@@bleedthemachineband I third it. Even if you have one in the storage compartment (didn't see it), you will never get to it when you need it. You already proved you can fall off :). Inflatables weigh nothing and are cheaper than batteries for your Mavic.
M U C H R E S P E C T...!!! Kagen, first I'd like to say it was very "Sportsman Like" of you to NOT tell your story while hold the fish you were intending to release. Much respect. Other than that thank you for sharing your Solo Adventures. Tight Lines and Full Limits to Ya.!
Just found your channel and am hooked! I just moved to the Woodlands a week ago and have been wanting to get down to Galveston and wet some lines. The jetties seem like ok spots, but do you think its possible to wade fish galveston bay without having access to a boat?
I have guys in 60k bass boats tell me I have a bad ass rig. I have a 6 Suzuki and trolling motor on bow. It is by far the best fishing rig I've ever had. Period
Just by the looks of the roundabout I don’t believe this is really what I am looking for. I don’t think it will run 13.6 mph and doesn’t look like it would paddle very straight against a wind or current. Thank you for the suggestion though!
The Traveling Angler The hull alone weighs 150lbs. So I guess depends on how tall your camper is and how much weight it can support on roof. Solo loading, I couldn’t see it being easy at all unless you rigged up a winch or something. Truck bed loading and trailer loading solo no problem.
Soft plastic swim baits. I mostly throw Down South Lures. Those are probably not available I your area but I could be wrong. Other big brands are norton and mirrorlures that I throw.
I've been living in Lumberton tx for a year an a half now so yeah they probably are. The video you did at pleasure island bridge is where I fish mostly cause that's the only place I know
Jim Parten 13 fishing concept A. Good reel. Casts far built to last strong drag around 160$. Second is the lews pro team lite crazy smooth reel build like a tank but more $
sloshyjoe The price depends on the distributor you purchase it from. The hull can be had from 1850-2000. Then motor price varies for brands but the Tohatsu 6hp new runs for 1400.
By far the best sooo skiff video clips thanks
Great videos really enjoy watching them. Keep up the great work.
Nice review, all three videos ! Serious suggestion...wear a PFD... No joke buddy, it can, and will save your life.
I 2nd this

He is in like waist deep water at most points but I think it’d be smart to have it on you or on the deck at least

So much better than a rover I’ve owned both.
Awesome dude, that's a real fishing machine !
Awesome 3 day journey brother! Digging the Drone footage!
Looking forward to your future Solo Skiff videos!🎣😃👍
Thanks man!
Can't wait to see some BTB action!
Sup man! Heck of a job on the videos. I'm liking that skiff setup you got there, I MAY get one sometime. Keep up the good work
ROBJ Fishing thanks my man! It’s a fun time for sure.
I know it sounds cheesy but I got the pelican bass raider at academy and 2.5 motor from bass pro shop. Total cost 1400. Never been happier.
Kccacio Sounds like you got something to get out and catch fish in and that’s a win in my book!
Thanks Kagen. I live on Dickinson bayou and i know it like the back of my hand. If you ever want to give it a try let me know
I think im going to just make the move and buy it... It will be so perfect for me and my dog
Anthony Galluccio It is a very fun machine! haha your dog will love riding on it!!
Great video
What was wind velocity that day? My Solo friends suggest I don't go on days over 10 knots. What's your experience?

Yes!! That’s awesome to hear. Mind sharing the details of trolling motor and how you mounted to bow?
x2 on what Kagen said. Can you please give us details on how you mounted it?
U should try out the Roundabout Boat a lot cheaper and still put a motor like the soloskiff

Nice video! I have been thinking about getting a Solo for my channel! Is it light enough to put on top of a camper?

Yo man we should go fishing sometime I fish a lot out of greens and east bay
Great video bud...what type of mic u hv on your camera
Backwater Hookers I don’t remember the exact brand at the moment but it was a cheapo off amazon and it has worked great
Those looked like DOA lures. Is that correct?
Kevin Patten they are Down South Lures
From North East Mississippi an never salt water fished. What kinda swimbaits do you throw?

Subbb!! Awesome trip man
Did you end up buying one yet?
Kaan Orer Yah man! Check out my other videos! I take it out every chance I get.
@@KagenFishing I will. Just ran into your video 👍😎🎣
How much is the soloskiff motor and all?

I picked mine up used rigged with motor for 3500$, spent another 200$ on a used trailer
