My girlfriends and I had a weekend trip, we used this mask and it is super hydrational. Unfortunately one of my friends ended up having some rashes the following day, we thought maybe a bug bit her but by the following evening her face started to swell up. We are both nurses and assumed it could be a slow allergy reaction from the mask, due to a clear outline on her face where the mask went on. We went to the emergency department to get it checked out to be sure. Apparently there has been a few people who has had this reaction with the mask so it wasn't something new according to the doctors. Not sure if it was the same facial mask the others were using but we weren't the first case. It took her another few days before the swelling went down, she still has a tint of tan on her face from the swelling. We laughed about it, good thing she has humour. A weekend trip we wont forget and I definitely wont be introducing anymore face mask to her for our next trip..
She isn't known to any allergy at that point, but I guess she is allergic to some or one of the natural ingredient in this mask. I've been using this mask prior to our trip and have been fine.
Which hydration tester device are you using? I would like to purchase that if it’s accurate

No, you don’t wash it off. Just apply your moisturizer and sunscreen after removing it in the morning. I still prep my skin before using it too.
Is it ok to use after applying tretinoin?
It’s better to list the name of product you are using. It’s so annoying to go back and try to find it
I think this is kind of a scam right now. All videos, reels, tiktoks talk about "the viral collagen mask" but none of them says what it is. Instead they link to some place to buy it for a ridiculous price. And I've checked some videos, they all link to a different brand that nobody has ever heard before 😅

How long will the hydration last ?? Is it temporary?
Everything is temporary. That’s like saying, how long will the stomach stay full after eating?
Its not temporary if u use it frequently like weekly , it will change the skin texture!!
Isn't it said that our skin cannot take in collagen this way and only with food in peptide form? How would this work? It's just temporary hydration?
It's just too big a molecule to be absorbed into skin. On the skin it just attracts water as a humectant
