Wow chat was really trying to sabotage John with their magic suggestions. Drain is THE BEST attack spell for a low MG build, it and Swap are the only spells that don't use your MG stat.
Keeping in line with the rest of the run John's spite causes self sabotage and that every time we think Kathy is doing something dumb she was just playing the long game.
The sheer drama, the incredible narrative of the student Steve surpassing his Master in wickedness and power, culminating in being so close to claiming victory which has eluded him for so long, only for his Master, seeing Steve make the same mistake he has time and again, to strike him down with impunity. And yet Kathy, once so brilliant, seeming to stumble, suddenly reveals that this has all played out in the palm of her hand. The pieces upon the board move exactly as she wishes them to, as she is the sole player. Every last little thing always leads her to only greater heights. One little piece can yell, and insist that greatness will be his. But he remains a mere character in a story Kathy authors.
to beat the cpu players you have to already have them at a dis advantage this a lot easier mind games when its against another player. because when your facing a darkling early on there nothing you can do beside die , so where ever you go will decide your predetermine fate since they know what cards you play so you want to be strong to not die in one hit but also weak enough that they dont just give up.
John misplaying at every opportunity is so funny. I get that playing in front of a crowd is bound to impact performance, but it's so funny to see everything he could do right be right in front of his face.

Dokajohn Kingdom: Dark Steve 2 Arc, 'Race to the Pyramid!' Chapter has definitely been my favourite so far. This really had it all. Exhilarating highs and crushing lows. High stakes, emotional weight, hubris and desperation and panic and relief. Truly this anime is the gift that keeps on giving.
