    This man has more knowledge about how lead acid battery works than those who try to revive a lead acid battery with epsom salt or something like that. He know what the meaning of corroded and oxidation in electrolysis process. He know that it is impossible to revive dissolved lead which is the positive part of a battery. So he create new one from the negatif segmen which is not sacrifice lead plate. You own my respect sir. Dont forget to use safety tool my friend. The fume from that melting lead containing toxic.

    • @MrocznyTechnik
      @MrocznyTechnik 4 года назад +6

      The best comment so far. Negative plates can be turned positive during so called "forming". Due to current flow, positive plate will be oxidized, lead oxide is what we want on positive plate. And as you said, no miracle salts nor hyper-zapper-smart chargers will help. This rebuild process shown seems to be only sensible way. He works on open air so maybe lead fumes are not so big concern, however gloves will help a lot. Skin absorbs lead, luckily in limited way.

    My dad started to work in a well known battery company in my country.They have a asphalt wherein you can repair some of the cells of the battery.Unfortunately, asphalt batteries are no longer available.That is our family business for more than 30 years.So proud of my dad.

    You are a true self-made scientist/engineer. Most scientists/engineers with fancy PhD's are just faking it. For example you solved numerous real/practical problems without endless money, endless fancy meetings, an endless bureaucratic hierarchy, etc, etc.
    I have only one minor constructive criticism though: gloves, filter mask, ventilation, etc to protection you from lead poisoning. For example I'll try to as much work as practical within a sandblasting enclosure.

    You can safe money if you build ( rebuild) your own battery . But if you make a business in this way shown, you will have a short life only . I think the toxic gases which evaporize from the molten lead will cause heavy deseases .....
    And as someone other mentioned here the six compartments are not sealed , so acid could flow from one to another compartment

    1. no attention has been paid to not allow acid and gas to flow between cells where they are electrically connected;
    2. you touch the lead plates with bare hands and it might not clean well then go into your food when you eat.
    What capacity these refurbished batteries develop ? Do you control the sulfuric acid density ?
