    Definitely the best way to fillet catfish. Electric fish fillet knives are the way to go for most all fish

  • @niceguy2171
    @niceguy2171 5 лет назад +3

    This was very much needed, as lot's of people struggle w/cleaning catfish..and I'm really glad you showed it w/a few of them as well. A good strong electric fillet knife is a big help, and people you need the power to get through tougher parts, and that 1 looks to do the trick. Excellent video! And yes, more cleaning ones please.

    I have been hobby raising channel Catfish for years. Cleaning them for years. Every once in a while I pick up something new to improve my Hobby-business. You have taught me about the red meat taste. My wife will be very pleased. Although I kinda like or at least tolerate the red meat taste she just don't like it. Thanks so much for this Video. I so am happy for you two and your way of life. You have so much to be thankful for. And thank you for sharing.

    I see in all of your fish cooking video's that you throw away the skin.
    I don't know but for some skin like salmon who is also quite havy you can make chips out of it.
    Maybe you try on a video and see if it also counts for the fish you eat.

    Hey Cole... what happened to the rechargeable fillet knife someone sent you ???

    • @COLE_and_JAY
      @COLE_and_JAY  4 года назад

      I still have it but it doesn’t work very well. It’s heavy on the back end because of the battery pack and with it being rechargeable, as the battery dies, the cutting power of the knife goes with it. It’s unfortunate 😭 you can only clean 5-6 fish before it becomes too weak to cut properly.

    • @charlieadamczak8574
      @charlieadamczak8574 4 года назад

      @@COLE_and_JAY Well that sux, I thought it was going to be a good product. Although the battery capacity does get better after a few recharges, If my experience with RC cars is any indication of battery life. Keep up the GOOD work. The videos are very entertaining and educational.
