    Hi.
Any chance of you comparing the Primus Lite plus with the " BRS 61 JET boil "
I think you might be pleasantly surprised.
    Thanks for sharing.
PS what is the height of the support posts please, ignore the thread.
    Thank you

Not in the short term T. But on first glance it looks almost identical to the Primus

    Hi, Thanks for sharing.
Can you please tell me how tall are the pegs, Excluding the threaded portion, so how much extra height (stand off) do the pegs add ?
I have a similar cook system but lacking the pegs.
    Thank you, take care.

They are pretty small. Maybe 1/2-3/4 inch

What would you get to cook food on the trails\while camping, if you are pretty new to the activity of camping ?
Jetboil ? Pocketrocket ? some trangia like stuff?

Pocket rocket style(many brands) and 500 ml pot for 1 person. More people, whisperlight/snow peak option with 1-2L wide bottom pot

copy of jetboil. they save fuel quite a lot compared to tripod stove, but are also quite bulky. I have both and use both, two tripods and 3 copies, but mostly use jetboil style ones, as they save fuel and are safer to use, as they hold the cup locked in position.

Dude, Boil water that's all we need to know..
    How long does it take?

If you want your stoves to live as long as possible, never ever cook food with lid! It will boil over, run liquid to burner and it will never be cleaned again, and will fail over time... ask me how i know.
