A place we use to go with family or our youth group to have a swim and play at the playground.
back when Playgrounds were actually decent with a chance of hurting yourself lol.
this is a beautiful place to go to if you ever find yourself around Gisborne New Zealand.
Waihirere Domain.
follow the enjoyable bush walk up to the twin waterfalls and usually clean cool waters.

Gisborne is a super laid back Recreational city , the locals still greet you and have a conversation,
They are legit useless at using roundabouts though 😂😂 they have no clue what to do lol
And my pleasure there's a beautiful nature walk through native bush to those waterfalls.
Then the old pools below.
Life is beautiful once you accept that you don't need to be rich or have fancy things to be happy.

Gisborne is a beautiful place a real recreational and relaxed way of life where people love the outdoors.
I guess this one just didn't have more life in it.
It's always strange seeing places you used to visit as a kid and seeing them now no longer in use and neglected. Definitly nostalgic.

And so true, I often wonder why such happens,.my hometown is such a outdoorsy city you'll always see people at the beach or running etc, so I do wonder why this little spot was left to grow weeds and be just another nostalgic static memory.

Usually the upper water pool under the falls is clean and you can jump in there for a plunge lol,
A women had just passed me with 15 dogs so it wasn't clean 😂.
I remember we'd spend the afternoon here at the pools with youth group and playing at the original playground good times.
