Outstanding Explanation Sir...Absolutely the best and the most easily understable video on Word Formation available across the Internet...! Loved studying from the same.❤
First of all I thank you for posing such a beautiful question. Undoubtedly, acronyms can be abbreviations in some cases, but all abbreviations cannot be acronyms. An acronym is formed from the first letters of a series of words and pronounced as a word. For example: AIDS, NATO etc. whereas, an abbreviation may not include only the first letter from the words. For example: St.; It is formed from the word Saint. Dr.; it is formed from Doctor. Another difference between an abbreviation and an acronym is that an abbreviation contains periods in between for example I.D, Mr., I.Q etc. An abbreviation is just a short compact version of the word whereas an acronym consists of words giving concepts or catchy phrases. For example dept. is the short form of department whereas TEAM denotes ‘together everyone achieves more’. The discussion may be extended further but I hope this much of my explanation clears your doubts. Thanks
Welcome! Thanks. You must write the same in the exam. I studied extensively and collected data from various authentic sources to make video lessons. You can’t find the same so much comprehensive in any book at one place. I am sure, your teacher in the classroom will also not be able to deal with the topic so much in detail.
Thank you very much for your valuable words. I understood part of your sentence while the rest is written in different language. Please translate it into English for me. 🌹❤️
I don’t think so. Possibly there could be difference of tone rather than pronunciation. Every body’s tone is different and personal. Tone should not be confused with pronunciation. 😀✅👍

Sir, if we consider (vip) as an acronym so what's the difference between acronym and abbreviation or initials ?
