Getting close here in Massachusetts! Went out at 6am and gassed up 2 vehicles…..and bought some donuts. I’m prepped!

Elsa got my dog and me in the bathroom here on Johns Island, SC! When the phone issues a tornado 🌪WARNING, and the news names the road a block from your house, you take shelter! Thankfully, it didn't touch down!
You reminded me of me and .my dog. We go to the bathroom when bad storms pass over. My dog comes and gets me. Com'on mom.
It rained most of yesterday and all night here in southern Texas! I have a swamp for a yard. Hoping everyone stays safe in the Midwest. I’m am SOO excited for Sunday!

I live in Rhode Island and where getting hit by tropical storm Elsa right now. We are getting a lot of rain but there is no wind at all. It's weird because we had a wind advisory
Oh! No! more rain and thunderstorms for my neck of the woods in Land Between the Lakes (Dover Tennessee) after exciting electrical storms for about 3 hours the deluge of thunder lightning and heavy rain , Thanks @Ryan Hall, Y'all for the great updates for my area and all around

Elsa passed by us yesterday, but we didn't get the rain we were told we were going to get, at least not in the evening. In the evening, Elsa just gave us a few light showers, that was really about it. Not sure what it was like for Maryland's coast, but here in Northeastern Maryland where I'm from, it wasn't bad at all.
I wish you could send some of that rain out here to California.

US government caused monsoons to rain down on Vietnam during their Justified War efforts there but they can't do anything about the drought out west because they used to have that technology but they lost it

@@frankierock1130 no but I know that the monsoon doesn't usually affect California and any rain in summer here is really rare, except for the mountains. There's no geoenginering, summer drought is normal here lol
@@joshuas.686 50 years ago in grade school my teacher told me that they can put dry ice in the clouds and cause it to rain that was geoengineering 50 some years ago she I wonder what they got today

Hey boss, how about some love for the western part of the country? You know, drought updates, wild fire maps, a few critical lake levels, and the like. Doesn't have to be great detail, there's only so much you can do with, "it's dry and still no rain in sight" kind of a thing. Earthquake activity would dovetail nicely as well. It would make you the one stop source for earth happenings in the good ol USA! Weather is more than flash flooding and 'naders at night. Love your stuff and your style...

It's damn impressive Elsa kept that same tropical storm energy through out her east coast tour. It'll be interesting to see what energy she takes for her tour in England

Got a few storm warnings yesterday. Our last one was issued with 70mph winds and 1/2 dollar sized hail along with a possible tornado. This isn’t normal for buffalo New York. I live by the buffalo niagara international airport and we just got a few rumbles of thunder and heavy rain. It made me big sad
i live in northwest iowa, and i must say, we have not gotten a break from the severe thunderstorm warnings

The visuals of the flooding looks like Pikeville, KY. I live close to Louisville and we only got a thunder storm with rain.

You were 100% right about July 9th starting off with a bang, there was torrential downpour and 90+ mph ef1 tornado level winds that damaged many housed and ripped up trees from the ground, I wasn't there for it, but my parents were. My neighborhood got hit especially hard due to all the trees, and it took about a month or so to clean up the massive mess.
Great weathering as always! Thank you for making the effort you do with these videos!!! If you ever need a video topic between storms, any chance you could do one on types of clouds and what they mean (like of clouds you'll see as tornadoes form)? Keep up the great work!!

I'm in the south eastern quadrant of Massachusetts and it's 12:45pm right now. Yes we're getting very steady rain and sometimes it comes down pretty hard. I'm not getting any strong winds so far, just rain coming straight down.
EDIT: I spoke too soon. Since early this morning to just about 1:pm the wind has been still. Now it's just after 1:00pm and the wind is starting to pick up here. My area seems to lose electricity if someone sneezes. Let's see if the power goes out today... or not. You never know.
The humidity here along the Gulf Coast has been horrible. I don’t remember humidity lasting this long without a break.
