great achievment! You are right - most things are possible if you put your mind to it!! Having bits and pieces - and lovely bits of wood etc - is great when you need to build sometning; Ikeep these sort of things but have to be discerning or end up in a clutter!! Love your lifestyle - at 71 I am selling my house to find something small and simple - but must have a garden; I love building things - so satisfying.

I used to struggle to accept things from people then taught myself to not say 'no' and started getting some really useful stuff.
Now that I have become mobile I've had to go back to politely say no again.
It's surprising what people think I need, smart clothes, fashionable shoes other such things that just can't fit into my lifestyle.
The video was unwatchable for me on my phone but I could listen to the audio so didn't losel any of the post.
I sometimes just listen to video's aswell. once i kind of know the channel i am watching i can often just listen like it is a telephone call as such.

You have done a wonderful job on your kitchen at a very minimal cost - well done! I’ve been lucky to find like minded people to share or gift things too. Be it building materials, household goods, or even produce. It’s a wonderful feeling! You have treasures stored away that you may need one day. I took down one of my old raised beds - the wood was starting to rot. A friend is picking the wood up to use in his shop wood burning stove during the winter. I gifted butter milk to another friend and he in turn gave me a jar of homemade apple sauce - sharing is a wonderful thing! Thank you for sharing your thoughts and ideas every week!

Hello! I only accept items or the ones I find if I can use them immediately. Otherwise they will not only take up space but annoy the hell out of me staring me in the face 24/7. Hi I agree that you should try and save as much as you can to keep a check on expenses. It is difficult for us watching you to really understand what you value and what is not of importance to you. This is your individual, unique life. Just take it slow and enjoy the process. If in doubt, don't, take time to re-plan your ideas. There is no rush. Take care of yourself
