I leave them at 1 anyway I have to try again to tune from zero to try again.
@@ElRouge_FPV that sounds like it could be I term. Perhaps try bumping I term down just a tad.
Great informative video. I used this on my 5" and its doing great. I also fly 7" drones anything to change for them?
thx

You dont mention ESC settings. Are you still rocking 24khz low high by rpm ?

I actually have done both in the past. I understand what causes the wobble on the trace so I don't get too worried about it.
are you using a thumb or pincher style on transmitter ?
I'm using a Radiomaster TX16S Max. I hybrid pinch.

damn that log is clean!. i'm getting some noise at 30-60hz, cant quite figures out why. its an apex 5. any ideas?
