Today we'll check out the JOYO Meteor 2 mini amplifier. The prototype of this amp was a modern British high gain amp by Orange. This is probably the model that Jim Root from the band Slipknot plays.

I bought the version 1 of the meteor and I felt It needed some "push" so I bought an overdrive pedal and now it sounds much better for metal.
Maby I should have bought the zombie version from the begining but now I have an orange crush pro 120 and it sounds so much better

The Zombie is disappointing. It sounds alright at low volume, but has no overhead at all, so it loses all character and plays like a particularly unimpressive solid state, at anything past noon. Youll never run the gain past 5(I find it excessive at 3, with a screamer) The clean channel is awful at all volumes. Id have much rather had the Meteor.
But... volume and gain no higher than about 4 with a EQ in the loop, the sneaky little thing for real sounds like a Mesa.

Do you use this with a studio monitor? I have an ampless rig but using JOYO american sound and studio monitor my problem is when I set the high/treble & mid past noon the speaker itself distorts/clips

I'm not sure what you will answer, but still the version of joyo has the function of turning on the minus via bluetooth, does this function continue to work about connecting to the joyo cab?

Send --> Cab box
The Speaker Out is meant only for speakers or a Loadbox like the Torpedo, that handles correctly that kind of output.
The Phone Out is terrible, It has some EQ to simulate a cab, but to me it's garbage. And not only on the Meteor, i have the Zombie too and it's the same.
